I have never been to Applebee's. This was my first visit. First the hostess allowed an entire party to take up and crowd the exit preventing any person from reacting in an emergency situation. Easy solution have one member from such a large party inside notify rest of party when tables are ready. Now back to the bulk of the review. The wait was about 10 minutes then we got a booth(sweet). I ordered the chicken broccoli alfredo. The sauce was bland, the chicken was amazing, and the broccoli was good. For the meal itself 2/5 brapples. The waitress was a nice young lady who was very personable and got along well with us. She was juggling a few tables and still managed to get a decent tip out of my mom. She was good imo. One huge complaint, 9/10 ice 1/10 lemonade doesn't make this guy a happy camper. Besides that it was okay I don't think I'll be going out of my way to go back. read more

My family hasn't been here in a very long time for these reasons. We thought it might have changed. Boy.... were we wrong. We arrived and were seated right away, our waitress was very pleasant and on top of it. Our order was taken... then everything went wrong. Our appetizers were given to the table behind us, so we had to wait for more to be made, my brothers fork had crusted food on it, my veggies had to be re-made because they put some sort of sauce on them I cannot eat, the steak was extremely lacking any sort of flavor, and last but not least. My sisters food had a long hair wrapped in her green beans. The manager came over to the table and comp'd our meals. She was awesome and so was the waitress. That is why they received only one star. went with a party of 4 and 3/4 of us shared the nacho appetizer. the 3/4 of us that did were left feeling absolutely foul. we all had bubble guts & 2 of us puked. the sour cream that came w the nachos and quesadillas we ordered definitely tasted sour as heck. our server was very inattentive. we told him our coffee was bad and he chuckled and it felt like he KNEW it was foul. the tea? rancid. like, if your stuff has been sitting out all day S A Y T H A T. we went as a group to have some fun later in the night... not to all text the group chat of our literal food poisoning symptoms. when i gave him my ID he had to bring it to a manager because it was vertical (that's fine and dandy) when coming back to give it to me.. he walked past our table and almost gave it to another table.. i ordered one watermelon something brewtus drink, i know they're tall and supposed to have a decent amount of alcohol in it.. but damn bro i didn't know i was getting a 3 for one special on that. also, when asking for a box.. he took 10 mins to give us boxes.. and he had to go back because he grabbed us the wrong sizes... for anyways, definitely don't go here if you want to fully digest and enjoy your meal. read more

I've been here in the past and it was always pretty good for the price. Today I ordered curbside pickup and was disappointed with the food. The service was great. I ordered the mexican chicken wrap or whatever it is called, and it didn't meet my expectations, I expected grilled chicken breast (I probably interpreted it wrong), but the chicken I received in the wrap was some sort of inedible chicken with gross bites in it. I also subbed the chicken tortilla soup for fries and the chicken in the soup was also inedible. It also was loaded with zucchini which I absolutely hate but nowhere in the description did it say it was full of zucchini. I will be back but probably will only order the classic cheeseburger or whatever they call it and maybe onion rings and, of course, a margarita, which they do a good job of. At least they did the last time I ate in the restaurant. So, overall, I would say your experience depends on what you order. read more

Arrived at 5pm on 7/2/2022. Just me and my 9 year old son. We're seated pretty quickly. Then sat at our table for 15 mins with not even a greeting from anyone. Table next to us had their waitress stop and talk to them 3 times while we waited. Finally Kyle our waiter that looked like he crawled out of bill and teds excellent adventure finally apologized for the wait. Even though he was not seen once in the 15 mins we were waiting. Ordered our food, and brought out by a pretty unpleasant other staff member. Food was decent, nothing spectacular. Kyle is still unable to be found, we got halfway through our meal before he stopped bye again to ask how our food was. I saw Kyle at least 8 times walk by and not say anything to us before checking on us our only time. We then finished our meal without any drink refills or anything else. While the waitress serving the table next to us checked on them at least 10 times. Kyle, walked past us at least 5 more times without even saying a word. I never said anything to him except ordering and wasn't irritated at that point. I figured we'd have this experience when I saw Kyle with his shirt half untucked and half his back showing when we met him. Kyle probably needs to look for another job, maybe cleaning bathrooms or something. Only time in 10 years I left a zero tip. read more

