I went in with a broken iPhone, and an iPad with a shattered screen. I had been to two other stores (Sprint and Best Buy) and no one could help me. It was always going to be really expensive or really complicated. Well, a third store's a charm! Not only was the manager, that greeted all of us waiting outside, super nice but the store was immaculate. I went to the Genius Bar and Manny took care of me. After trying everything he could, he ended up replacing my phone AND sent in a request for a replacement iPad. He was patient and understanding and KNEW what he was talking about. You guys have no idea how much you changed my day! You're the best! Thank you SO much! read more

We had a terrible experience at Best Buy trying to sell our old MacBook Airs. Best Buy quoted us at $60 for two of them, but then also wiped the entire system. We had to take it to apple so they can reinstall it, and they offered $600!! The employee was beyond helpful, offering us student discounts, trade in deals, and more. We walked out with a brand new iPad Air, airtags, pen, and case! It made our week! P.s. college students! We didn't know this, but you get insane discounts! It saved us at least $100! read more

Went in for a replacement AirPod. Got the AirPod and the genius person basically got the packaging out of the box and handed it to me. She was nice but didn't explain at all how to pair the new AirPod and basically just pointed to the little card with a diagram on it vaguely showing what I need to do. Tried doing that with the little guidance I received and expectedly, didn't work. Went to forums and didn't work. I ended up finding my other AirPod in the meantime and put it back in my case and it worked again and connected all perfectly. Perfect. Went to return the replacement AirPod because it's a $96 piece of plastic that I don't need anymore and suddenly it's not returnable. Completely unused, everything in the packaging untouched (or at least the skeleton of the packaging I received considering I didn't receive any box, just a piece of cardboard with cutouts for the AirPod and ear pad replacements), and literally within 48 hours of purchasing it, to no avail. Also, the genius person I had, mentioned absolutely nothing of this $96 purchase being final sale. I might've tried looking a bit harder for my lost AirPod if I knew I'd be out $100 with an unnecessary piece of plastic sitting in my drawer. I am reviewing the Apple wireless earbuds. This may be a weird Yelp review but I think it is relevant because most of us have either an IPhone or a galaxy. I HATED the wired headphones and I seem to be some type of mutant - none of the other headphones ever fit my ears comfortably. The inside of my ears must be abnormally small - so after a short period of time - it was uncomfortable listening to music or whatever. I took a chance on these despite the $150 price tag because it is an Apple product. The holder is cool. It fits in the palm of your hand. No more silly wires to tangle - ugh. Each bud is designed for each specific each and slips perfectly in. My phone "hums" as them go in my ear in acknowledgement. When I get in my car - they automatically convert to the Bluetooth feature - SO COOL. I used them for hands free walk today with my dogs - awesome! I also used with my iPad to view a movie - again - no programming- as with all Apple products - these are intuitive. They just "know" what they are supposed to do. For a non-tech person that is SO nice! They hold the charge a pretty long time, too. The price is well worth it. The sound quality it good too. Honestly- I don't know enough to know if it is excellent. I just know it's perfect for me. read more

They are "understaffed" but apparently have enough people to have one guy stand at the front doing nothing but telling people they are booked. I was wanting a battery replacement for my Iphone XS Max. It is starting to loose charge faster and I wanted to head off a problem before it became one. I made an online appointment. I did arrive on time for my appointment. I did have to wait longer than expected but as usual the store was very busy and the associates were doing the best they could. My rep. went through the process and agreed that the battery was starting to show its age. They didn't have the part on hand so it had to be ordered. She also said in order to replace my battery, the speaker had to be replaced! I don't understand why that is necessary, especially since there is an extra charge for that. (Sounds a bit like Apple's make you buy something you don't want but have to have because of design issues). The rep. couldn't give me a reason either. My part came in, I was notified by email and told to stop by anytime. I dropped the phone off, waited 1 hours only to be told they couldn't change the battery because they found a screw "stripped" and couldn't get the unit open! I wasted 2 hours of my day, not including the trip time only to find out that the genius bar couldn't open the phone! I am finding that very suspect. I got home, examed the screw in question and it doesn't look stripped to me. The alternative I was offered was of course a replacement or an upgrade. Bottom line, this is an extremely busy store and but based on the other reviews on Yelp, they are understaffed and in some cases under trained to be handling this much. So sad! I got my mom's Ipad pro12.9" when she passed away Dec 2022. When I did the last update my. wi-Fi and Bluetooth stopped working. I was not able to turn them on. The buttons were grayed out. I brought them into Apple Temecula promenade today. They are unable to fix it. They say it's a hardware issue. I find that hard to believe. It's only three years old. It's never been dropped, had any contact with water, has always been in the case. This is a really sad. My mom spent so much money on this iPad 12.9256 gigs so it wasn't cheap. I think they just want you to buy a new one. I would like to talk to Apple directly but have no idea how to do that. I will say the guy that helped me was really nice! I think it's sad ny mom spent like 1,300 on it and didnt lasta full 3 years. shame on you apple! read more

