There was brown floaties in my water and it looked like pieces of food. The cups weren't washed at all. But the service was good! There was a pube on the toilet, all I have to say is I was disgusted. The only reason why this place is even open is because there are no better options in the small town to eat, especially if you don't feel like cooking dinner that night. The wait staff forgets about you and doesn't come back to offer refills or check to see how your food was or if you need anything additional. Management did a poor job training these people as the floor is dirty and tables are filthy. They are not quick to bus tables and get people seated. The Salmon was tiny but was cooked to perfection. I enjoyed the blackened Cajun salmon with a small portion of green beans and Cole slaw (maybe 1/2 cup of each side). Another person in our party of three had the same but with broccoli rather than green beans. He had four florets on his plate. Four. Come on guys that's ridiculously chintzy. Nothing was as it appears on the menu. I can't recall what the other person ordered but the servings are on the small side and nobody in our party had a thing left on their plate when we finished our meals. Pay more, expect less in these post pandemic times??? If I could give this a zero star, I would. The service sucked. We waited a very long time for her to return to take our order. Yes, her tables were busy, but they already had food and she tended to them before attending to us. Then we got the appetizers right before the meal. The menus were also left on the table, we had to wait extra time before she return so we could ask for straws. This lady had a lot of extra support. A man that looked like a manager, 2 extra girls to bring drinks and appetizers and extras like napkins and steak sauce. Leaving her an 18% tip was more than generous! Never again. To be honest we only came here because chili's was a long wait. We would have had faster service if we waited there. Our sever only came by a couple times. Empty drinks, dishes needed to be taken away, but they just sat. A bigger table left when we got there, and the whole hour we were there that table didn't get cleaned. Food is okay, way over priced. We live here in Los Lunas and had not yet been to this Applebee's. The decor inside is very nice. Staff was attentive and very friendly. All of our food was great, hot and fresh. I usually don't like the side dishes that Applebee's offers so we hadn't been here in quite awhile. Fish and chips are VERY good. read more

This location must have been renovated recently. We were seated by the bar area in a booth that could easily sit about 10 people or so. Alejandro was quick with his service. Refills were always on time and food was delicious. I ordered the Bourban Steak. I always get this whenever I come to Applebees but I really loved how this location made it today. My steak was medium rare and cooked perfectly. Loved the sauteed Onions and Mushrooms. I added a shrimp skewer. To top my meal off , I had a Bahama Momma. Yuuum!! read more

This place, like every other chain restaurant in Los Lunas started out great, and then went to crap after about a year. Wake up managers; you provide crappy leadership you end up with lazy, uncaring employees. We have been here several times and the service has gone downhill, the food comes out cold and good luck getting a drink refill. They charge an exorbitant amount for drinks and then never refill them. We ordered buffalo chicken bites last night and mind came out barely warm, and my wife's were cold. We sent hers back and they returned in less than two minutes later, and I swear it was the same bites that were nuked and covered in new sauce. This is the last time for us. Wake up Los Lunas...allow crap service and food and this place will never improve. Management needs to be put on a short leash and held accountable. If I ran this place, half the help would be gone and managers would be put on notice. read more

Worst customer service ever. This place wouldn't be so horrible if they didn't wait 20 minutes just to get you're food from the Applebee's to you're car. They try to work quick and take multiple orders out at once but if you're server decides to have a 10 minute conversation with the order in front of you, you might end up waiting for cold food and a $11 1 gallon pitcher of lemonade that's half filled and way overpriced. The most horrendous service I've ever experienced at a restaurant. I was passing through on my daughters birthday and let her pick a place. I actually had to go get my waitress every time I needed something. They screwed up my wife's order, and the rest of the food was so so at best. I told the waitress it was my daughters birthday. After the waitress brought our food I never saw her again. No dessert, no check. Had to go to the hostess to get a check and pay. Appalling. Will never go to an Applebee's again. Evening manager Dennis has horrible customer service. He refused to serve someone a drink because he was not eating food, stating that was New Mexico State law. He either needs a new position or needs to be re-trained. There was not a hostess to seat us, all of the employees were standing around talking. I understand why this location has 2.5 stars. Do not waste your time coming to this location. He was more than happy to give up his general managers name but was defensive about giving his name. I will be calling corporate and inform them of this situation. I will also be calling the general manager to speak to them about this situation. Applebee's now has Ted. Ted is a tablet that sits at your table. It asks if you would like drink refills, desserts or appetizers. One can also unlock all games on it for $0.99. We did not pay the $0.99 for the games. I like electronics so I thought this was nice. Others came in and had it removed from the table because they did not like Ted. Anyway our human server was friendly and efficient. Appetizer was great! Mozzarella sticks. Not greasy. Our server also asked if we wanted ranch dressing along with the standard marinara sauce. I prefer ranch with my cheese sticks. I like Applebee's 2 can eat for $25/$20. I had the bourbon chicken and potatoes. The potatoes were ok, needed more spice. The chicken was delicious with mushrooms and onions. Dh had the 4 cheese mac & cheese with chicken. He liked it but said it was a bit too sweet for him. For dessert we had the 1/2 order (yes many items can be ordered as 1/2 orders) of the salted caramel pretzel bites. These were really good. Good thing it was a 1/2 order! Helped me stay within my calories! Just a warning the water at this restaurant is terrible. So if you only drink water ask for lemon to help disguise the plastic taste of the water. Free wi-fi here too. Best place in Los Lunas to watch those games that are on cable, if you happen to be cable free too! They have many tvs around the bar to watch your favorite team. read more

Where I made the terrible mistake of ordering mozarella sticks- I thought it would be ok. How can you emss those up, right? Wrong. They weren't even warm enough that the cheese was remotely melted. They were also not cooked all the way- the breading was wet and gummy on several. Service was better than expected, my drink was kept filled...
