I stopped in around 1pm on 11/21 and picked up an online order. The classic bacon burger was entirely inedible. The burger patty was littered with bone fragments. How can you serve this? I found about 12 pieces like in the picture while trying to eat 1/3 of the burger. I gave up after nearly chipping a tooth. Check your receipt before you pay. Three times now I have found errors on my receipts. Saturday evening 03/28/26 we had the two for 25 bourbon street chicken and shrimp which includes an appetizer. I was charge $18.99 each for the dinners and $5.65 for the appetizer. Did not catch the error until I got home. When this happened once before I went back to the restaurant the following Monday. I spoke to the Manager, who acted like it was my fault for not catching it on that previous Saturday. Never apologized. I did get a refund, but it's not worth the drama. Okay, I know it's Applebee's Grill & Bar, so you probably haven't been here since like, when you first turned 21 and found out about the dollar long island iced teas, yet haven't been back since you found greener pastures. But then you recently thought, "Hey! I haven't been to Applebee's in so long! I pass by this place nearly every week, so let's see what's new?" Well, my friends, there is nothing new for you to see here. In fact, I think you should just come here for the happy hour deals when you're 21 and then by 23, try elsewhere, especially if you're trying this particular Applebee's in Bel-Red. My friend and I came here for dinner on a Friday night and the place was packed, including the bar area. Seriously, I had no idea Applebee's was still a thing, at least, in Bellevue. Hey, but I don't judge. That was until I tried the food here. We shared the Cheetos boneless wings and I had the quesadilla burger and added five garlic, parmesan wings for only a dollar. Okay, cool. But unfortunately, it was a mistake to order before the Cheetos wings came out because that would've been the sign for me to stop eating more after trying this started. The boneless wings that are dusted in Cheetos is disgusting. DISGUSTING. I don't have a problem with Cheetos and I don't have a problem with boneless wings, but these were inedible. The Cheetos flavor was barely noticeable. But the worst part of these wings were how greasy and heavily coated they were in the batter. Nope. Then our entrees came and the bottom of my quesadilla burger was drenched in oil, as well as the garlic parmesan wings. The surface of the plates the food were in was oily. So gross! It's one thing to cook in oil, but another things to be greasy. I took a bite of my burger and could only taste oil. The boneless wings may have been worse, as it was a similar sitch to the Cheetos boneless wings - super greasy from the oil and way too much batter, so you barely tasted the meat. More breading than anything else. I truly would never eat this shit again. In fact, later that night I ended up throwing up. You've been warned. The only reason why this place is not one star because our server was nice and all, so it's not her fault the food was horrible. Also, for a drink I had a mango strawberry smoothie, which was wasn't bad. It was sweet, but not bad like the food. My Applebee's days are over. OVER. I was 21 once and that was fun, especially since my stomach was likelier to handle all the grease. Plus, when you're 21 you're just looking for the cheap booze. "Shrink-flation" and false advertising WARNING!!! This place is simply awful. I looked at the menu and selected one of the items which was clearly displayed in the menu. After having finally received the dish, it was so much smaller than what was displayed on the menu, despite being served on the same dish as the one in the menu. The chicken looked rubbery. There was hardly any shrimp. the mashed potatoes were obviously cold. And the overall portion of everything was strikingly smaller than in the menu. When we moved to Bellevue I was glad that there was one close to home! Literally 5 minutes away. I love the calorie count menu and options that are so healthy and low cal! I love and appreciate the free WiFi! They make the best steamed broccoli ever! I want a burger but never get it! We went in around 1:30ish, it wasn't busy but it looked like there was a big party that was coming and I saw one server. We brought our 98 year old sassy grandma in with our kids and the hostess, manager and especially our server was so accommodating, patient, efficient and fun. They worked as a team to support our very busy server and as busy as he was he was so calm, sweet and attentive. He apologized a couple of times and I told him he was doing great. The staff at this location were bitten by the customer service bug yesterday. We went in to just have a snack and drinks while we killed time before a real estate seminar. The guy at the entrance waited for us at the door and had the biggest smile with the most enthusiastic welcome. The waitress was super sweet and she brought everything to the table quickly. Very happy with the meal and service we got from Applebee's tonight! I haven't had Applebee's in a very long time, so I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed my meal. I had Tex-Mex bowl as an entree, and the wonton tacos and wings as an appetizer. I enjoyed the tex max bowl for its price as well as how healthy and clean it tasted. Appetizers were great, with my personal favorite being the wonton tacos. They were a hit for everyone at the table. We had a larger party of 10 people coming in for happy hour and our server was able to take care of us all night. Food and drinks were all brought out efficiently, and any issues or missing items were quickly dealt with. It's greatly appreciated anytime you can provide efficient service to a larger party, especially late at night. Overall, great experience here that has me wanting to visit Applebee's more often! read more
