We were greeted as soon as we walked in by the hostess AND our server, Olivia. The restaurant is newly remodeled and very clean. Olivia was attentive and friendly. It's obvious she's a seasoned professional who aims to provide the best experience possible. She provided excellent service and made appropriate recommendations. We tried the 2 for $25- I got the 6 oz sirloin with mashed potatoes and garlic green beans & he, the chicken Alfredo. We started with Caesar salads. They had shaved Parmesan cheese and self-mixed the dressing which was great. Nobody likes it swimming in dressing! The steak was cooked medium (although I requested med-rare). I didn't say anything because although it was a little tough, it was juicy and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were ok and the green beans were delicious (& not from a can!). The alfredo is made fresh in house and the chicken is hand breaded to order. He normally doesn't like alfredo but he liked it! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit with Olivia, the remodel and the food. A good representation of the franchise. The waitress was extra attentive and made sure the 3 children in our family party were taken care of, ensuring their meals came out first. We had arrived just before dinner rush on a Friday night, so the 3 adult meals (all steaks) took a bit longer due to a rush on the kitchen. This wasn't too bad since we'd had the "Ultimate Trio" appetizer sampler to stave off our hunger. Due to a mix up we received buffalo boneless wings instead of the sweet Asian wings, but they quickly fixed that mistake. I really liked the crust on the pretzels and the beer cheese was flavorful. I also thought the wonton tacos were especially tasty. I had the Shrimp 'N Parmesan Sirloin with upgraded sides of loaded mashed potatoes and onion rings. The sauce on the steak was flavorful and went well with the mashed potatoes that were topped with nice pieces of crisp bacon. The onion rings had a good breading that was nicely crunchy. read more

Our server, Kimberley, was very personable and kind to us when we visited on 05-31-26. She recommended food choices for us as well as specials that Applebees had going on, she brought refills for us and treated us like she had known us for years. This is our second trip here from the day they remolded and the food isn't that good , the waitress needed to be trained more and the manager needed some more manager skills , you don't say that you could have fixed the problem you should have done so !!!! my last two trips to this Applebees have been the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. I brought my young son with me and we were seated, no one came back for over 20 minutes to acknowledge us. Waitresses cleaned tables next to us and didn't say a word , others were taken care of, but we sat and were ignored. The restaurant had maybe 7 tables filled, so this was inexcusable. Today, i decided to give it another shot. I walked in, stood at the hostess table where no hostess could be found. We were looked at by several waitresses but everyone carried on doing minimal work at 4:30p on a Thursday in a dead restaurant. The hostess came, but ignored us and started doing seating assignments while I was standing in front of her. An older couple walked in and were greeted and sat before my special needs son and I were even acknowledged. The restaurant yet again had maybe 5 tables seated. We did wait 7-10 minutes and left. I'll never be back, it's clear they do not care or have a management staff that oversees anything. I will gladly spend my money elsewhere moving forward. shameful read more

Upon entering the building we immediately smelled smoke and possibly urine. The hostess was away from the stand so we waited a few minutes until someone approached to seat us. We both hesitated but nonetheless we dined in. Our server was a young lady who told us it was her 4th day (she did a good job btw). We ordered the 2 for $22 but with up-charges it ended 2 for $28. Our order included the spinach dip appetizer which came out hot thankfully and I ordered a medium cooked 8oz sirloin steak (which is honestly just not a good cut of meat), a loaded potato (which was covered mostly with sour cream) and steamed broccoli. My SO ordered spicy (it wasn't) baby back ribs, mashed potatoes and steam broccoli. The baby back ribs were definitely better than the steak though. The drinks were ordered included PBR draft beer which was $3, two shots of casamigas tequila for $9.99 each, and a white peach sangria which was $7.99. The parking lot was a bit conggested because people parked weirdly but overall there was adequate parking for the location on. read more

