The lack of service is absolutely ridiculous. The restaurant was not that busy. Everyone waiting was complaining about how much they dislike the takeout process, yet they keep coming back because it's one of the only options around. This is exactly why we stopped eating here in the first place. I thought running in for seasoning would be quick, but clearly I was wrong! So frustrating that this place cannot get it right.

The pork on the Carnitas was indeed crispy as it should be, and the cod was perfectly fried and delicious. My wife had the Asian Tuna Noodle Crunch Bowl: seared tuna, lo mein noodles. The dressing was superb; the Tuna was perfectly seared raw, and all the items that came with the salad (mango, red cabbage, daikon radish sprouts, kale crunch, edamame, cilantro, peanuts, toasted sesame) made for a lovely and delicious meal. Our server, Tony, did a fantastic job of keeping us all happy. My only 'complaint' was that Boxcar doesn't serve their amazing Brussels sprouts, or at least not all the time. Not on the menu. I still stand by that the IPAs here will stand up to any others we have around town and we have some good oens. We stopped in to watch football for a bit and the screens were plentiful, there was lots to do including darts, shuffleboard, and nearly every single game on at once. They've done a lot to the place and I really hope it sticks around - we need a place like this! Beers are super reasonably priced and they have a daily happy hour (including an all day happy hour on Monday!). They had a few slot machines available inside the place so if you felt compelled to gamble while you drink you didn't have to leave the bar to do so. They also had several flat screens around the place displaying a mix of different sports as well as a small few displaying cable channels, today I saw it was on TNT.
