I hate this Applebee's & I understand hate is a strong word. If it wasn't for the nice lady who wasn't even my waitress I would have left & refused to pay for the crap I got! It took about 30mins before we got so much as a water & another hour to actually get the food!! By the time we did it was pathetic, sloppy, they had made mistake on the type of chicken so they scrapped it off leaving remnants of BBQ sauce on the plate where I'd ordered buffalo chicken! My kids had like 12 fries! I had to ask for the condiments that are supposed to come with the platter & they were delivered ONE AT A TIME by THREE DIFFERENT PEOPLE!!! By the time one came back with only the ranch I'd have to remind her about the salsa & the marinara sauce then another would come back with salsa & I'd remind that one what else was still missing!! AHHHH!!!! By the time we got everything I was ready to go! The waiter explained that the CC machine was down & they'd have to do my card manually! Like we needed anything else to take forever! I went to Applebees for takeout. My order was correct and the food was great. Will go back.

Went for karaoke night. The restaurant wasn't too packed; there were plenty of empty tables. It took about ten minutes for a server to come to our table. There was some confusion about who was supposed to assist us. I ordered nachos and a margarita. Everything was amazing and tasted really good. The karaoke dj was great. He's interactive and participates with patrons. It was very loud though and hard to hear the server or the other people at the table. There is not ample parking at this restaurant. It's very busy and the parking lot fills up quickly. The location is right off of the highway though and close to a lot of other businesses. My bill was right at $15 for my meal. I feel like everyone that works here has an attitude. and my waitress forgot to bring me a fork; she disappeared for like 15 Min's. so everyone is eating and I'm looking crazy waiting for a fork (no bueno) i was getting mad. its clean though, and she did keep my drink filled. This Applebee's is located fairly close to my job, and therefore, I go here often. I was never really a big fan of Applebee's food, but the food here is on point. It's also pretty affordable if you have a special friend and order the 2 for $20. You HAVE to order the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer! They are always fresh and super cheesy! I could eat a whole tray on my own As a chicken finger connoisseur, I can say the chicken fingers are some of the best I've ever had. My friend and I usually hang out for hours at this establishment. Planned to try a few of the new drinks with my bae and everything was going great. We weren't too worried about eating so we got the big appetizer with a variety. The manager Ricky is rude and unprofessional. I had an phone order filled incorrectly and a previous manager told me to come back for a replacement with the receipts. When I call a few days later for a replacement the new manager Ricky says call new manager who's up the street at a different Applebee's. As he called the other manager he places me on hold for over 10 minutes and never returns to the phone. I typically do not give establishments one star but they deserve every bit of this one star. So my husband and I were having our traditional Sunday date night and unfortunately headed to dinner too late for a Sunday because we had other errands. We googled the times of two of our favorite local spot and they were closing so we ended up at Applebee's. So you see it was not our first choice off the rip. So we pulled up to this memorial dr location and that ladies and gentlemen is the ONLY reason I will give them one star! ONLY because they were open late on a Sunday. So we walked in at 11:13pm and they were closing at midnight. When we walked in there wasn't a greeter and several employees walked past us. So seven minutes later we were approached kinda of rudely. This employee informed us that the kitchen was closing in a few minutes so i politely suggested that we should be seated then. So this employee said it may be little wait. I looked around at SEVERAL empty tables and pointed at one. So he said ok and we followed him to this table. Well the table was dirty so he kinda cleaned it. I pulled my id out right away because I wanted to start with a daiquiri. The bar tender called for last alcohol and the waiter walked right up. Soon as he approached the table he spotted my id and said last alcohol was already called. I said I know she literally just said it and he said yeah but she'll get mad if we put orders in after she call last call. I said instead of debating with me you could be trying to put our order in. He faked walked off and came right back and said I'm sorry no more alcohol will be served tonight she said that's it. I said what's her name and he told me her name was Destiny. This guy was more concerned about upsetting his coworker than taking care of his customer! I was really annoyed so I asked him if the kitchen was still accepting orders. His response was I believe so. I asked him if he could be certain before we ordered. He went to find out and the answer was yes and we ordered. I ordered the appetizer platter my husband ordered the boneless wings. I settled for a strawberry lemonade. It looked like it had been sitting in the back a while because it was separated like it wasn't recently poured (I know it separates) and had crap floating in it! Now it's time to tell you about the food like product that was presented to us...... my boneless wings were not completely covered in the honey bbq sauce and they were cold. My quesadilla had burnt residue from the pan on them and were soggy on the inside. I had mozzarella sticks and partial sticks mozzarella nuggets lol. It was as if they reached the bottom of the bag and gave me what was left. The marinara sauce tasted as if it was stored in the fridge without a lid and it dried out and right before they brought it out they added a few too many drops of water in it. Lastly the tortilla chips that they gave me were stale stale stale! Ridiculous and disgusting and simply disrespectful! Then they cut the music off and an waitresses thought