Excellent social distancing! Very clean. Left another restaurant due to lack of social distancing, came here after and was so happy.

Hostess had a great personality. Seating was fast ....We ordered soup & burgers with fries. The tortilla soup was way too spicy. The loaded potato soup is good. The burgers were way too greasy for us. The fries were fine. Service was screwed up with the billing not just once but twice and the third time was enough. Paid the bill and a less of a tip because the waitress kept screwing up the bill. Anyway, not a happy afternoon out for a lunch. read more

My wife and I stopped by this Applebee's to grab a quick lunch. We were greeted by a waitress named Corrina. Corrina told us about the menu, the daily specials, and made some suggestions as well. My wife had a Cheeseburger & Fries and I had the daily Chicken Tenders special. We had a very tasty & full lunch. Corrina helped make our lunch a great experience. Used to come here all the time for half price apps when I was younger, and I haven't really been back for years until recently. They have a ton of new additions to their menu that all seemed so delicious. I ordered a new steak dish that they had recently added and it was so good. I like Applebee's, but NOT this one. My husband and I stopped in for lunch. His pasta dish was absolutely tasteless, and my salmon arrived uncooked in the center. My Bahama Mama drink was almost all ice, with very little liquor in it. The bill was $5.00 more than it was supposed to be. Ask for a paper receipt, and be sure to look at it carefully. I was extremely disappointed with my order from Applebee's. The french onion soup was ok , as was the onion rings. The boneless buffalo chicken was extremely dry. I received 2 shoelace sized wilted celery sticks , and no blue cheese dressing. I gave away the mozzarella sticks because they were equally dry. I will not order from then again. read more

I really can't say anything negative about this place, which surprises me for a chain restaurant. We've been 2-3 times in the past 2 months and no matter how crowded, every staff member is friendly and patient--no attitudes at all. The food is consistently good; I love the Weight Watchers and Under 500 selections since I seem to be perpetually watching my weight yet love going out to eat. We most recently went this past Friday night, 3/16, for my Dad's birthday and even though we said party of 4 and were only 2 at the time we arrived they didn't employ any sort of "you can't sit until your entire party is here" which is a huge plus! Service was friendly and efficient and I loved my Weight Watchers salad selection. This is definitely our go-to place when we don't feel like staying in and don't want to spend a heap of money or, for me, a heap of calories. read more

I couldn't even finish my neal because his big fat ass was bumping around on my plate. And another thing, Todd we will never forget you. Things will never be the same. We were there for the free veterans meal last night. Thank you applebees for your generosity. First of all i would like to extend our gratitude to the fantastic group of employees. Katie our waitress was very sweet and very accommodating. There were 6 of us. She offered to give us seperate checks. Most restaurants think you're asking for the world when you ask this. 4 members of our party were late because of an accident. I felt bad tying up the table but the 2 young men at the front were so understanding. They all made it such a pleasure to eat there. The food is fair to good. Nice place pub feel decent prices for a chain resturant. Nice staff fully stocked bar great drink speicals great for football on sundays. The menu is always changing the new sweet potatoe fries appetizer is great always a great place to come when you can decide on what you want to eat for lunch or dinner and they have a 2 for 20 for dinner with a decent menu to choose from. read more

Ok, I used to like this location, but, I went into this location tonight and they told use to leave because of an issue the hostess had with my friend. They live in the same neighborhood and they had a problem and he said something to her. Now they banned him from this establishment. It has been two years since this disagreement and tonight December 31, 2015 these people still won't let him in. This place is terrible at being professional and just sucks flat out. The manager is definitely unprofessional. And needs to be demoted. read more

We finally returned to this place after avoiding it for a couple of years. We thought we'd try out the new menu. Our waiter was great. That's about it. The hostesses were terrible. No smiles when we walked in, no eye contact. Major attitude when we asked for a different table and didn't say anything when we apologized for changing. It made me want to turn around and leave. The food was sub-par for the price. Overly salty, looked like it was microwaved. I'd rather go to Houlihan's, Ruby Tuesday's and Chili's and we will from now on, even though Appleby's is in a more convenient location. Absolutely terrible. read more

3/5 is totally fair. I have had atleast three experiences where terrible wait staff almost ruined the night. And I haven't met a halfway decent supervisor or manager there. But for the most part (save those few times) food has been what you'd expected and the service has been decent. Always solid bartenders - way more consistency behind the bar than on the restaurant floor. read more

