I enjoyed my visit to Apple University Village this midday, Tuesday 24 March 2026. In the morning, I had called a different Apple Store location and found out they had sold out of the MacBook Neo and was directed to this location for it still being available. I opted to make a quick visit here to see if I could get one of the remaining options. For parking I went with the North Garage, by C level the spaces were opening up. The Apple Store was easy to spot/find. Windows donned MacBook Neo artwork in various colors on the front and back of the store. I went in the front entrance and found the laptops on display area. Hopeful they still had some MacBook Neo in stock, when prompted, I asked a worker if they had any 256 GB left. They were down to indigo and silver color options. Lucky for me as my favorite metal is silver. The worker was friendly and professional in helping me through the purchasing process and I was soon on my way with a laptop. read more

Kind staff and clean location. When I accidentally forgot my return window the staff still helped me and got me a refund. The employees are always eager to help or provide insight and are generally lovely people. This store does get busy and that can be frustrating but it is what it is! read more

Unsure why so few stars for this location. Every time I visit - I'm taken care of very well. Maybe the key is to have an appointment? Dunno. In any case - my beloved iPad Pro M4 13" had a screen issue. Luckily it was still within the warranty period. Prior to the visit I ran some quick diagnostics at home - it would mirror the entire screen perfectly to my other devices/monitors so I was pretty sure the issue was the screen. Met with the nice fellow in charge of my case, explained the problem, went over the troubleshooting I performed prior to coming to the store and he quickly determined that it just needed a new screen. Also nice not be condescended to. I'm a reasonably tech savvy guy so had a pretty good idea of what was going on. Back in my corporate days I had my share of "tech support" calls that featured techs that didn't know much beyond following a script yet still managed to treat you like an idiot so it was nice to not have any of that. Turned it over to them and in just days - my iPad is returned and performing beautifully. What's not to like? read more

I went in recently to get my iPhone battery replaced after five years. Associate named Brendan (or Brandon) was quite helpful in giving me tips on what alternative ways besides the battery I could go in order to prolong my phone's lifespan. He was very informative and suggested some options I wasn't so sure about at first. read more

The people working here were friendly to me and tried their best to help me when my phone was broken last year. Even though they couldn't fix my phone at the store, they tried to provide me other solutions. Apple products are generally overpriced, but that's not the staff's fault. Only reason this is a 4 star is because of most of the employees! Especially Douglas and Judas who were awesome! The woman manager I dealt with this morning was rude and dismissive. I asked her questions about my preorders and she shooed me to a line without answering. Just not good. The girl who helped me get checked in was also short and didn't help answer any questions. The process began with a painful "explanation" as to why my phone, which wasn't wired charging, was over heating, and not staying alive long, was overheating. The employee pointed to the titanium material of the 16 pro. We spent about 30 minutes talking about battery health, which was completely unrelated to the fact that the phone wasn't charging. I was then told that the issue, combined with the entirety of the back of the phone being cracked, would be taken to the repair center. I found this odd given in the past my Apple Care has warranted a replacement phone for $100. Anyways, the employee told me the phone would be ready in 4 hours. I could not wait that long, so she told me to come in at 10 AM the next day to repair the phone in 1-2 hours. I did exactly that and was told that the phone would be done by 2pm (certainly not 1-2 hours.) I arrived at 2pm and waited another hour until the phone was done. They did not apologize or give me any sort of time frame. Overall, the lack of honest communication and the lack of respect from nearly everyone in the store was disappointing. I always praise Apple for their customer service, so it's a shame that this location wasn't able to serve in a similar fashion. read more

This Apple store always has a ton of employees, but you still have to wait at least 10-20 minutes, even if you have an appointment. I came in to trade in my phone and was rudely quoted a number that was only 20% of the price stated on Apple's website. I pointed it out to the person helping me, and he couldn't answer and stated that was what his device said after scanning my phone. I then took my phone home and used Apple's website to print a Fedex label and received the full trade in value when it was received. I would say avoid going to the store in person whenever possible. read more

