Picking up here needs work. It should not take 20+ minutes to pick up a simple order. They have a pickup sidedoor you can enter but people were exiting that way as well making it difficult to enter. They have a counter with a bell like at a hotel but there was no one there and I was not greeted for a good 5 minutes, no one told me how much longer it would be, she just went to check on it and disappeared for a good 15 minutes. Came in b/c I had a gift card that was going to expire and sat at the bar. Ordered some Happy Hour apptz'r and some to go. Torey the bar tender was super nice, quick and enjoyable to interact with. She seemed to know her regulars as each chair that was filling up she knew exactly what they wanted to drink. This location seemed to be busier than the one I normally go to but they sat, served and turn over the table very quick! The only issue I had was when I asked for extra dressing for to go order (salad) and I was given the wrong dressing.....I should have asked for more when I ordered it.... Great marketing since I saw the commercial and said that's what I want for dinner. However there's a reason why we don't go to Applebee's. I'm not sure if it was his 1st day or 1st week. He seemed very nervous. We ordered our drinks and our food at the same time. I got my drink 1st from the bar but had to wait awhile for my straw. Then the couple behind us came in. They ordered and almost instantly got their drinks and appetizer. We ordered an appetizer but it however came with our meal. Also asked for the quac and sour cream on the side since I can't eat it. Appetizer (nachos) were warm not hot. Endless boneless wings were cold but the fries were hot. Hamburger was warm not hot and fries were cold and hard. Steak was good for an Applebee's. Mashed potatoes were already cold with the hard outside. If you got to the middle they were warmer. Broccoli was the best food on the table. Hot and great favor. Our waiter never came to our table to ask how things were. He basically avoided the table to the end. He would walk by ask the other 2 tables but not us. I think he knew there was an issue and we weren't happy. Bad experience. More so on the food. Again great marketing to get us to go in but unfortunately we will not be heading back anytime soon. read more

Expecting the 2 for $25 entree we were disappointed being limited to 4 entrees. Appetizer was great. BUT, service was extremely slow ( 25 min. for a steak and mashed potatoes and cold string beans. Flavorless mashed, steak too tough to cut or chew. Needed a Cutco steak knife but had to do with the mini-saw they offer. Waited 15 min. for them to take our order (store manager in training), 25 min. for entree to arrive. Toughest sirloin EVER. Two stars because 2 out of 5 times I order to go it's perfectly fine. I often order here primarily because I work in a restaurant at nights and this is the only one open when I get off. Tonight I doordashed it instead of going in which I knew would cause *some issues but OMG this makes me so disappointed. The portion of fries we received was so small I took a picture of it. They were soggy. Had my food been kind of warm ok fine I could live with that but we are talking room temp at best basically cold. I had to air fry everything and then it was just gross. The wait is absolutely unacceptable. 40 minutes to receive food !!! 45 for the people in the booth in back of us and 50 minutes for the people beside us ~ they were extremely upset drink their soda and left. We let the Manager know and all he said was " I came on shift!!" 20 minutes in between each order for the all you can eat !!! This is twice now that this has happened. Ridiculous !!!! So I was running errands on the west side of esco and decided to sample some ribs. It wasn't very busy as the hostess sat me down quickly and said Maria would be by to be my server. I waited patiently and this beautiful woman snapped me out of my mid-day haze. It was Maria C. my server. She knew the menu by heart and soon had my order in to the kitchen. I watched her as she moved swiftly thru her section stopping at each table to either take an order, deliver one or to make sure her customers had everything they needed. Awesome customer service !! Soon my food showed up and it came still hot. The aroma of the BBQ ribs preceded her arrival. The menu said they came covered in BBQ sauce and it didn't lie. I love ribs like that. The serving was larger than most restaurants and they were obviously slow cooked because the meat literally fell of the bone. On one of her many stops at my table I had to ask for MORE napkins as my original ones now rested in a BBQ sauce coated pile in front of me. The Cole slaw was nothing spectacular and the serving was actually smaller than I expected but .....such is life. Those ribs made up for it. It's kinda pricy but it's worth the extra few bucks and you'll agree with me. The fries were plentiful and cooked very good in my opinion. Pale limp fries remind me of a world wide fast food chain and these were not them. Maria probably stopped five times to check on my table and that impressed me. Customer