I could be wrong but it looks like it's the only independently owned coffee shop in town or at least in the downtown area. And it indeed shows! The line to place orders was quite long inside the place and they were also managing orders for drive thru customers. But they had the line moving steadily and got customers on their way at a pretty good pace. I'm guessing it's like this here often and they are well practiced! But there was also a church nearby and a farmers market which brought in a lot of people. I really enjoyed the Toasted Pecan Latte from their Autumn coffee menu. It was very good! Nice and smooth and the nuttiness was so pleasant as we enter into Autumn! Of course it wouldn't be a full coffee shop experience without trying out the pastries. They all look to have been made locally as in the Shelton area. I got an almond Danish which was so good and went with the coffee drink quite well! Such a nice coffee shop to hang out at. They have indoor and outdoor seating but even with that it could be a challenge to find a place to sit if it's always this popular.

The e-mail you get after you reserve your room is, 'Our check-in starts after 4pm. If you arrive to property prior to that time, please notify the front desk and we will be pleased to hold your luggage while you enjoy our casino and resort amenities.' I think there needs to be more clarification to this due to people with children. My kids and I liked to stay here because the pool, pizza and ice cream area being so close and easily accessible. Plus the hotel staff and food workers are always so sweet! Everyone has amazing customer service and my kids and I always enjoy our time here.

The casino. Very misleading if you don't gamble too much. I unfortunately do. But i noticed several things. 1. They have class 2 (bingo) slot games mixed with vegas style class 3. So a lot of times your not playing a slot machine. Your playing a video bingo look a like. Which in my opinion doesn't pay out nearly the same. 2. Almost all the games by theme are tied in a bank. So the major jack pots are the same number = if it pays it will probably not pay lets say on a bank of 6 machines it will pay 6 times less likely for the player. = very bad! I played on a busy fri/sat night. All night. Never saw ANY hand pays. I also never won more that about $100-300 and i bet high. This establishment is set up to take your money. Play, have fun. But don't expect to win. .

Lots of people were working or studying on their laptop. Wifi was fast -- no lag! Lofi music was played in the background and volume was moderate -- chatter level. You do need to ask for bathroom code though. The employees were friendly and helpful. Can't say much about the drinks since I just ordered a 16 oz. Iced Americano but it was good!