Was in Seattle on vacation and my phone broke so I set up an appointment on the same day to get it tested. When I first came my phone get tested at the bar. The worker who helped me was so knowledgeable and kind. He tested out my phone with a few tests to see if it would be able to be rebooted. When nothing worked, he helped refer me to a sales associate. The sales associate was also so helpful, he informed me about the different phone options and the different price options. I just wanted to give a shout out to Jen. Seemed to be a manager or something. I had to swap out Apple Pencils because I accidentally bought the wrong one. I was in there and out of there in maybe five minutes. Made my trip to the Apple store so quick and easy and painless. Generally, I would rather drop a brick on my foot then go to the Apple Store and would rather drop two bricks on my foot then go to U Village in general. It is my personal hell. I never write a review unless I feel particularly moved by someone's style of work. I had to give some flowers here. Jen was friendly, attentive and graceful under pressure even though it was busy and they had employees and customers asking questions the entire time. Not overbearing but casual yet professional and got it done with zero pain or annoyance. 10/10 customer service and really nice person who clearly knew what was going on. This review is based solely on the help I recently got from the Genius Bar. My phone had been acting real weird, and I needed immediate help. A worker took my number and told me the wait for help would be 1-1.5 hours. I was willing to wait. After leaving the store for a bit, I actually got a text within an hour! I appreciated that the worker slightly overestimated the wait time, so that I was pleasantly surprised when it didn't go over. Once I arrived, there was about a 10-15 minute wait before someone was able to see me. John (never caught his last name) called my name, and once he understood what my phone issues were, he did a great job of explaining what he was going to do and then tried all kinds of tests and buttons to help diagnose and fix those problems. Also, I was a bit worried about getting judged for having an older phone, but John made me feel comfortable and not judged at all- in fact, he had a phone from the same year as me! After many attempts at fixing my stubborn phone, I almost thought all hope was lost. John tried one more thing, and BOOM, it went back to its normal self... without having to do a reset and losing any of my data. Of course he hinted that I may need a new phone soon, and yes, I know- but I really appreciate John's dedication to getting my phone back to working like normal. read more

I give these guys full stars because they were so helpful to me in setting up two inherited Apple phones (one for which I brought documentation as the person was deceased and it was complicated for them to wipe that phone to factory settings). Went to pick up and meet with customer service for help with a pair of Airpods Pro 3 yesterday at this store. I called Apple customer service before going in that same day in the morning, made the purchase with the agent I spoke with over the phone and she made the appointment for me at the genius bar at the store that afternoon. I recieved an email within an hour that my order was ready for pick up. I arrived at the store a half hour before my appointment. I recieved immediate attention and within a few minutes I had the item in hand that I purchased. I went to wait at the genius bar and a few minutes before my scheduled appointment a delightful woman came to help me. I had some in-depth questions for her about how to set up the airpods app to work the hearing loss app and how the various settings and features could be used to fine tune it to address my specific hearing loss audiogram. We didn't get to far into in when after 15 minutes the woman helping me said she had to go because I only had a 15 min appointment set up with her. She said, wait a moment and I'll get someone else to help you, and within a minute or so she returned with another person whom she introduced me to and Maria, also such a delightful person, so graciously spent all the time I needed to set up and understand the various ways the hearing aid could be programmed and used to address my hearing loss. The customer service at this store is nothing less than amazing. These folks are so helpful, knowledgable and gracious. They set a standard for what customer service should be at any retail shop. I'm so appreciative of the time and attention they gave me so I could have a full understanding to get the most out of this product. read more

I went in this morning because my iPhone was stuck trying to load. They were able to restore it and now my new phone works perfectly again. i'm very greatful for their quick service and fix for my device. I have at no point ever had an issue with this store. They have replaced faulty AirPods Pro headphones for me in the past and resolved issues in a few other products I've owned over the years. If you have an Apple device I recommend taking it here as they know what they're doing. read more