Several years back, when this was a smaller store, I had a terrible experience here. Rather than leave an emotional rant about myself and my needs, spewing anger and nonsense, I immediately spoke to a manager. That manager led me to another manager (their own manager), who I believe is still currently the "store leader." The big boss. The big boss understood my frustration and took action to remedy my experience. But more importantly, from my perspective, I believe the "big boss" took long term action as well (or already set in motion a change) to ensure that similar experiences were minimized. Every experience I have had in this Apple store since then has been exactly what you expect from the business you're giving $1k+ to every other year for just one device (not to mention all the other devices and numerous services). When your product comes at a premium, you expect the best service - this store has it. Certainly the product of good leadership and great employees. Unreal! I came here to buy and IPad and we received HORRIBLE customer service. Let me rephrase...no service! No one greeted us at all when we walked in. Took a trip to the Apple Store today in Temecula, had a few questions and wanted a demo on how to set some things up. We were greeted by Derrick who answered our questions and got our family sharing all straightened out. Very nice guy. So who can just go to the Apple Store without browsing. Not my family.... so we were looking at the new mac desk top computers when up come Daniel . He wanted to make sure we didn't have any questions. Daniel is SUPERB !! Of course by now we had questions. Daniel answered them all with flying questions, joked around and helped us explore even more Apple products. He showed us how the Apple TV worked with Siri activated voice remote. (Siri only like his voice although I think we said Denzel Washington the same) go figure.... After showing us Apple TV he showed us the Mac mini. If you don't know what this is visit your local Apple Store or go online. This is definitely a purchase I would love to make. He also showed us the Mac Pro! Wow is all I can say. For all the Apple haters out there it's okay this Yelp is not for you, but for all of us die hard people, Temecula is definitely one of the better stores, and Daniel really does care. read more

So my sons iPhone 11 just stopped working and he's only had it for a month so I had to take it to the apple store. Once we got to the apple store there were a bunch of employees standing outside I walked up to one of the employees explained to them we had a sick phone and the employee told me we would be seen in 2 1/2 hrs!!! Whaaat!! I said that's crazy! But I decided to wait Bc we drove allllll the way out to the store from riverside and I wasn't coming back so I said uggh ok we'll wait that was at 4:00 pm . Me and my kids walked around the damn mall those 2 1/2 hrs 6:30 finally rolled around and we went back to the store where they took our temperature's and took us to a table and told us it would be another 10-20 minutes before anyone could help us. I said are you serious?!?!?! The employee was like yeah, sorry were really busy and blah, blah, blahhh Anyways so like 15 minutes rolls by and finally one of the workers comes out. * I can't remember his name but he had a really awesome personality* well I explained the situation about the phone phone to him and he told me what the "issues" could be so they ran a diagnostic test on the phone turnes out the phone had hard drive problems and the phone was basically toast Bc my son didn't do the iOS 13 update. Luckily for us the phone was still under warranty so we were able to get him a new phone but in order to do that I had to have proof that we owned the phones or we couldn't get it. Seriously?! At that point it was already like 730pm luckily there was a T-Mobile at the mall so I ran my fat ass upstairs got a a copy that we in fact owned the phone rushed all the way back to apple showed the worker and he was getting everything all situated which took another 30 minutes then he comes back and is like oh we don't have that phone in stock your going to have to go to the Victoria gardens location. By that time I was over it. I said can't you just give us a phone in another color ? And he was like no you have to get the same color *its white*. But he reassured me that the vg's location had it and that I can walk right it when they open. I said ok and got the hell out of there. I had the worst experience with trying to buy 3 iPads for my kids, I went up to buy them but had a simple question on should I get the iPad Air for them rather than the pro. While talking to the man another associate came up and said "he can't answer any of those question you either buy it now or leave." NOW!! I understand there is a pandemic but COVID does NOT effect character and the way you speak to people. It was nasty and rude. I left the store and decided to go to Best Buy instead. Came here a few times and it's a hit or miss. A few years back was with my iPhone 4, they didn't fix anything and I decided to just get a new phone. Got the iPhone 5 and the battery life sucked, I constantly needed to be plugged in for it to charge, but once it's fully charge at 80%, if I unplugged it, it went to 10% in just minutes. Came here and again, didn't get much help. Came here to get help with my iPad and the guy worked with me on getting the screen to not turn down on its own, randomly. I dropped the iPad off for them to fix it, walked around the mall, came back and the iPad was set and we can now watch movies on it without it shutting down the screen on us just randomly. read more

Located at the Promenade Mall, this store will be the "GO TO" place for many Mac users. Get your hands on the latest and greatest from Apple and try it out for yourself. iPods, iPhones, iMacs, and anything else that starts with an "i" you'll be sure to find it here. Plus, you can make an appointment with a Mac Genius here to help troubleshoot any problems that arise with your apple product (and that's not as common as PC's!!!). Really happy to have this shop open up in town. Temecula is becoming the "get all you need in one area" place. Not that I'm complaining. read more

Went in last night and dropped off my phone to get the battery replaced (at full price). They said they could not get it done until today. I went back tonight (40 minute round trip drive x 2) and waited approximately 15 minutes only to have them tell me that they could not make the repair happen due to water damage from years prior (which was not made clear last night). Why take the phone in the first place? They could have opened it up in 5 minutes or less last night to tell me. And why make me wait for 15 minutes to pick it up once I got there? No wonder Apple stocks are dropping. The service was once spectacular but this location in Temecula definitely isn't living up to the vision and memory of Steve Jobs. The manager on duty (Marla) was kind and listened patiently but ultimately I left with a sense my family and I are no more than a statistic. read more

I came into the store without an appointment regarding my cracked iphone screen. Every associate I spoke with was very helpful, and ultimately they assisted me in making an appointment with the Genius bar. The day of the appointment I arrived on time, but was then asked to sit at a table for about 20 minutes without any explanation of what was going on, or how long my wait would be. Once I was finally helped, I was told that it would be an hour and a half before my phone would be ready. (originally when I made the appointment I was told an hour tops.) After the hour and a half, I came back and got sat at another table to wait to pay and pick up my phone. The phone turned out perfect, the associates are very informative and nice, only lacking in customer service is explanation of all the extra waiting and why or how long. They are the same price as other retail stores to fix your screen, if not cheaper. Overall good experience, Just plan on spending extra time there for your appointment. read more
