Nice enough place. Convenient area. Very busy & crowded if you get here later than 4:30, expect a wait. Wait staff is friendly enough. Take out is good. Not too comfortable for larger groups but it can be done. I have young boys so the tiny halter tops could be more of a tee shirt variety, but I'm sure most people don't mind. Consistency is a problem for me. If I order the same dish three different times, it always looks and tastes differently. Sometimes not for the better. However, their steak is a constant disappointment and until they do something about how you have to chew a big hunk of grissle just to get through it, I don't usually want more than appetizers here. Have nothing but good things to say about the food or drink specials but we sat at the bar and the two bartenders that were there were not attentive at all. They never asked how our food was or if it was cooked properly. I don't think that they asked the people on either side of us either. Well I'm not surprised by the low stars for this location. We ordered 3 meals on DoorDash and all should have had fries and coleslaw ( fish and chips) our meals came with no fries, no coleslaw and no tarter sauce. I called them and was told at first that we could come pick it up, then was told they would send coupons to me and then was told they were not responsible for what happens after the food is picked up from door dash ? So basically it's up to the door dasher to open all my food and make sure Applebee's packed it correct? No thanks. Was also told they are out of tarter sauce when we had ordered 2 fish and chips dinners but still charged me for extra tarter and never put any substitute in or bothered to call me or tell the doordasher ? This place is a joke and I've had very good experiences with several Applebee's in the past and used door dash over 40 times and never had any issue. Thank God door dash returned all of my money as we only had half of what we ordered totaling 55 dollars. Applebee's should be ashamed of this location and Alana .... You didn't pack the fries in any of our baskets we ordered or the coleslaw. Stop blaming door dash when they are not the ones that should be opening peoples orders to make sure YOU did your job. This is the average corporate chilis alternative. They have similar dishes to their competition without the good taste. The only reason I ever go here is the fiesta lime chicken. They got my single order wrong three times, even after calling the restaurant itself. The first time, one entree was wrong. Forgivable. I pay for delivery fees and a tip all over again, and BAM - the same incorrect order AGAIN but this time it was missing some of the side. Really loved this location wish I didn't live so far from it. I always order the chicken and shrimp with fried patatoes. This location made the entree to perfection. I had a nice portion the chicken was nice and tender and the patatoes were just right. We had a group of 8 at our table and had the best waiter ever. Normally our group takes 45 minutes to get fed. The food is always good but the service was HORRIBLE! The waitress Erin M was extremely rude and unfriendly. Could not get drinks, so we thought maybe we were supposed to use the electronic order system on the table. She came over and asked us not to because there were 12 people and she was trying to separate the checks which she messed up anyway. This Applebee's in particular has become more of a young bar-scene/hangout than a restaurant. It is packed every night of the week and there is always something going on (i.e. karaoke, beer pong, etc.) I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a comfortable, quiet dining experience with an attentive waitstaff, BUT it is an awesome place to go for all day 2-4-1 and throwing back a few beers after work with friends. Well I finally got a day off and decided to go out to dinner. I choose Applebee's at 43/Cortez. The problem started there, when I walked in I was told to sit here then it changed. I then said where I would like to sit. I was approached about 8 minutes later and was asked what I wanted. I then responded by asking for a menu. My waitress returned and asked what I would like to drink. I asked for a Mega Mug, then after 5 minutes I noticed that nobody was behind the bar pouring drinks. I saw the manager and stated " hey can we have our drinks", the manager ran into the kitchen. Finally a waitress by the name of Veronica came to our rescue, apparently she saw the disgust look for our poor service and offered her assistance. Anyways trying to keep this short, the management has very poor customer service experience while depending on staff to keep customers satisfied. However the food wasn't bad my service by Veronica was excellent. Stacy the manager could take lessons from Veronica on how to deal/ treat people. I would like to file a final complaint with the business for the poor service at this restaurant, if it wasn't for Veronica I would have walked out. read more