Worst Apple experience I've ever had. I'm a long time Apple customer. I was totally ignored when I walked in. I had a question about an iPad stand and was sent over to the fitness section. The Apple guy ignored me and was rearranging watch bands. I finally got his attention and asked about the stand. He could not help. I asked if I could purchase the item I had. He told me I needed to go to the order pickup table to make the purchase. I left the item on the table and said I'd order it on line. At other locations the person would just ring me up on their phone. He couldn't be bothered. Apple, you just lost a bit of luster in me eye. read more

I placed an in-store order for Apple Pro earbuds and for an Apple pencil, both top of their line. I was assisted by a staff member who helped me to utilize the $200 rebate I received for the purchase of a Macbook Air 2 laptop last December as well as an Apple gift card. The staff person told me it would be about 20 minutes before I could pick it up at the same store. I waited an hour and finally tried to catch the attention of other staff. I was told they were all busy. Finally, I went up to a group that were, unbeknownst to me, handling in-store pickup orders at a long table. One member asked me for the order number, so I found it on my I-pad. But apparently, the order had never been placed! In fact, it appeared that either (1) the rebate and the gift cards could not be applied to the order or (2) I could only have it delivered, even though a bunch the items were all in stock in the store! I had to reorder the Apple earbuds and pencil all over again. It was not easy at all to find, on my I-pad, the rebate code. Before placing it, the Apple site said delivery would be the next day. But after I placed it, I got a message saying it would take betwen 8 and 12 days for the two items to be delivered! ***** Apple is the acme of High Technology - Computers and yet they can mess up something as simple as buying two very basic items. You just can't walk into the store and buy them with a credit card and an online rebate plus a physical gift card? It takes Apple 9 days to two weeks to do shipping (non-holiday season)! ***** I should have "figured." After purchasing my Macbook Air 2, I set up a virtual one-on-one help session. When the morning rolled around for it to take place, the zoom link either did not work or it simply was never set up (I don't remember which). As a Windows person who has two I-pads but no I-phone, it is important to be able to do basic tasks with the Macbook. ***** It is very loud and chaotic when an in-store class is going on. Why hasn't Apple figured out to use headphones for all the participants, so as to not disturb the vast majority of the people in the store? They do this routinely in big tourist traps in Europe: the guide speaks into a microphone which is picked up by the 20 or so tourists. That way, the latter can hear clearly and the group doesn't bother others in proximity. The Apple Store resembles the Starbucks not so far away. Crammed with users. Not a good experience, though it is true that they do select a sales and tech team that have pleasant personalities able to work with customers of all persuasions. read more

I came here on a hunt for an Apple watch. Fun fact - this is the only King County Apple Store that carries the leather Apple Watch bands. You'd think hoity toity Bellevue would, but nope, they do not. This location is huge! It is also the largest by no small amount. I snuck in the side door and was immediately greeted. Once she learned my mission she led me to the Apple watches where another sales associate helped me. She was great! It was an incredibly fast process as she was able to identify what I wanted, put the order in, wipe my old watch and recycle it, all while juggling helping other customers. She made sure that everyone in that section was acknowledged and assisted during the down times she had with me such as when the old watch was being wiped. I was very impressed! read more

