Overall the establishment is clean and felt cared for. I ordered the Blondies Mess with a biscuit. This was certainly what I was hoping for. Crunchy, meaty, fried diner goodness. The biscuit is certainly on par and what one would hope for. My other half got the Chicken Fried Steak, which was great. This also allowed me to try the gravy that they use for the biscuits and gravy, I would certainly consider getting this next time. It is one of my favorite breakfast foods. For the side on the Chicken Fried Steak, he got a pancake, which another way we judge the quality of this kind of establishment. It was good, one of the better ones I have had recently. Not over-whipped and fluffy. Coffee is standard diner fare and they kept it coming as one would expect. I would certainly be interested in trying them for lunch and dinner some time!

Portions are generous. My dropping a star is due to price. It can be surprisingly high for a drive thru. I recently had a wrap and a 12oz pepsi. With 15% tip, $22. Another time, I had a daily special wrap and small fries - $19 before tip. For a wrap?? I know there are now forced minimum wage levels and also supply chain issues. But these two items (at least) will be the death of nice one-off places like Steamboat Greens I'm afraid. In my own case, the prices will limit my visits.

We were able to get parking and as we entered we were greeted warmly by staff. Luckily, there was a small table for us so we were seated right away with menus. The staff here are on point with checking in at the perfect times and they always do a sweep for coffee and water refills, to see if anyone needs anything or anything else. They are also so friendly and seem to know their regulars well too. The bathroom is well-maintained and even has a changing station. I got the strawberry lemonade and the biscuits and gravy combo that comes with eggs, hash browns, and ham while my boyfriend got the chicken club sandwich. The drink arrived immediately and not even after a few minutes did our food arrive. The pictures and reviews did not lie, the portions were huge and the food tasted great especially for the price. You do pay at the front once they drop off the tab. I do also appreciate that they sell some local goods from honey, sauces, jewelry and other neat things.
