Came in on a Wednesday night maybe 30 people most at the bar 4 parties waiting to be seated. 30 ur old hostess says they have 1 server 30 min wait bartender standing around hostess not concerned with helping anyone took her five min to walk out to tell us a 30 min wait u it manager just standing at the bar laughing and talking to usuals 40 empty tables but can't sit or order. I have been to this Applebee's location many times! My experiences here have almost always been great. I had great service during my latest visit. I think the thing that really keeps me coming back here is that they make a really good tasting Long Island! Their food is good and with the half priced apps and deals on drinks I like coming here late at night. I, most recently, got a 2 entrees for $20 deal (which comes with an appetizer or side salads). The Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp is what both my dad and I got. We subbed the potatoes out with broccoli and loved everything about the meal! It was cooked and seasoned very well. To me Applebee's is an easy place to go to get the same expected quality of food and service. It's a good and bad thing because they are good to me, but it's almost like there is never any growth. I definitely will be back to get more drink deals and half priced apps. I would love to see some change in the menu more often, but keep up the quality of food going out! Not a very good experience today. On a positive note, upon walking through the door my wife and I were immediately greeted with a warm and professional reception from the manager Michael. After that things went downhill. Our server named Rachel took over 20 minutes to bring two lemonades to our table. We still never found out why it took so long to bring our drinks, it doesn't get much more simple than that. How hard could really have been to whip up something that easy? When she did finally return she brought our drinks along with the table behind us that arrived after we got to the restaurant. If she needed to make two trips in order to bring us our drinks first since we were there first then so be it. Maybe she was just having an off day or bad day. When the food it finally arrived it was prepared to our liking and everything was satisfying in terms of the food. The manager Michael came to check on us and to make sure everything was OK and I thought that was very nice. Michael will do just fine for himself long after he leaves the Applebee's franchise. The menus were dirty greasy and sticking. And you could tell no one paid any attention to the small details around or about the table areas. It was disturbingly obvious that no one had come by and quite a long time to clean and wipe down the little electronic consoles that were on each table. Everyone at this location was nice and friendly. I just stepped in for a quick drink. Great service. No complaints.

To summarize the experience....I would call this location Applebee's MIA. Flavor.....MIA Quality.....MIA Service....MIA My wife and I went there for lunch and had a horrible experience with the food. The people were nice but the kitchen is what messed up the visit. We should have know it would be challenging after we heard a lady complaining as we walked in, "the quesadillas order is wrong again...". We pressed onward to learn our order would be messed up on multiple levels. Bourbon chicken came out sizzling but the onions and mushrooms on the bottom were charred and chicken very dry. I pressed on like a soldier cause I was hungry. Wife salad had hair in it. Server replaced it with soup. Soup was cold and the beans were very hard. Another fail. Then her hamburger came out with my dish but it was very cold. Third fail. At this time we were done with this location. To the servers credit, she removed my wife's food from the check. My wife and I have been frequent visitors at this location over the past two months. In particular love the salads and sirloin steak dinners. Normally, on a special day such as Valentine Day, we would go a bit more up scale but loving the sirloin, went with this Applebee's because we thought we knew the establishment. What a mistake. The meal salads were, as expected, very good. But the steak/e. broccoli/w. mashed potatoes dinner simply were awful (surprisingly so). Both steaks were very well done (ordered medium rare), the broccoli totally overcooked to a mushy texture, the potatoes OK. Service was excellent. The waitress did offer to obtain replacement meals but we simply were out of time. I would not say these meals are representative of this restaurants quality. But meals of such low quality should never ever get through the service doors. Whoever was on the grill simply was incompetent and obviously no one was checking the final quality of what the kitchen offered. We will be back but sure hope this was an exception and not the new rule. read more

My husband and I just moved here to Fishers. We needed a nice peaceful lunch and Applebee's was the only grill open. The Applebee's I've visited over the years have kind of disappointed me however we wanted an afternoon Margarita. This was his 2nd time ever going to Applebee's and he is a chef so I was concerned. Well we walked in and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Super clean table and new menus. Just what we needed. Angela came, greeted us and we sat. It was right at noon so they were getting things going. Angela smiled, she was very helpful gave advice but allows us to take our time. Very attentive. The drinks and water arrived about the same time as the appetizer. Drinks AWESOME. The food was so delicious fresh and hot. The spinach dip was awesome chips and salsa awesome. We had the wings which were delicious. Plated neatly. My husband ate it all!! Not one complaint, whew lol. The manager brought our food bar tender the drinks. They flowed really well which was a wonderful thing. We will definitely be back and make this our regular spot. read more