It took 3 visits but I am thrilled with the timeliness, pricing, and communication with my laptop repair. My 2012 MacBook Pro had a service battery light and was fizzing out even though battery would say 40-50% remaining. Long story short. I was seriously considering getting a new laptop. Mine is very sentimental. Gift from my mother before she passed away. But it's a 7 year old laptop. I was prepared to say goodbye. However the Apple staff convinced me it could be fixed for $200. That the turnaround could be fast (need laptop for work). Well. The communication was great. The cost was as promised. On top of that they replaced my keyboard and face plate, so my keypad is all clean and springy again. So happy! And service was with a smile the entire time. Great experience. What a bad experience! How can you build such a big, open, bright, modern store space and ruin the customer service you had at your old (completely adequate) location across the parking lot? Somehow, Apple has managed to do so. Crowded and unorganized. Technicians in a rush and not really able to solve issues. Bad, bad, bad. Had an issue with an iPhone X that suddenly decided to die. It would not turn on. Made an appointment for 11am. Was told on the phone it was probably a manufacturer's hardware defect and they would simple replace the phone for free. Uh huh. We live an hour's drive away. We show up and check in. We wait. And wait. 11:25. Nothing so far. We ask, and they say they are busy but we are in the queue. 11:45. We check again. Ooops. The checkin person had our name right, but the description was of a completely different person, dressed entirely different from us, and of a different race. And someone had already helped them and marked the call cancelled because there was no issue. What? Hello? Here we are. They "fixed" the record and said we'd be helped. 11:55. Still no help. Checked again and were told we were "next to be helped." We saw at least four new people with phone problems who were helped before us--after we were told we were next. Technician finally shows up. No apologies for the delay. It's about 12:15 or so by now. Runs some tests. Takes phone to back to clean out charging port. Returns with phone, confident it's fixed. Nope. Same issue. Takes phone to back again, and the technician next to us helping a new customer takes the diagnostic computer and equipment from our spot because he's apparently too lazy to go in the back and get his own. Our technician returns and has to leave for another almost ten minutes to go and get another set of diagnostic gear because mister lazy stole his while he was gone. Finally returns. Phone still dead. He says it's a defect. We had been with Sprint until three weeks ago, and we paid for AppleCare through Sprint. Ooops. Sprint never registered our AppleCare with Apple, so no AppleCare. What? Will Apple stand behind their product and retailer. Nope. Nope. Nope. No AppleCare (even though we paid for it). They offer us a replacement for about $650 with tax. Ouch. What else can we do? Nothing. Can we get AppleCare on the replacement? Nope. What nonsense. Finally, after well over two hours, we leave $650 dollars poorer and having been screwed by both Apple and Sprint. This horrible experience has kind of changed my tune on Apple. I have never had this kind of negative experience with Apple, but it certainly has me rethinking our family's commitment to Apple. They obviously do not care. At all. We will avoid this poorly run store in the future. We may also decide to avoid all Apple products in the future. That would be a big switch for this Apple supporting family, but who needs this type of poor treatment when paying premium prices for devices. Is Apple dying? Their customer service certainly seems to be dead, so maybe the company is dying too. Perhaps it's time to jump ship. read more

I came here for a screen replacement (cracked & totally functional) & they said they found evidence of water inside & couldn't do a new screen - ok, fair enough...I left & powered the device on and there is a 1/4" white line running down the entire screen now, rendering the device unusable. The store is spacious and feels very open. The employees were all very nice. I had an appointment and was super confused when I entered the store. There isn't a really distinct place you are supposed to go for your appointment. I tried to talk to multiple employees but they were all busy. I finally had to wait next to an employee that was already helping someone. Once I was told where to go and checked in, my appointment started about 5 minutes after the original time. My appointment was quick and we were able to figure out how to deal with our problem. I'd probably try to go to a different location next time since this one was so busy. read more

Major Apple Store for Washingtons north of Seattle. Plenty of products on display. Located in a shopping plaza that has other stores and eateries. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Glass wall so gets plenty of sunlight, seating nearby for those who are have to wait for their party to finish shopping. Store and shelves are fairly clean. Storefront looks great in the evening. Larged cover area in front so you are not standing in the rain. Parking is limited here and there is high traffic during weekends and holidays. read more

I came here to pick up my MacBook and it went very smoothly. There was a lot of staff to help, and I was helped with my order immediately even though it was at noon on a Saturday. It was fairly crowded, and the other times I've visited it has been crowded as well. The ambience is very nice with modern finishes, it even has a live tree inside in a glass cage. The outdoor area is a nice place to relax after shopping around if you can find a seat! read more