Even more below average than a normal Applebee's. I stopped in late after a long an delayed travel day. I interacted with 5 different waitresses, 1 was nice the other 4 acted like I was bothering me or that I should be grateful they were even talking to me. To top everything off no silverware in my to go bag, always an awesome surprise when I finally walk back to the hotel to enjoy a meal I have been waiting 4 hours for. This used to be our go-to restaurant but the last 2 times we've gone, we left dissatisfied. The potato twisters get soggier with grease each time. This last time I went with my son. We both ordered a chicken dish to see which was better. He got blackened chicken with shrimp. I got the napa chicken with portobello, which should be called napa chicken with onion as it was smothered in the onions so badly I could not see the chicken. Other than the amount of onions on our plates (I had way more) we might as well have ordered the same thing. It was definitely not worth the inflated cost. My husband completely refuses to eat there now due to the new menu with higher prices since the location was renovated. The last time he went with me, we left before placing our order. We were greeted by the bartender who got us drinks passed up to another person. I have tried to have a quiet meal in this restaurant on a few occasions and poor service seems to be the only thing that is consistent. The bartender always seems to be more concerned with side work and chatting with her regulars and coworkers. When I want to order...have to get her attention, need another beer.....wait until she's done yapping and paying attention. Last night I order food....she doesn't listen, food comes out wrong, and it's not even met with empathy, rather a take it or leave it attitude. Dined here July 1st, long day traveling from Boston and were hungry by late dinner time. This restaurant is large and was busy but our wait was only 10 minutes. I had a southwestern chicken dish with rice and crunchy taco strips..forget the name of the dish, but it was good. My husband had the steak and mashed potatoes...the steak was tough and not so good. He only ate half of it and I think it is because he was so hungry. But, as far as appetizers go (half price after 10 pm), the artichoke and spinach dip was great and the boneless buffalo chicken was great. In the end I come to realize that if you get take out from the place it's actually okay, last time though when my husband and I ordered take out from here it was a bit of a hit and miss with the food. Some food was warm to hot-ish while others was kinda of mildly warm. Now with that said, I put a time on our order, when ordering online so that has a bit of a factor to it. Food taste was okay nothing to write home about. And the one time that my husband and I went to dine in, again hit and miss, the waitress we had I don't if she was having a bad day or not, but she was just hot and cold, one second she was great and all bringing us what we needed and then all of the sudden went down hill from there. But this time around I ordered two burgers and side salads for lunch and these burgers were TASTY!!. Again folks I think it seems to be a hit and miss with this chain and location. This was my experience at least and not everybody is going to have the same experience like I did because of course of lifestyle and all . But I do recommend getting take out from the place cause I think the experience and the food seems to well not be better, but it does save you the heartache of having to wait in line and all, and maybe not having a good customer service experince, I leave that up to yall yelppers. Yes the manager that happy me working here this night was awful. She was very argumentative when they clearly made a mistake. I was here last night as well and last night I ordered two drinks as well as an iced tea. As always every night is always 2 for 1 drinks at Applebee's and I never order anything different that I normally order. Wow I clearly reminded the girl that was bartending that I've never I've gotten my second drink that I paid for yesterday. So she said she was going to let the manager know. What clearly happened and she had no idea what happened cuz she was not here yesterday. So she said she's going. She's arguing with one of the bartenders here right now. I'm still waiting on the camera footage to be presented to me so I can prove her wrong. He has obviously made a mistake and will not admit to it and she is purposely hiding in the back so she cannot be proven wrong. She has blonde hair and she is definitely a much older woman probably in her 50s. She was very unprofessional by arguing with me instead of doing the right thing and just making up from her mistake from yesterday. She is still avoiding me after sitting here for at least 30 minutes now. She just now approached me here now at the bar and she came out here acting like she was very tough. She said that she cannot see the angle from where it was at the bar. Now I'm sitting here at the bar again and Applebee's and I am looking at the actual cameras that are sitting here. And let me explain something to you right now even though she said she's going to check the camera footage there is no possible way she can check the camera footage from the bar. I wish there was a way I can take a picture of where the camera is and where I was sitting last night. The camera faces nowhere at all. So there's obviously no way she can check the camera footage. This woman must think that I'm stupid but I am actually a regular here. I'm going to report her to the corporate end of this place as well as to her direct manager. This was the worst experience we have had at Applebee's. Ordered the 2 for $20. Received appetizer about 10 minutes after ordering. Then waited another 30 minutes for the main course. Asked one of the waitresses where our order was, and was told it would be out shortly. Another 10 minutes goes by and our food arrives. Both orders were cold, and the chicken was so tough it could barely be cut through. When we spoke to the manager, she was rude and tried to call us liars. Never once received an apology. We've been to this location many times. The food and service is good. I wish they'd get the rib-eye back. That was our favorite steak. They do so much better with their steaks than "The Outback" down the street. Less salt - more flavor. Their broccoli and appetizers are pretty good. Customers like the warm and comfortable atmosphere. We always get a cozy booth. This is a great place to just go for drinks too. They have great deals, and friendly servers and bartender. read more
