Great place to socialize Most people are too hard on Applebee's. They never claimed to be a 5 Star restaurant. They're a great place to have a drink and a cheap meal. The Applebee's After Dark is cool. They kick on black lights, offer specials and half price food... I just wish they'd stop playing Brittany spears and justin beiber.. Its a BAR applebee's... why are you playing teen music? Other than that, its a lot of fun. the staff is always happy, conversational and often will give ya free jello shooters or other stuff if you sit at the bar. The only reason this got a 2 star was because of our waitress who was awesome. Anyways We went there for dinner last night a family of four. The wait was not bad 15 minutes as it was 545. We got our table and we ordered. One of our meals came out and it was hot. We waited for the rest of our food and 15 minutes later one more meal came out and it was warm but not hot. 5 minutes later the rest of our food came and it was cold and mostly not edible. We were there when they had a special all you can eat night. The food was good but was not hot when delivered to the table. Our daughters got the Brocolli Chicken Alfredo and the portion was not even close to what was on the menu picture. They ate it anyway, because we thought that it would spread out more. We were wrong in assuming so. The special was good tasting but not hot when receiving at the table. Was at a special event with my folks and did not want to say anything that would embarass them. I have been to this establishment before and received food that was hot on deilvery. I hope that this is not a precurser to how things are go to go from now on. We went to Applebee's with a friend and noticed the size of her seasoned broccoli order. It was very tiny, in fact the smallest helping we had ever seen at Applebee's. She was kind and wasn't going to say anything, but we felt that the cost was not equivalent with the amount of broccoli that she received. So we complained. Seemed like it took forever, our dinners come, no coleslaw and I get two small pieces of riblet. My GF gets a good bit of chicken. So we ask for coleslaw and more drinks. We never got another drink. Had to ask for water. It's mixable so we ask for shrimp, we each get four pieces, no more fries. So, I just went to this Applebee's and they have outdoor seating. The service was good, the food was very tasty. But the whole setup was a mess. I was sat on an edge by the tent and it was very windy. So the tent would move around and they weren't even attached to nothing. So it would've been luck that the whole tent didn't fall down to all of us eating. I just think that they should make sure that if they're going to offer outdoor seating, to have the proper setup and to ensure safety. read more

we went there today but it was so cold in there. I am on oxygen and have a hard time breathing in the cold. My husband was wearing a sweatshirt and he was also very cold. It felt like 40 degrees in there. We asked if they could adjust it but they didn't. I am only giving this place a 5 star review because they hired a FANTASTIC employee named, Randall. He showed me and others (a group totaling 8 people) so much enthusiasm and professionalism. Only half of us ordered food, so I understand a lot of servers would be pretty annoyed with that. But Randall was incredibly kind, joyful, and excited to serve us. He performed his job incredibly, and because of that, we tipped him well. We all agree and would look forward to seeing him again. The service was comically bad at the bar. Bartender was incredibly rude for no reason, despite me being perfectly polite the entire time. She ignored me until I finally (politely) flagged her down to order, which was apparently the worst thing I could do, since she was clearly upset with me and decided not to ring it up. 10 minutes, several orders and laughing conversations with the other bartender later, she finally said angrily, "What did you want?" You'd think I'd killed her dog or something but all I did was come in and sit quietly. I have the utmost respect for the service industry. I rarely tip less than 25% and in the holiday season it's usually 30%. 10% is my bare minimum tip and I've only done that a total of 5 times in my 40 years. That's what she got, to the penny. The service was THAT bad. You'd have to literally stab me to get less than 10%. I guess I should at least be glad I wasn't stabbed, but she sure acted like she wanted to. read more
