Currently, I think they are open from Tuesday through Saturdays and closed on Sundays and Mondays. And I feel that changes throughout the seasons.

Despite there being an opportunity to make that happen, our request was again denied. After only 15-20 minutes, we had no choice but to leave because the conditions were simply unbearable. Paying in advance, arriving early, and still receiving the worst seats--with no willingness to help find a reasonable solution--made for a very frustrating experience. Customer service is about solving problems when they arise. Unfortunately, that didn't happen here, and it left us with a very poor impression of Tom's Bar. For no reason at all about 10 Cowboys hats came our direction and threatened all four of us. We were backed up against the wall as they all stood up and walked over our direction. My friend and I got up and walked around, my friend kept saying this is horrible. We didn't do anything wrong. We keep asking the bartender what's going on why is this happening ??? My friend asked some guy are you just gonna let these guys jump us? The bartender said she was shutting it down told us that we needed to go around and get out of here from the back.. we called 911,four times!!! and no one showed up. We feared for our lives, fortunately one of the locals told us to sit by him and not move and assisted in getting a stranger to drive us all the way back to our hotel. We were so worried about the other two men who did absolutely nothing and were getting punked by the local hillbillies. We have no idea whatever happened to the two guys. We ended up going to their hotel and explaining in case they didn't show up from work the next day. I highly recommend that no one attends this bar unless you live in that neighborhood and know everybody; it's clear Lodi people should be NOT be recommending it. It's a safety concern at this point. And this probably won't be the last time.

I figured it was just another iteration of the original (now long gone) Squeeze Inn in Sacramento, and I was right. I don't think the various locations are franchises, but are more likely independently owned, and the quality varies from location to location. The one that used to be in West Sac, for instance, was terrible, which might explain why it's been gone for years. And the mid-town was also a resounding MEH, and also gone. There's nothing at any version of Squeeze Inn/Burger that I want more than just a basic Squeeze (or in this case, SQZ) with Cheese, though. I don't want a taco, nor a BLT, and especially not chicken strips. I want that which made the brand famous. A cheeseburger with all the traditional toppings and a cheese skirt just dripping cheese grease off it. SQZ Burger delivers the goods. The cheese skirt was just the right size, not too big, not too small. At one point in my life I would have said that there's no such thing as a cheese skirt that's too big, but a couple of years ago I had a cheese skirt that was so big that I felt sick afterward from all the cheese grease! In addition to the just right amount of cheese, the burger had lettuce, tomato, pickles, red onion, and a healthy schmear of mayo and mustard. Damn near a perfect burger. The owner was running the register on my visit, and when she brought my food out, she asked if I wanted a side of ranch. I'm the kind of guy who would drink ranch dressing if I could, so of course I accepted. I didn't even ask - It was nice of her to offer! There's a throughline from the original Squeeze Inn on Power Inn Road to SQZ Burger, too. The father of the husband half of the H/W ownership team owned the original location. Brandon and Katie ran the Galt location for several years, and have now brought the goodness to a Lodi brick and mortar spot. I'll definitely be back.

I had the western bacon cheeseburger with fries and a strawberry shake. These burger was full of flavor and BIG! Not sure exactly how they make their fries, but they're amazing. And my strawberry shake was good also. We had about 45 people all land at the same time, and SQZ was able to quickly get us all served in short order. I do love the vibe of both SQZ & IDOL. It was a nice little drive both ways with an epic food stop in between.

Have not been here in a long time, but I love the chicken won ton tacos so thought I would give it a try. The service was horrible from the second we walked in. Waited at an empty host stand for more than 7 mins I even asked the bartender do we seat ourselves? She flat out said no wait for someone. Someone finally came and rudely asked how many? There was 4 of us. The place was not very full and she sat us at a booth big enough for 10! We all circled around and tried to sit together. The waitress seemed sweet but was not efficient. We ordered our drinks and appetizers. She then came back with the drinks and took the orders. We were starving, reason for ordering the tacos and the salads. She left and didn't come back for a really long time, I honestly thought she went home. It was 17 minutes later and she brought half the tables food, and the appetizers. The Caesar salad was so dry I asked for more dressing and she replied to me it's tossed. She finally brought back the dressing when she brought the rest of our entrees. (Kind of defeats the purpose) I ordered the new chicken Parmesan. My husband ordered the chicken and shrimp skillet his chicken was super dry my pasta was disgusting and tasted blan. We recently visited Applebee's for our son's 8th birthday dinner, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, the host seemed visibly annoyed when we mentioned our party of 12. We understand that 12 is a large group, but on a slow night, it should have been a welcome boost for them. Initially, our server was attentive, but that quickly changed after our drinks were delivered. We waited over an hour and a half, only to receive half of our meals. One of the people who didn't get their meal was a child. The excuses ranged from the cook being new to everyone arriving at once, which was hard to believe since there was only one other table of two that came in with us. When the food finally arrived, it was cold, and the mashed potatoes were crunchy. This was not the quality we expected, especially for a special occasion like our son's birthday. To top it off, when we expressed our concerns, the manager hovered over us, seemingly more interested in her "special pens" than addressing our issues. A gold star for the bartender who served us, and because the staff treated her like shit. When we got there, we chose the bar due to 40 min wait time on a Thursday night at 8:30. Had ridiculous tall margaritas in beer oversized glass (not mad at it, just unexpected surprise, perhaps short staffed?) We didn't order food until 8:50, yet got it between 9:30-9:45 (yikes). Also noticed... faces at tables in restaurants were looking not only pissed, but some had been there still when we both arrived. The waiting staff looked like they didn't want to be there even; with a kitchen so slow who can blame them? I fear this place remains open because the folks who live around here who don't return... are made up difference wise by the folks who traverse the highway 12 who get trapped here. Casey, the bartender has always been incredible, great conversationalist, mixologist and he creates the perfect "Cheers" style atmosphere. The restaurant is always great about accommodating a special request. I had requested a thicker cut steak for my dinner about a week before our reservation and it was prepared perfectly! Honestly, the best steak I have had in over a year. My husband had escargot as an appetizer and I had the prawn cocktail. Both were excellent as were the salads and of course the entrees were fantastic. My husband had the King Salmon, perfectly cooked and seasoned very well. We also splurged for dessert and were not disappointed! The server, Casey's wife was so attentive, kind and a true hospitality professional. It was also great seeing Steve Ding, the owner again, he is always welcoming and genuinely dedicated to making your experience a memorable one.