o v e r a l l: 4/5 My MacBook was not connecting to Bluetooth so I took it in to get it fixed. I didn't have an appointment and thus was surprised there was an opening within 30 minutes of me arriving there. I didn't mind the wait because I had groceries to run at QFC. I'm not sure about this location, but I've never been able to just walk in for the genius bar and get serviced the same day. Usually, I have to wait for the next day. After 30 minutes, I think I had to wait an hour before someone actually fixed my bluetooth. I didn't mind because I just did some homework. Now, if my laptop was actually not working, being told the genius bar was ready for me and me having to wait an extra hour would have been very inconvenient. After being serviced, an employee apologized for the wait and ran diagnostics. Another employee came to fix my bluetooth. They were very friendly and we made small talk in the short time it took them to fix my Bluetooth. I appreciated that before I left, they had me connect to a Bluetooth device to confirm it was actually working. I would have been so upset if I had taken time to get my laptop fixed, but it actually wasn't fixed. Hello ? Is anyone there? I've been in the store many times over the years... I've had a few good experiences and many more not so great ones. The good experiences revolved around the "Genius Bar," specifically the times when a "Genuis" was able to save an otherwise hopeless device. Although, I will say sometimes the "Geniuses" speak in a way that feels a little bit convoluted and confusing (and perhaps condescending). I once had a guy tell me he couldn't honor my warranty because he found "foreign particles" in my phone. It turns out this was just a fancy way of saying 'your phone is dirty what are you doing?' The real problems became more apparent during COVID and in this strange era we find ourselves in now (in 2022). During COVID, it was next to impossible to get a Genius appointment ---in fact you even had to make an appointment for shopping. Maybe it would be better if that was still the case... I went in this past weekend to exchange a laptop sleave that was given to me as a gift. It seems like this would be a very simple transaction. When I entered the store, I waited for an associate to assist me (they always tell you to wait for someone to check you in). There were Apple employees everywhere. Most were talking to each other and laughing. Nobody was checking in the queue of guests that had formed. One guy was even giving a presentation on iPhone features. He was talking to everybody and seemingly nobody at all (there was nobody gathered around to listen, why present?) After about five minutes, an associate approached me with a clipboard and asked what I needed. I explained that I wanted to make the exchange and he said, "Well just look around and see what you find." I navigated to the small display of cases/sleeves. They only had a few sizes and styles in their display. I looked for an associate to help. There was nobody near the retail section of the store. I spotted a half dozen employees all huddled in a group talking and laughing, and the man who was still giving a presentation (to no one). I waved to try a get someone's attention. It took a good ten minutes before someone came over. She didn't even come to assist me, but she did walk by. When I asked for if she could help, she paused, and then said 'yes'. She seemed annoyed that I had stopped her to ask my question. It was a very complicated conversation and exchange that require a third associate to help me finalize my transaction. It was a lot of time and drama for what could have been a five-minute process. It feels like the associates working here don't want to be here. In the end, I too felt like I was talking to everyone and nobody in particular... read more

1) I called ahead made a morning appointment drove an hour to get there, waited around for someone who wasn't talking to someone, after about 15 minutes, they say my appointment is canceled, WHILE I WAS WAITING IN THE STORE. 2) The sales team is HORRIBLE, and there was some guy who works there in the front of the store and when I asked for assistance, his response was he was teaching a class. Dude there NO ONE in front of him, but just in case someone magically turned up, he just kept talking to a random projection with no one there, instead of taking like 2 seconds to help. He had such a bad/rude attitude. I have been to Apple stores all over the world and normally they are amazing. This one needs to either train their workers or fire most of them. I have never had such bad experience in my life. 3) After I finally got one women who said she would get someone to assist me, she was so also very rude. 4) The only good thing is after that 30 minutes of hell, the last person I talked to was nice and helpful, I don't know what her name is but she is the only person of color in that store that day. I wish I could remember her name, but she was the ONLY bright spot in that store. She helped me figure out what was wrong with my laptop and suggested what I do to fix the Macbook . If I didn't use Apple products so much for work etc, this experience was so bad, it made me not want to use Apple again. But since I need an update on my Macbook Air and want to avoid the HORRIBLE PEOPLE there we are choosing to drive way further to a different Apple store to pick it up. Go to another store if you can, the only thing this store has going for it is that its next to a major university, if it wasn't for that I doubt they would have ANY customers. read more