I ordered carside to go. I got nachos and the pick 3 appetizer sampler. It seemed like the nachos were made first because they were so soggy. I was very disappointed. I ended up just throwing them away. The cheese sticks were ice cold. Only thing that tasted ok was the pretzel sticks and beer cheese. If I could give zero stars I would. Came here after being stuck in the tornado storm thing in Olympia. Pretty good food. First time to an Applebee's. We finally got one in Hawaii but haven't been to that one. Had the watermelon sangria which tasted like watermelon puckers and sprite so it wasn't that good. Service was decent. Will try the Hawaii one soon. read more

Myself and several coworkers got food poisoning from here Tuesday night. Money was refunded but this is unacceptable.

Ordered the reserve 12oz sirloin with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli car side to go service. The server was really nice, steak tender but the mashed potatoes.......more like potato chunks! Got home to what seemed as a half boiled potato that wasn't mashed at all and not tender enough to mash myself. Applebee's you disappointed me yet again. read more

Crazy to see all the bad reviews, I guess we got lucky, because we had a fantastic visit. We were driving on I-5, and when it turned into a parking lot, we pulled off ahead of our original destination for dinner, and went to the first place we saw, which happened to be Applebee's, so it was completely unplanned to come here. We were greeted at the door, and it was held open for us. We were seated right away, so right from the start we were welcomed, and after being stuck in stop and go traffic, the stresses from a long drive melted right away. So many people don't realize how important first impressions are, so I'm glad that this place put us in a good mood from the minute we approached the door. Our server was absolutely fantastic! Ok, I know that this may sound crazy to some, but my biggest pet-peeve is when I go out with my husband, and kids (one who is almost a teenager by the way), and our server offers my husband a beer, and then they offer me lemonade or a soda, I hate it. Our server offered both my husband and I a beer, or a Margarita right off the bat, and then flattered me by carding me, he won me over right there. The margarita by the way was very refreshing, and good. I'm a bit of a food snob, so it takes a lot more than that to get me to give a 5 star review. Our sever just continued to nail it through-out the whole meal, he had great suggestions, was very friendly, and timed everything just right. He was on top of drink refills, and checked up on us more than once, and the timing of it all was perfect. My husband and I shared their spinach, and artichoke appetizer, and I can't tell you how many times we order that, and it comes out cold in the middle, but it was perfect, and stayed warm to the last bite. I ordered steak, and I was worried that it wouldn't be cooked right, and it was perfect. I'm not a fan of blood gushing out of the steak, and ruining the rest of the food items, but I still like it to be pinkish-red. I was impressed that they nailed it, it was perfectly moist, and tender, it had great color, and was not over-cooked. The whole meal was served at a perfect temperature. My son ordered a burger and fries, and was very disappointed by the amount of fries, but thought that the burger was very good (although the presentation of it was a little lacking). I called the manager over to tell her how impressed we were, and we found out that it was only our servers second day. I think that our server was amazing, and it shows that this location is very good at training their new employees, and that's a good feeling, shows that they care, and leaves me feeling more comfortable to dine there. Everyone in our family is so different, that it's hard to please everyone sometimes, and we all left feeling very happy that we came. We have never left a Applebee's looking forward to coming back, and this location will be a new stopping point while traveling in the future, and I really hope that Braden will be our server. read more