My husband & I love Applebee's. We go to our local Applebee's all the time. So, much so they know what we like to eat & drink and usually put our order in as soon as we seat down. However, this Applebee's is something else. They turn their lights off about 10:30pm (EST) so people think they are closed. The parking lot was completely dark with very few cars in the lot. Knowing that they were open because we placed a online order we processed to go in to pick up our food. We waited around the host area for about ten minutes, along with another small group of people waiting to be seated, as the service staff walked by us without acknowledging our presents. This is not the first time this has happen at this Applebee's. Then when we got back to work, as we were at work ordering lunch. We set down to eat and half our food was not there, this happen the last three times we ordered from them too. We will not be going back to this Applebee's, which seems to be what they want, people not to come there. read more

Very pleased with the heresy service from Hannah last night ! I was with my son and my friend and her two kids. She was absolutely fantastic and so kind to us all! I used to work at an Applebee's during college so you would think I wouldn't go near one now. Au contraire my friend. I love their menu because it has something to make everyone happy. My absolute favorite is the white chocolate walnut blondie which comes on a hot skillet, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and then a small serving of this maple butter sauce to drizzle over the top. I am not sure what's going on with this Applebee's. We have been customers for years. Customers walk in and are ignored, and after an uncomfortable period of time They will finally acknowledge them only to let them know they cannot seat them or it's a hour wait Hoping they just leave. Now this would seem reasonable if the place were very busy, but literally there were only 10 customers in the entire restaurant if that and 5 were at the bar. This is at 6 o'clock on a Friday and Saturday. It's everyone working there including the manager that doesn't want to work. They seemed to be happy to not take anyone in at all. I love Applebee's, and I've been to this one numerous times, but tonight's experience was awful, and the manager made it no better. The bartender was doing double duty. When we walked in just before 6pm there was only one table being used, and a few patrons at the bar. Once we were seated (by the bartender), we waited for our order to be taken (by the bartender). We saw, what I believed to be another waitress come out very sporadically, to help. Turns out she was the manager. Admittedly, the food is always pretty good here, but the service is far from exceptional. I didn't mind when the waitress/bartender forgot my order of wine, because after all, she's balancing two jobs. But when the "manager" came to help me with paying (I'm not an idiot), and then I found myself waiting quite a while for a printed receipt (which we asked for from the bartender/waitress), I thought "that's enough". They weren't even crowded. But one person is doing the job of several. God only knows what's going on behind closed doors. Thankfully they have a decent kitchen staff, because it makes up for the lack of performance in the "front of the house". Thanks you, hostess/bartender/waitress. If not for you, we may have well been there much longer!!!! Will not be back again for a long, long, long, long time. read more

The only thing I really like about this place is their mudslide. They just do it right. However, I will pass on the buffalo wings even if the menu says they have the best in town. There wasn't enough sauce at all. It was dry. The buffalo sauce doesn't have enough kick to it. Even a 5 year old can eat it. I ordered their new strawberry salad with chicken. The strawberry didn't taste fresh. It felt like it was soaked in sugar and water to make the fruit last longer. I ordered a basket of garlic bread and it wasn't good either. However, they have fresh brewed sweet tea so I was a happy camper somehow. My husband ordered one of the sizzling plates with bourbon in it. It was just ok for him. Will probably come back again not for lunch or dinner but for their happy hour. Past 9 PM, their appetizers are 1/2 off. With their delicious mudslide, it will be worth a visit. read more

