I had one beer for $10, one cocktail for $16, and fries for $7. Somehow the total came out to $42, which simply doesn't add up. The bartender wasn't helpful at all and never provided a receipt. When I asked about the total, he said there was an automatic 18% service charge. Honestly, it felt like a joke. He even said the fee was "for staying in to drink" -- which makes no sense. Where else would you drink if you're at a bar? If this is how they operate, I won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Food was great scenery was nice, came here late one night with my friends and family and we enjoyed in very much we were seated immediately upon entering and were given awesome full service, I personally felt like eating something hot (I'm not a rapper though). So as we seated we were given our "books" and I say books because there were multiple menus and insert and in general it was way too crowded to look at everything all at once, that takes a point away. Simply put it, you can't have an over complicated menu, while it wasn't complicated it was just all over the place especially when you have a few members in your party, Applebee's go fix that! I already finished school I'm not trying to go back just to read everything on there and figure the puzzle of which page or book belongs to which. Thanks. Now as you finally figure out what you want to eat, you'll come across the awesome chicken poppers, knockers however they may call them, they are hot buffalo wings with the choice to get extra hot so you can burn the flavor right off your tongue. Luckily I saved myself the trouble and went with Mild. Next time... I then ordered the ribs with fries and holy Pigsus (Pig + jesus = no? Okay). These were damn good extremely tender and I love bbq sauce so they had a tangy flover along with a smoke cooked taste to them, they fell right off the bone, I ordered a full rack because I figured it was worth the money. Honestly i didnt even want to give this one star. DEFINITELY did not deserve it! Everything was all and well when they served us our drinks and appetizer until it was time for our main course. After about 45 minutes of waiting we notified the waitress that our food had not arrived yet. She told us that it was extremely busy so as understanding people, we decided we wait because it was, in fact, busy. My boyfriend and i sat down for anoth 30 MINUTES! making it more than an hour wait for 2 simple pasta dishes. Then I overhear a food runner apologize for giving our food to another table. after those customers ate off our plate, within two minutes the food runner came back out and tried to give us the already picked at food. i went to the manager and told him that it was not the waitresses fault but he should pay attention and make sure things run more efficiently in the resturaunt. my boyfriend and i paid the bill and walked out. read more

The place used to be more or less OK when it just opened and we mostly come here because our kids love their mac and cheese and the activity booklet with crayons that they give out. We went this summer and the first disappointment was that the mac and cheese portion came on a small plate, there probably were like literally 3 spoonfuls on it. My kids are not big eaters and before, I would order them a single portion which came in a bowl and that would have been a plenty, but this time, I had to order two more portions to feed them. Turns out that they fooled us and even when we pressed, they kept on telling us that this is the right size. So, we spent 15 bucks on a plate of Mac and cheese. The service absolutely stinks. I don't know why this place is so crowded. I am never setting my foot in it again. read more

I live in the neighborhood so I come here every now and then and I always hate myself after! I keep telling myself that all the wait staff and bartenders can't be bad. I was just unlucky right? Wrong! I've been there over a dozen times and the service is always the worst. It's bad for breakfast, it's bad at lunch and its bad in the evening. The manager must be going out of his way to hire people with attitude problems. Management doesn't care because they get low brow customers by the truckload and make tons of money. They have lines out the door every weekend! These poor souls have no idea what good service is. Or what clean plates and utensils are supposed to look like. Atmosphere is jus like in regular American dive-in bar:friendly and cozy. The service is on a level -OK so nothing special: waiters are tired, not to much attention to your table. This review is for managers of Emmons Ave location...during COVID please clean your plates and silverware properly!!! We received every plate full of grease and silverware was like just rinsed with cold water after other customer!!! Clean you dishes or change for plastic!!! Or just close you place! Huge Price Hikes, Shrinking Portions, and Missing Ingredients--Unacceptable Value!…read moreI have been a loyal customer of this diner for many years and have lost count of how many times I have eaten there in person or ordered delivery to my home and office. I also recommended this place to many friends and relatives, who then introduced it to others. In the past, the portions were exceptionally generous, the food was flavorful and high-quality, the service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. Unfortunately, my recent delivery experiences have been drastically different. The Mediterranean Beeftiki used to be one of my favorite dishes. Previously it arrived as a very large portion, easily enough for at least 2 people, with 2 substantial, perfectly seasoned beef patties filled with generous cubes of flavorful Greek feta cheese and large pieces of fresh tomato. The tzatziki was included, and the dish was incredibly delicious and definitely felt worth ordering. This time, the $20.95 dish consisted mostly of generic, mediocre quality French fries and 2 small hamburger-sized patties. There was barely any feta cheese and almost no noticeable tomato. The portion was dramatically smaller than it used to be and was barely enough for 1 person. I also paid an additional $7 for extra tzatziki. The photo shows exactly how it arrived: in a small disposable cup filled only slightly over halfway. More importantly, the regular portion of tzatziki listed as part of the dish was not included at all. Had I not paid for the extra cup, the meal would have arrived without tzatziki. The food arrived warm, the pita was fresh, and the delivery person handled the order properly. However, the sharp decline in portion size, ingredients, and overall value is extremely disappointing! I completely understand that price increases happen across the board. What is impossible to accept is raising prices while simultaneously slashing portion sizes by up to 90% and cutting back on essential ingredients. Paying significantly more for a fraction of what was once provided leaves customers feeling completely ripped off. By running a business this way, the management is not just losing me--they are losing the massive network of people I personally brought to this restaurant, who in turn brought their own inner circles. Continuing down this path means losing hundreds of loyal customers over time. There are too many exceptional, authentic Greek and neighborhood establishments nearby that still respect their clientele by offering generous portions, top quality, excellent service, and fair value for hard-earned money.