service is a pet peeve of mine and this woman could be a poster for customer service !! My visit was memorable, the service was impeccable and the ribs were thought of even the next day. Applebee's, I am a fan! I was feeling adventurous and noticed there were some new items on their menu so I decided to order the quesadilla burger. It wasn't too bad I really liked the taste of pico de gallo, shredded lettuce, jack and cheddar cheese along with some type of sauce that they call Mexi-ranch, but the attention was focused on what my mother in law ordered, the margarita queso chicken and shrimp which is chipotle lime shrimp and grilled chicken in a cilantro lime glaze, then served over a flavorful combo of Mexican rice, white queso, corn and black beans. Fresh avocado, chopped cilantro and a squeeze of lime, try saying that ten times, this dish was the talk of our evening. It was amazing and so full of flavor like a fiesta in your mouth. I know what I'm having next time I go there, not that! who actually wants a fiesta in their mouth? not this guy. I want something good and to the point. I was really surprised by the service my family and I recieved here. From the get go, we were greeted and promptly seated at a booth, our waitress was helpful and not pushy with having us order. When we finally decided on what to order, POOF! there she was, we didn't even have to flag the waitress down. Service, cleanliness of establishment and not to mention the food, were all excellent. I am very happy with the way things worked out this evening, big thanks to the management at this Applebee's. I never leave bad reviews, but If I could give this place negative stars I would, I know it's not like Applebees is known for great service or food but my god. I tried this location same time last year and had terrible food and beyond horrible and extremely rude service. This year I wanted to try again and stupidly went back. Same as last year, our server was nowhere to be found for so long. Even the couple behind me were asking "where the server went??" I got the queso and it came out lukewarm at best with a film over it like it had been sitting out for a while. I had two of the happy hour drinks and that queso. I couldn't even drink the second drink because I started feeling extremely nauseous after the first drink and some of that awful queso. I'm now at home and have been vomiting for hours... During this visit I came just before lunch rush. The dish ordered came out at a reasonable time and the food was quite good. I ordered the, Perfect Margarita, and that went well with my Mexican dish. The host and server were friendly, and the manager made his round to the tables to ensure all was well. In my past visit's the manager's did this as well, I like to see that. If a customer asks for a substitution that costs you less (dessert instead of appetizer) why not do that? The managers reason was because their system would not allow it. There are always ways to make things work for a customer especially when the accommodation creates a cost savings AND a happy fan of a your customer. This has been my and my friends favorite go to restaurant for years and hardly ever has there been problems..until today The place just opened and they were not very busy we ordered our food came quickly but was terrible and so was the waitress,I ordered a bourbon burger, it came w no sauce the onions were described as grilled and they were not fully cooked to top it all off the burger was really COLD. I stopped our server and said where is the sauce and she said "oh we are out of it " ( why she didn't tell me this when I ordered it I can't say as I would of ordered something else)I then showed her the onions and said the food wasn't cooked and was cold she didn't say a word just stared at me ..my friend who got a chicken sandwich also received cold food and he said it tasted funny ( about 10 mins after leaving the restaurant he became sick. ) we didn't eat the food and the manager apologized and did comp our order . we left the plates of uneaten food and left the restaurant..The waitress actually yelled out to us "did you pay for your drinks?" I couldn't believe she said that when she didn't even say a word about our complaints about the food we only had ice tea not a fancy expensive drink Not an I am so sorry nothing and I had to ask for the manager twice ..I was so disappointed this time and extremely unhappy with the waitress's lack of concern and her attitude. Our expectations were exceeded on getting a table. We were told the wait would be 15-20. We were seated in 10. Not bad. Our server was friendly. Now let's talk the 2-$20. They didn't have a lot of great choices. Their 2-20 is an appetizer and 2 entrees. Chili's is an appetizer, 2 entrees and dessert. For the appetizer we got the spinach artichoke dip. It was nice and hot and the chips were fresh. My friend ended up choosing a Chicken/apple/walnut salad. (she was very happy with her salad. I got the Lime Chicken and my brother got ribs that weren't on the 2-20 but she worked some majic. My chicken was interesting. The rice wasn't really hot and I wasn't really