What is an Applebee? I will never understand why this place is so staggeringly popular. There is always a line out the door while numerous, better, similarly priced restaurants have no wait at all. I used to go to Applebee's a in high school before I realized that some restaurants were a lot better than others. After years of Applebee-free life, my wife finally convinced me to go back a few weeks ago. I got a pasta chicken dish and she got a burger and fries. Neither was very impressive. You could get a better burger almost anywhere, even Carl's Jr or Burger King. Fries were blah. I could get much better pasta at someplace like The Rock. I guess people go here for the bar. There were some guys there that had definitely had a few drinks already (one proudly told me so while in the bathroom), even though it was just before noon when we were there. MAN this place is popular. Old people, young people, families, military folks, some really old dude on a date with a much-younger-yet-still-pretty-old woman - all lined up out the door. I had - what else - a cheeseburger, and the waitress asked if I wanted it pink or well done, and I chose pink, and it came pink. It was pretty good, too - standard cheeseburger pretty much exactly like you'd expect it to be from a place like this. I turned 21, eighteen years ago. Never ever EVER, until this evening, have I ever been to an Applebee's location where I never got the food I ordered and it took 52 minutes for my very first drink to arrive. The reason we never got our food is because we actually left after getting zero food, no appetizers, nothing after one hour and thirty three minutes. Waited over an hour for food that looks and tastes like it's been sitting under a warmer for the past 30 minutes. When we finally received the food one of the steaks were overcooked and we asked if it could be remade, the extremely rude waitress (Sarah) asked us if we could just eat it. Please just make my food to order and save me the hassle so we can avoid the argument. The fries on the other orders were extremely cold and the only positive thing I can say is our server was AMAZING. I believe his name was Matthew and he did everything he could to help remedy the mistakes the kitchen made. He had also spoken on our behalf to the manager when we had a few complaints. We've eaten here more times than I'd like to admit since moving here. I came for the free wi-fi since I didn't have internet connection for a good few weeks when I moved here. Even after getting internet connection, we've come back. Favorite day to come is Monday--they have $6 burgers so we can get our check under $30 including tip. Applebee's is a pretty decent chain restaurant. The half price appetizers during happy hour are a great selection. Although on my most recent visit it was not quality service or food. Joshua was our waiter in the bar, although I know he has worked there for awhile it seemed as if it was his first experience waiting on anybody. He had three customers, thats it! It took over 15 minutes to take our order! If we had not held his hand through out the whole dinning experience I don't think any of us would have gotten a refill or our correct food! After we corrected him casually and jokingly we were on the bad end of all the sarcasm! Unbelievable! After We sat down. Took them almost 30mins to come take our drink order. I'm talking about a very chill seating. There was maybe 8 tables all together all spread out. Our waitress was the ONLY slow one. She takes our drink orders and it's another 22 mins before she comes back. She forgot the kids drinks. It's another 15 before she comes back over and i was like could you bring the kids drinks and she's like OH we are all out of apple juice. We have OJ or milk I said milk is fine. Another 10mins goes by she brings the drinks. She walks away and comes back to take our order. We are ordering and she's like can you hold on for one minute please thanks. We were like yeah of course. Finish ordering. Another 15 mins goes by. The buss boy asked us if the waitress came for our order we were like yeah. Eventually our food comes. After an hour or more of being there. She didn't bring my fries yet. My husband was like after this long there are no fries she was like no you can talk to my manager. Then she leaves and never gives us utensils. So he's like seriously no fork but he had a steak knife.The buss boy shook his head like he was stressed. Again there is HARDLY anyone in there. So manager comes over and was like there's a problem? We said yes. We've been here for over an hour, hardly any people here, and the people who came in 20mins after us got their food first. She's like uhm well there's this thing called curbside and she said also the waitress said you guys were rude! We are stunned! She then says how about we box your things up. They tried to hand him fries and they ended up on the ground. Our kids have been crying waiting over an hour for food they were told us to go feed them McDonald's and so we left. We just got McDonald's. My kids were crying also due to the altercation the waitress and manager brought over. We frequent this establishment OFTEN. NEVER AGAIN!!! I'm subbed. I didn't want to review this place because I didn't think it would be accurate because of extenuating circumstances, but then I got my food and feel obligated to share. I ordered the 7oz sirloin steak. First, the steak tasted like one of those artificial, frozen Salisbury steaks. Second, the garlic mashed potatoes were so thick and heavy, I could barely lift them with my fork. Lastly, the carrots in my steamed vegetables were cold and hard. Service was pretty sub par. I won't mention the bartenders name, but it was pretty busy and she had to deal with a drunk idiot she cut off 1 beer to late. She was very nice, but I had to interrupt the drunk to get anything. They also have a digital ordering machine at most seating stations, but you can only order appetizers and desserts on it. I saw it also has games that can probably entertain kids. read more