No two visits are the same even with the same staff. We went here on a Sunday afternoon and had great food and service. We sat in the bar to watch the game and the service was great. Attentive, but not clingy where you can enjoy your party. Two days later went back and where things different. The wait staff and manager where standing around holding court and not paying attention to paying attention to the needs of the customers. Several orders were sent back. I used the carside to go today and was not disappointed. My server promptly arrived at my car and I was there no longer than a few minutes. The food was piping hot and delish. The only complaint I have is that the burger was not cooked correctly. Bacon, onion and pickle are supposed to be seared into the burger, but there were just a few bits of onion and a hint of bacon on the bottom patty. I love Applebee's. my hubby and I used to go there for dinner, but not this location. We were hungry today, and we were close to this location. So we came here! So disappointed! The waitress came to us after we sat down and asked what we love to drink. Neither of us are drinker, so we just ordered water! I guess their water is precious or must fresh from some mountains, because it took her 20 minutes to bring two glasses of water! Then, we ordered our food and appetizer. Again, another long wait! The waitress finally brought our appetizer, but, we didn't have any silver ware on the table! NONE! We had been sitting there for almost 45 mins and no silver ware! So I asked for it! After she brought our silver wares, no plates. She just brought one plate with our appertizer. And then she asked "you need another plate?" Excuse me! We had two people, what do you think, Lady? I took my family out to eat a few weeks ago at the local Applebees, in anticipation for the half priced appetizers. Right off the bat we were seated next to some drunk college students who were taking advantage of the $1 margs special. They were chanting "Applebees Pregame!" and were being served margaritas two at a time. This was the first sign that our Applebees experience was going to be a disappointment. While my wife was skeptical about our seating location I told her not to worry, the low priced appetizers would help us forget about the rambunctious young adults. Boy was I wrong. We got our appetizers, then our main courses. The food was good, nothing to write home about, but it was good. When I received the bill however, it did not reflect a discount on the appetizers. My wings were listed as costing $10 with the discount when the menu listed that as their full price. I spoke to the server and he assured me that this was the price with the discount. I then asked about the $12 price tag on the nachos and he told me they aren't eligible for the discount despite the fact that on the menu it does not state such. After much deliberation with the staff at Applebees I paid the full price for my "half priced" appetizers and left the restaurant feeling scammed. To add insult to injury, in the parking lot of Applebees, the same drunk college students were now playing their own version of "American Ninja Warrior" and I had to explain to my 8 year old that he couldn't go and play with them. I would not call my experience at Applebees a good one and I warn any family that plans to go there to look into more family friendly dining options. Also make sure you read the fine print before ordering the so called half priced apps. read more

I hate to trash this place because of one server and host but it was awful. The host guy was almost annoyed at our arrival and the wait staff wasn't better. She said what do you want to drink and left. They have this promotion that if someone doesn't ask about their martinis they get free mozzarella sticks. She said it doesn't apply here. I recently had been craving a triple chocolate meltdown from Applebee's and my boyfriend wants his usual steak and mashed potatoes! We ordered to-go online, and was told our order would be ready at 10:57. We got to Applebee's at 11:05 so we were sure we'd be able to walk in and get our food right away. Turned out to be complete opposite! I waited about 5 minutes in the entrance with no greeting, one waiter walked right pass and cleaned off a table so I went and stood closer towards the bar & still nothing from anyone! Not a simple greeting from anybody. It was basically like I didn't even exist. Finally after about at least 15 minutes a boy approached me and asked if I had a to go order, I told him yes and he said he'd check on it, he came out with my food and apologized for the wait. Then we get home way later than expected for only a few items. We ordered the steak well done which means no pink and got what we didn't ask for, pink! Lots of it. All around a bad experience and we will not be back to this location any time soon. Our cravings will have to wait until you guys get friendlier, more welcoming staff that can be a little considerate. read more

My boyfriends and I went to this Applebee's on Friday 10/23/2020. I ordered the Mac and cheese with the honey tenders and when they brought it out, it had bacon in it. The menu did not include bacon in the description which was just a small misunderstanding. I had explained to the server (Zach) that I do not eat bacon and before I could offer a resolution he rolled his eyes and huffed and puffed saying "well what do you want us to do then!?" I tried to explain I needEd a menu and before I could even speak again he said "idk what you want we can't make it without bacon" and stormed off. I was super caught off guard bc I didn't think it was a huge deal. That was some of the most bizarre behavior I've ever encountered. I work in kitchens so I understand when these things happen. It's not the servers fault but he was EXTREMELY rude to where I ended up not ordering anything else. Our main server Jenna came over and apologized for his behavior as and was very sweet and understanding. I will never patronize this Applebee's ever again due to the unprofessionalism of the staff. My wife and I stopped in to grab a quick dinner before a movie just across the street. At 6:05 PM we arrived at the restaurant. We were seated immediately, in the bar. A waitress did not make it to our table until 6:18 PM. We explained we were wanting to make a movie and Asked if she could expedite a couple of hamburgers. She took our order, indicated she would rush the order, and also took another order of a couple four tables away from us as she went back towards the server station. At 6:32 PM, the neighboring table received their food. At 6:45 PM she returned to our table for the first time. We still didn't have our food. We reminded her we were trying to make a movie, and had been in the restaurant 40 minutes and had only received water. We could hear her yelling at the cooks as she went into the back room. At 6:52 we received our food, which was blazing hot. Of course, we had no time to eat it because we had to get to the movie. We receive no consideration on the bill for the delayed delivery of our hamburgers. By the way, this was hamburger night, so ordering a hamburger shouldn't have been a big effort to fill. The restaurant was 40% full. I paid full price for a meal I couldn't eat for another 2 1/2 hours after the movie ended. I even left a tip, though admittedly not a very large one. Overall, it was a pretty disappointing effort from a service perspective in the establishment. read more