into it. My brother said his ribs were burned the way he likes them. (which he did not order them that way) For dessert we got the lil 2.99 shots. One chocolate and one strawberry cheesecake. The perfect size for not overdoing some huge dessert. (they should include them in the 2-20. Chilis you get a large dessert. The service was great while they were busy. Been going there since we moved out here a year ago but the two times we've gone and had TAYLOR we have had to ask for missing items in our entrees multiple times. It wasn't busy at all so we asked the hostess and she got our items before we even saw him again.. the first time this happened my husbands steak got cold before he brought his loaded baked potato and nobody likes a cold steak. this place over all is 5/5 but Taylor makes it a 3/5 honestly.. next time we will be asking for a different server. On September 14th, we had the most amazing dinner here. Starting with entering Applebee's, we were greeted by Casandra, the sweetest and most professional hostess we have ever encountered. Then our server, Bailey, was fantastic. Her professionalism, knowledge of the menu and bar and her recommendations, were perfect. Her service was outstanding. We never had to ask for refills, she made sure our order was exactly how we wanted. (my order is always a slight challenge, I am vegan and ordered only side orders of certain vegetables). Your manager, Jesus, also spoke with us, very pleasant and welcoming. I threw up in the restaurant bathroom but, still didn't know what was going on...didn't want to blame the restaurant if it was just me. Well, once I got here I opened my container to perhaps take another bite since I'm hungry again and THIS is what I find. Looks like a produce sticker or something. Right in my green beans. It's Applebee's, not a steakhouse! With that being said, we come here for the drinks and keep coming back for the service. If you're 21 (and up) sit at the bar. It is highly likely you will be served by Chelsea or Ally. They're the main reason why we love to go for Happy Hour at least once-a-week! They handle the bar so well. I'm amazed at how they remember everyone's orders. Seriously, go there twice and by your third visit, they already know your order. Managers run the place like a well-oiled machine. The food here is always great . The service not so much . I too my daughter and wife today for lunch . The waitress had no customer service whatsoever and seems as if we were a bother when asking for extra plates to share our food with our daughter . First she brought us a very small plate . We asked for another plate but had to wait until she was done taking someone else order . My wife orders the margarita flight . We asked for tajin on the rim , tha Waite bright the flight and said the bartender had said It's a hard NO on the tajjn . The rim had no salt and only one lemon on one of the cups as if he just pitted them carelessly and called it a flight . Very disappointing , I would not have had a problem paying extra for that tajin. The pace was not busy at all so he had the time to make the flight look decent . I was not impressed by the way we were tended to , especially when the prices are pretty expensive , a descent meal and a decent drink would have been sufficient and made up for the bill. We will be taking a break from this place and I do hope that they get new waitresses or start raining the ones they have in what real customer service should be . Very disappointed . read more

There was one employee in particular named John (Kind of looks like Don Cheadle from Iron Man 2) and he made the experience far more enjoyable than any other of my Applebee's visits. Went in May 11th 2021 Arrived an hour before they closed to get dessert, and two waiters (tall darker skinned guy with long hair, and the other was a blonde girl) started talking bad about us for coming in an hour before they closed. We actually felt so uncomfortable we changed the order to a to-go order. Very unprofessional, who wants to go to a restaurant where you hear the staff talk behind your back. The food review is going to be for the Chocolate Lava Cake. It's my favorite sweet there, but I can't recommend getting it to-go. It wasn't fully warmed up and parts of it were still cold and hard. We had a party of 9, we called 20 minutes prior as we were driving into town. They stated they don't do reservations but guaranteed us a very little to no wait time for our party. When we arrived we were seated right away. The waitress informed us about the happy hour specials which I took advantage of with their white wine. Food was great, I had a steak and asked for it medium rare, and they delivered! Service was great as well. She was very friendly and her drink recommendations did not disappoint. There was a mistake with one of the plates, where they brought out steak instead of chicken but she very sweetly apologized and after a short wait brought the right plate out. They didn't have any burgers, buns, pasta, deserts, etc. They only had appetizers. So we said whatever and got some appetizers. When they came out all the food was cold.