$1.29 secret charge for an extra dessert spoon. Super annoying! Dinner was nice, and the updated menu has some good options. Service was good...until the waitress asked me how many spoons I wanted with my dessert because I was with a friend. I said 2 and as she clicked the 2 spoons button on the table tablet-thingy, I saw a charge of $1.29 briefly pop up on the screen. The waitress never mentioned that there was an extra charge for sharing the dessert. Come on, Applebee's I know you're not a 4 star restaurant, but you're better than this. Even worse, is that the $1.29 did not come up on the itemized receipt on the tablet when I went to pay, or on the printed bill they put on the table, or on the email receipt. The dessert only showed a $6.00+ total charge and I would have never have known if I hadn't watched the waitress while she was entering the dessert order on the tablet. Shady! All she had to do was tell me, it's not a lot of money. It's about the sneakiness. I only really go here when I go to dinner late and nothing else is open, but now I'll be looking for a new place. read more

Staff is friendly, for fast food it's good, variety of choices even offering Weight Watcher friendly items. After 10 pm appetizers are good. I like their salad choices and the onion soup. read more

I have been to other Applebee's and must say this one was not up to par. Not that Applebee's is fine dinning by any means, but this one was worse than others. The mozzarella sticks were cold and cheese seemed undercooked. My baked potato was hard and undercooked as well. Now as far as the steak that was overcooked. I asked for medium rare and it was somewhere between medium well and well done. Will not be visiting this location. read more

ZERO STARS... Will never go to Applebees in Brick again so long as the "manager" Craig is still employed by the franchise. My 14 year old daughter and three of her friends went to eat at Applebees on my daughter's birthday, her friends requested a happy birthday song in her dessert the waitress completely ignore this request and did nothing for her - not even bring dessert!!! When I called to complain and ask if this was Applebees policies to Bricks children, Craig specifically told me he didn't really care because for how much money they donate to Brick at Brick Applebees- it wouldn't matter how they treated Bricks kids!! Well Craig... the money you make at your establishment is directly out of the pockets of Brick residence -you wouldn't be able to donate a penny to anybody without our town supporting you - which ends today!!!! Shame on you Craig and Applebees of Brick for treating the children of Brick as if they don't matter- because they do & no very small amount of your donations from our pockets will ever make up for treating the children of Brick as disrespectful as you have!!! read more

Our steaks were overdone, but we decided not to fuss. We were eating our food and did not complain until the waitress asked if everything was ok. We said yes, but the steak was done a little more than we like. She insisted that it would be "no problem" to get us new steaks, and grabbed our plates.This apparently prompted the Manager, Matt, to come to our table. Instead of apologizing, the manager insisted that our food was cooked to the right temperature "according to state law." He also said that he could see that it was cooked properly under the lights in the kitchen. Insulted, we asked him to return our food so we could eat if he thought we were wrong. He refused, saying he would cook our steaks himself, but they would be exactly the same as the food we returned. Embarassed, we threw a tip on the table (our waitress, poor girl, was great) and left, vowing never to return to Applebees, Brick. read more

Where do I begin... First of all, when we walk in the hostesses were too preoccupied in their own conversation to greet us. The phone rings and awkwardly the second hostess walks away we were unsure if that was our cue to follow or what. Finally, we are seated and left looking around aimlessly for nearly ten minutes before being greeted and asked for a drink order. We figure that we finally have our waitresses attention and it can't only move forward from here... WRONG. Our drink order was taken, drinks received and a few minutes after having them we are approached by what seemed to be a manager, but who could tell considering how down right rude he was with no introduction upon coming over just merely demanded to see our ID's. He grabbed them and proceeded to turn his back to us to check them and then returned them and just walked away. I ordered the sampler and asked to sub the bacon quesadillas for chicken quesadillas, which I do many times and understand there is an up charge. The waitress tells me she can not do it? Um ok... To say the least the service was subpar at BEST. I am not sure what was more frustrating, getting her attention or how long it took to get things. We weren't asking for anything crazy, a glass of water or napkins for instance. The plates were never cleared from in for ont of us even upon her dropping the bill. I don't expect exceptional service from a place like Applebee's but blatantly being ignored when you are in plain site standing around or even worse eating is uncalled for.