The location is right next to a big center, a little hard to find. This place is the most wheelchair accessible place I have seen ever. The music and lots of TV's kind of set the mood. The sweet tea is not unsweetened, you can taste sweet but it is a very small hint of sweet, mostly unsweetened. The chips with the chese dip are crunchy and the chese dip was good and fresh. It is a calm place, from appetizer to food wait is 10 minutes. There was one lady as a server there and she was so nice and did all she could. I asked for a plain cheeseburger but I got a regular one. I just took it off and ate it anyway, it was burnt while searing and the fries were severely seasoned. The burger was amazing too. The grilled salmon tasted like a classic blackened salmon and the broccoli was cooked perfectly and it tasted fresh. We needed a backup plan for dinner and went to any random restaurant near us. So we went to this Applebees and I wasn't disappointed. Walking in, it was very empty and it sort of looked like they were understaffed. We were seated and it took around 10-15 minutes before we were able to even order our drinks. Also needless to say but it was very dark in here as well. We order our drinks and not too long afterward we get our drinks. I ordered a Blue Raspberry Lemonade (I was craving sugar) and it was a solid 9/10. We then got our appetizers. We ordered cheese bites and spinach dip which were both a 7/10. Finally, we got our main meal. I ordered the four cheese mac and cheese with honey pepper chicken tenders and they weren't bad. I would rate 8/10 for the main meal. You see that one little onion ring? That was the only one on it. You see the picture on the right? If you guys think I'm fat and need to cut down on onion rings after the holidays, I understand... Service was just not on point tonight. I felt like we were annoying the server by asking for the most basic of things such as ketchup and refills. Burgers weren't cooked right nor did they have the proper condiments on them. Never did get a refill or side and weren't checked on once food arrived. I always hate using the button to call the server, but we sat around for about 15 minutes waiting on a box and didn't want to waste the food we had left. Even still, we had to physically raise a hand to get the attention of a worker (wasn't even our server). She even ended it with encouraging us to come back and ask for her because, and I quote, "none of my regulars from my last job followed me over here"...pretty sure I know why. Wish I could blame it on them being busy, but I think it's more likely that that is just how things are here. read more

Today the restaurant was not overly busy for dinner. Greeted promptly and seated, right next to the cleaning supplies (broom, dust pan, bottle of cleaner and paper towels). The menu has been shrunk, not only the available menu items but also the small print. I noticed the increase in cost, but also the omission of meal description and contents. I ordered the Bourbon chicken and shrimp. It was served with garlic mashed potatoes. The chicken was small and only 6 small shrimp. No dinner roll or breadstick served with the entrée. It turned out to be a good appetizer at $15. Service was mediocre. I just don't remember Applebee's ever being so disappointing. Another place off our list. Afterwards we stopped at Culver's for dessert and acclaimed that we should have just gone there in the beginning. read more

This month's drink is BAHAMA MAMA. I visit this place often because you can't go wrong with Applebee's-their menu is tried and true. I highly recommend the wonton oriental tacos, so so good. I always have the house salad which is a step above most restaurants house salad. There are so many different main courses to choose from that I would recommend and of course there is their two for twenty dollars and two for twenty-five that consist of an appetizer or salad, main course, and dessert. But if you've been here to eat, you know that already. Overall this Applebee's has reliable servers that know what they're doing. I recommend this Applebee's if you are in Canton. read more

Our previous experience at Applebee's was questionable but we wanted to give them a second opportunity to earn our business. Epic FAILURE! We were served raw chicken. The server quickly offered us a replacement and returned the item to the kitchen. Upon receiving the receipt we noticed a small discount. We showed the server a military ID and asked if the did a military discount. He was gracious and went to make the adjustment. The manager came to the table claiming that the server had already asked permission to post a military discount. We tried to explain to the manager that the receipt was delivered to the table prior to showing the ID. He began to twist the conversation around and was very unprofessional. It appeared that he was trying to put the blame on the server. The server did his job but the manager and kitchen failed miserably. We are currently hoping we do not get sick from the chicken we consumed prior to discovering the raw chicken. read more

If I could give this restaurant zero stars, I would. There was a 20 to 30 minute wait for a table due to low staffing but available seats at the bar, so that's where we sat. The bartender was not a bartender. I don't even believe they had ever waited tables before. The server told us it was only their third shift working there and it showed. we ordered our food and patiently waited. And waited. Aaaand waited. After 1 1/2 hours, we finally called it. I walked to the kitchen entrance and asked for the manager. I actually heard him moan when he was told I wanted to speak to him. He blamed the screw up on their computer system even though we witnessed food turning out steadily to all the other tables. This was not a computer problem. This was not a server problem.