it would be a good idea to stream ratchet music from her cellphone muffled in her back pocket! Like are you serious? Don't get me wrong I love (working out to) ratchet music but there is a time an place for it! Your place of employment is never a good idea for it. I go maybe 3-4 times a year because it's local, and they never fail to disappoint me. I always sit at the bar, and I always wait 15-20 mins to get acknowledged. It doesn't matter how many people are at the bar. The most recent visit I ordered a meal and an adult beverage. The drink was more than half way done before the meal came, and was completely done about halfway through the meal. The bartender never once checked on me or my drink. Honestly, this was the worst dining experience of my life. My server's initial greet was "hi, my name is __________ and I'm not Mexican. Do you want a frozen jack Daniel's?" I had a blank stare because I was still stuck on how he insulted my intelligence assuming I thought he was Mexican or even cared whether he was or not for that matter. I was still was silent. The food came out. I figured the nightmare was over, but WAIT, THERE'S MORE. My boyfriend and I made the dumb decision of utilizing the technology set before us. We paid for our meal using the POS / tablet (whatever you want to call it) on the table and left. Keep in mind we peacefully walked right past him when we left. We hopped in the car and pulled up to the red light. Next thing I heard was "oh, shxt." I turned and looked out the window and there the server was on the highway holding the receipt. We put the window down and explained that we had already paid. His response to our shock was, "I have to come out of pocket for this, I have bills to pay." No apologies, nothing. He appeared to stare at the tag like he was going to call the cops or something lol. At this point the whole thing is funny, but I was furious. What a rip. I live nearby and there are very few delivery options. Recently my husband and I did not feel like cooking, so we used their online menu to go pick up some dinner. I paid with a debit card online. When he went inside to pick up the food (there is no curbside service despite what the ads tell you) he was again charged. The food order went through, but the payment did not. That is what he was told. When he explained I ordered the food online and paid at that time, they claimed it was still unpaid for. He paid again. About $40 for 2 meals. They blatantly double charged us. A few days later we realized we were double charged; $80 for 2 very normal, not fancy, run of the mill meals. No salad. No bread. No service. My husband called the manager to explain; assuming it was a simple mistake. The man said that he would "take care of it" and to "call him at the end of the week" to make sure he didn't forget. Guess what? He forgot! S*H*O*C*K*I*N*G!!!! Yesterday my husband again called the same manager who again said "call me at the end of the week to make sure." He had already contacted the bank and was told this is an issue on the restaurants end. So we are still waiting to see if they will simply refund half of the double payment. I am convinced that the only reason they are still in business is because there are no other "sit down" places near the jail other than fast food. People come to the area to bail out friends or family and have to wait hours. It's easier to do so in an Abblebees than a fast food place. I'll never order here again; as soon as my refund process is complete I'll be contacting corporate. This is a rip off. BTW the food isn't so great / very normal, cheese sticks, burgers, exactly what you'd expect but for high prices / DOUBLE what the menu states, apparently! This is another prime example of a "food desert" where people have limited choices on dining out (for this particular area) and the restaurants know this, so they steal from their own customers, either double charging, giving tiny portions, horrible service, or in our case, NO service! (the website clearly states they will bring the food to your car / they do not). Clear cut case of corporate greed and taking advantage of the public. No account for quality. Abblebees on Memorial: YA SUCK!!!! I will eat a peanut butter sandwich from home and throw the sandwich baggie in your parking lot next time. The place maybe could use an update (hence the 3 stars) but the food is awesome. Still a decent location. Saw some new plates on the menu that I really would like to try. I don't even know where to begin so I will make a long story short by describing our visit. Waited 30minutes AFTER being seated without offering any drinks or appetizers. Got food FINALLY and have no utensils to eat with so had to wait on that The lady I asked jokingly asked if we wanted plastic ware or silverware, wrong timing for that kind of humor Got a plain baked potato with no side of ANYTHING for it. Had to ask for butter and sour cream Steak wasn't cooked right. Was between rare and medium rare when I asked for medium. Also it was tough meat also, had to chew and spit meat I couldn't swallow in a napkin, thinking I'm going to eventually get to some edible pieces I did this about 3 times until I said forget it.. No one checked on us after meal, at all. After about 10 minutes, lady stops by and drops off ticket to pay.. I'm still not even half done eating .. She comes back 5 minutes later with the implication of picking up check. (We felt rushed to pay) never has a waitress done this to us before. The worse part is when they turn rap music on inappropriate for my 7 year old and 9 month old to listen to WITH cursing. Now its time to go! ToGo Boxes please! ZERO TIP! GOODBYE. As far as Applebee's goes this one was one of the best. Great atmosphere for sporting events very casual, cheap drinks and good food deals. I had the bourbon steak which hit the spot it was cooked to order and served with sautéed mushrooms and onions and didn't need any additional seasonings. Service was a little slow, but DIVA Waitress attitude was quick and adamant. Customer Service was Horrible! No ice in ICED TEA and Spinach served on the plate in a microwave plastic bag..(What?) Before leaving I suggested to the manager that his staff needed more training.
