I am a Make A Wish wish granter and today I had a wish kid come into the store to get an Apple watch that was on his list. I had called ahead to check out the lay of the land and chatted with Anthony, one of the managers, he made me feel reassured ahead of time that our Wish kid was going to get a great experience. This morning I came into the store to wait for wish kid and met with Anthony, Brian, Maddie and Carlos. We discussed what kind of entrance my wish kid would like. I was appreciative that the employees were willing to go all out to welcome our 9 year old kid into the store (applause, doors opening etc). But ultimately we decided that wouldn't be value added for our kid, so we went with the low key option. When our kid got to the store Maddie had the exact model of the watch our kid was interested in ready to go and they had Carlos dedicated to helping our kid get his phone set up. I could tell that Carlos has helped many people with their products with the way that he gave clear and easy directions and had a lot of patience. What a great experience. I was on trip coming from Sacramento and stopped by here to buy a case for my new phone. The vibe of store was little busy but I've been to many Apple stores state wide there was always someone who greeted you even during holidays seasons when it's busier, this store nope no greeting. I found the case rack had an idea of what wanted was probably looking the cases for good 15 minutes no one asked me if i needed helped. I tried looking for anyone that could help me but everyone was busy and looking for someone who was finishing up with apple employee. They would offer assistance to people coming in after me it got to the point where I had to interrupt someone so I could give yall my money and leave! While at the store another customer kept asking me for assistance as if I'm an Apple employee I was not wearing anything that they issue Apple employees my shirt had Disneyland across the front and obviously no name tag. My overall experience here was weird and felt unwelcomed. Staff were extremely unhelpful which is concerning bc there's was at least 20 people on the floor. Now what really makes this experience a full home run is the case they sold me has to be fake in matter of week my case start forming air bubbles on the sides and was deteriorating and I'm not dropping my phone regularly or anything rough to warrant this condition. My mom has the same case for her phone and when I got case from different location the quality of the case felt so much more authentic. Would not recommend this location they seem to have a very particular preference in their clientele. May not get any assistance and or assumed your the help if don't look like their preferable demographic. Due to a personal emergency I could not return the case and I was stopping by for a quick trip wish I went somewhere else. read more

It was time for a new MacBook, ordered one online and came to my local Apple Store to pick it up. This location tends to be very busy. Lots of folks buying Apple products, browsing, etc. One nice thing about Apple stores is that have a separate section for pickups so I didn't have to wait too long. Not sure this is a problem with this specific store or Apple support in general, but if I had to guess I'd say this is an Apple support problem. Bought my over priced case with my iPhone and was told it's covered under the Apple same warranty. Thought that's cool, helps with the expensive price of it. So it's maybe 6 months old and peeling so I stopped into the store and was told its covers needed to make an appoint to meet with a specialist so they can verify it's covered... a case, that's peeling. Have to wait a week and come back, for a case. Seriously Apple, don't make it so needlessly difficult. You're losing your long term customers this way. read more

Came in to get my beats fixed at the Genius Bar. I recommend making an appointment when doing so. I'm glad I did because this place was packed, even on a Tuesday and from what the staff said, it's always busy. I was able to get my beats sent out with the staff's assistance, since it's under warranty. Love their service. I should receive it within 5 business days at no additional cost. read more

This store is horrible, I would never go back. I have a six month old phone that will not turn on and have had to have it "repaired " twice. They are now saying that there is nothing they can do to help me. They will not issue a replacement phone for who knows why, I am basically screwed without a way of communication. Just received great service from this Apple Store. I had heard that they had long waits and that the customer service was terrible. That couldn't have been further from the truth. The guy that helped me was super knowledgeable, he helped me understand what plan I was on with my carrier and what my options were for getting a new IPhone. He didn't try to upsell me nor did he put down any of the other carriers. He was just factual, gave me my options, and even told me to hold off on a decision till I did some more investigating. I left without a purchase but they are definitely my top choice if all options are equal. Good experience with this store. read more