I am starting to notice that the standards of Applebee's are starting to slip, Sunday night was a disaster from start to finsh. The good: the pretzels and beer cheese were awesome, just hoppy enough to know there was beer in the cheese but not so overwhelming that you couldn't taste the cheese. Get the pork chop if you have a chance, it was moist, tender, and just a hint of smoke. The bad: service standards have fallen off the map. Our apps made it to the table before our drinks. We watched our beer and bloody Mary die in the service bar before our eyes. Instead of pulling a fresh beer from the tap the bartender stirred my beer to put the head back on it. The table behind us actually walked up to the bar to retrieve his beer before it had the same fate as mine. Mind you there were less than 20 people in the restaraunt at the time. The brunch burger was a greasy mess that sat in the pass under the heat lamp as the plate and top bun were were hotter than the patty and fries. The potatoes that accompanied the pork chop were raw the first time and burned the second. Our server was more than apologetic and for that we thanked her. The ugly: we watched the manager taking selfies at the bar with the bartender even after we asked to speak with him. All we wanted was an apology and to bring the shortcomings to his attention so theu could be improved in the future. Instead he hid in the back and took a $5 off the bill. Went to Applebee's today for quick lunch. I was having a not so good Wednesday to say it nicely. I sat at the bar and ordered lunch and a cocktail to relax for a minute. The bartender was awsome. She talked to me and let me vent briefly, offered food and drink ideas. She made me smile for the first time all day. After a nice lunch I notice my debit card wasn't in my wallet. I left her my ID and said I was gonna run to the bank and be right back. She was cool, didn't seem the least bit worried I wouldn't come back, even though we just met. I was back in 5 minutes and covered my tab along with a good tip for her wonderful service. Just want you guys to know you have an exceptional employee at your facility. We have visited Applebees numerous times, as it is not far from our home. Last summer/early fall we visited and there was an electronic pad that the kids could play on - first, we thought we'd never return, as they both argued over who would get to play. The next visit, we just grabbed another one from a vacant table so both children could play. Yet another visit, the children played on the tablet as well. This visit, a charge appeared on our receipt for $0.99. When I asked about it, the server asked if the kids played a game - I said "yes" and explained the numerous times they played with no charge. The server apologized and said that perhaps it was on "demo mode" - as possibly the first couple of days they were trying it out, the demo mode might have been on. I explained - we never paid in the past, and this was the first we had ever known about any fee. Our server said she would talk to the manager. The manager appeared (wearing a red plaid shirt -not too professional) and asked what the problem was - I explained again, as I had to our server. The manager said she was sorry, but there would be a charge and there was nothing she could do about it. I asked again - in disbelief - so you are charging me for this? She said "yes" - I told her I would take it from the server's tip - and she said "If that's what you feel you need to do". I then said "We will NOT be returning" and she again (as she was leaving us) said "I'm sorry". This is by far THE WORST experiene I have EVER had at this Applebees. It seems Applebees is getting AWAY from customer service and becoming self-serve (pay on the tablet) - next, people will have to cook their own meals! HORRIBLE! And nowadays with Social Media - Applebees (any restaurant) can't afford treatment like this!! read more

Very disappointed tonight with our service! Our servers name was William and he greeted us and ordered our drinks along with the the breadstick app. We got our drinks and waiting a while and then out comes our food. The server who delivered our food stated did you guys have the chicken fingers and salad we said we did but we didn't get our appetizer. So she took it back and our server came back out and said sorry the kitchen is backed up. Mind you the dining room was not full. So he came back and brought our app out with him he then stated if the kids dont like the app I can bring their food out and before he could walk away here comes our food! Our appetizer was hotter than our food! I had the quesadilla burger there was chicken fingers and apple sauce a Mac and cheese and apple sauce and garlic mashed potatoes for a baby and a oriental chicken salad. They brought all the food minus the mashed potatoes we had to wait for them. The Mac and cheese had been back there sitting as it was luke warm. The chicken was fried but it was cold We finally got the mashed potatoes and for us having to wait they were warm. We noticed the manager visit the tables around us but never came to our table because he knew the server messed up. We asked for our checks and paid for our meal as we were standing up to leave the waiter comes back and grabs the books bc he doesn't want his pens to get stolen. I'm sorry but coming from a server background that is the rudest thing you could do! Needless to say we won't be back for a while. read more