This review is entirely in regard to the fact that the products sold here are lower in cost on Amazon than at the actual store. We were going to go down today to buy an iPad but we see it is $40 less from Amazon so why would we make the journey to a store to pay more money? I think it's a bummer for these brick-and-mortar businesses that have to pay more overhead to lose business to Amazon that does not, but such as life. I really dislike rating it this way, but i need to be honest. While they did repair my iPhone by changing the battery, most of the staff was not the friendliest and short at times. I did have an appointment and still had to wait 5 hours to get my battery changed, plus they way i was explained the process was rudely by Francisco, he had no patience nor did he deliver the wait time very kindly. This was my first time going to any Genius bar...so I had no clue. On the positive side, when i did go pick up my phone I did interact with an amazing technician at the Learning Table center and his name was Carlos. He was super welcoming and even volunteered to teach me a crash course about the photo application, while i waited! KUDOS to Carlos!!!!! read more

I came in here needing my device factory reset I forgot my recovery key and could not log into my iCloud to get it reset The store told me they could erase data but my iCloud would still be attached to the phone until I was able to reset my apple id They told me theres nothing else they can do for me in store and I'd have to submit an online request They gave me a phone number I called it 3 times yesterday and explained my situation, this morning I wake up to my device factory reset. Moral of the story Don't go into the store unless you gotta buy something from them (switch to google/samsung) Cause how is it a call center employee in India can wipe my phone over night without me ever resetting my iCloud or anything but the store employees down the street from my house have 0 power??? I just made the big switch from Windows 10 to a brand new 2025 Mac-Mini M4 ($799), accompanied by a 27" Studio Display monitor ($1,700). To my great dismay, the ultra expensive Studio Display did not operate out-of-the-box because the all-important CONTRAST SLIDER adjustment was completely inoperative. This essentially nukes the monitor's raison d'être! Accepting anything other than a brand new replacement at this point and allowing them to break into my device for a repair would be tantamount to me paying the full price for a "refurbished" unit, because it was clearly compromised before I ever touched it. The folks at the Carlsbad Apple Store quite smugly went full Communist on me. They completely disregarded any semblance of reasonableness relative to basic customer satisfaction for a materially defective item out-of-the-box. They also summarily dismissed the seven hours I was on the phone in the prior week, building a formal case with Apple Corporate Senior Advisors and the Apple Engineering Department, refusing to even take the case number! Is this the way to treat a good faith customer? Instead, their condescending and arrogant edict was delivered in true Soviet-style in no uncertain terms: "We don't ever replace a brand new item out-of-the-box, you need to bring it in here where will will fix or repair the brand new out-of-the box $1,700 Studio Display, and you will be without a functioning computer for 14-days because that's our repair back-log time." No further discussion. The female store manager was beginning to walk away from me before she even uttered the last word. Yikes, how insulting! These people want ME to bear the full burden of some Apple manufacturing irregularity instead of simply donning their Big Boy Pants and giving me a brand new replacement! Welcome to the Land of Apple Comrades, circa 2026! They believe in winning mere battles, eschewing any thoughts about the inevitability of losing the long-term war. There's a reason this store is currently rated 3.8 stars: unhelpful staff lacking in customer service skills and with abrasive attitudes. The manager kept repeating the same rhetoric to me over and over; he would look around the room while I spoke with him. There were no smiles, no appreciation with a thank you. Visited the Apple Store on Saturday and despite several Apple workers standing around I was told to make an appointment. I told the sales rep that I had a question regarding my earbuds. Nope have to make an appointment. So I adjusted my schedule and arrived a little earlier than my time, I was told to wait at the tables. I noticed this one guy with a crushed phone was able to walk up and receive immediate attention, wtf! Well someone came over and one minute later told me that my ear buds are older and it would be $138 to replace, wow why couldn't they have said that on Saturday instead of having to reschedule my day to come all the way to their store to have someone tell me that they are vintage, total waste of my time. Last Sunday, I visited the Apple Store at The Forum in Carlsbad, CA. My daughter had set up most of my new phone, but we hit a snag and couldn't download all my contacts from my old phone. After trying everything, we went to the store for help. A young woman there listened carefully and immediately set to work. What seemed like an easy fix turned out to be more complicated, but she patiently tried multiple solutions until she discovered what was blocking the download and resolved it. I was so impressed -- not just by her skill and knowledge, but by her patience and genuine willingness to help. Once the contacts were fixed, she even helped us erase everything from our old phones so we could turn them in that same morning. It's rare these days to find customer service that is this skillful, efficient, and kind. I wish I had asked her name -- I only realized I hadn't as I was driving away. I hope the Apple Store at The Forum continues to hire and recognize employees like her. They are truly an asset. read more

I was waiting like for 10 minutes on my land line phone and just hang up. So, day two and I'm back at the store, now I'm insisting that somebody will help me at the store.
