In reality, my meal hadn't even been started yet.
    Yolonda E.

The food is usually great but this location is horrible. I called and let them know I had arrived at the estimated pick up time. Another 20 mins passed. I went inside to talk to someone and they said my order hadn't been started. I let the girl know if my order hadn't been started they could go ahead and cancel it. I've asked to talk to a manager after my online order was not ready on time. The manager never surfaced to speak to me and there were no concessions offered for my food being so late. I just feel like it's terrible customer service. It's just a shame because I was getting all jazzed up in my car listening to Walker Hayes' song and then the poor service ruined it all...

    Booth

Horrible everything! Waited 30 minutes for our drinks, 45 minutes for cold food and another 15 minutes to get the salad dressing for our salads. Helper couldn't bring it to us because the server didn't add it to the order? What kind of garbage is that?? And then charged us for it! The booths are beat to hell and the bathroom is dirty. Hands down worst dining experience I have ever had. Negative 12 if it were possible!

    AYCE Deal- Fried shrimp

ALL YOU CAN EAT - Saw the all you can eat ribs, chicken and shrimp deal on a commercial for $12.99 and automatically I had a craving I had to relinquish. Proves I am a sucker for marketing. Or I must have been hungry when I saw it. Nevertheless, ended up there on this day for lunch. I asked for the Texas BBQ flavor ribs, with no explanation of how this all you can eat deal works or what flavor options available, my waitress told me that I could ask each time I order. Well soon after, out came a plate of meat, with fries and side of coleslaw. The ribs were pork ribs, but were NOT the ribs I had in mind. They were not baby back ribs or even spare ribs, they were pork button bones. What are PORK BUTTON BONES? When the spare rib is trimmed the small feather like bones on the bottom portion referred to as "button bones". It was tender and soft but I reminded me of the McRib. The ribs were soaked in a generic tasting BBQ sauce that had a little peppery bite of spiciness. The fries were kind of tough and didn't taste fresh. They did not have a crispness like they were out from the fryer but dried and tough like they were sitting under a heat lamp. Slaw was not actually that bad. It was not drowned in slaw juice. lol. It tasted more salady. At least it added a little crunch of freshness. Ordered another round and got boneless wings (another marketing scheme to make chicken nuggets sound fancy) Out came another plate full with fries and coleslaw and the meat. Great, just what I needed, more cardboard sticks. Didn't know till after that the meat portion could be ordered alone, fries and slaw did not have to accompany the protein every time. Boneless wings were just heated up balls of pre-frozen breaded meat. Pretty basic. Next ordered shrimp and Zesty Asian ribs. The shrimp was ok. I think these were the only things that were cooked fresh because they were still hot when we ate them. Asian ribs had a generic sweet chili sauce on it but a little sweet to be slathered on ribs. I think the shrimp might have been good with a side of the Asian sauce used for the ribs. On a sidenote: I found it weird that they served MOIST TOWELETTES on the plate with the ribs every time. The towelettes sank into the sauce. Not sure why they could not give them to you on the side or upon request. This is like a plating faux paux right? It was overall MEH. This all you can eat is all I can regret. I think the coleslaw could have competed as the best part of the meal. I might have been expecting too much from Applebee's but all in all, it tasted like cafeteria food.

    Plastic wrapper in salsa 11/6/23

Closest location to my home, so I gave this place a try on more than one occasion. The first few times, no issues. Tonight, I received my order of a chicken quesadilla without any salsa or sour cream in the bag, so I returned to ask for the condiments that go with the meal. The manager Justin, had someone bring it out to me in the waiting area. I get home with the food, and halfway through eating, I find a plastic wrapper of some sort in the salsa, I'm assuming it's from the bag that their salsa comes in. Definitely could've got lodged in my or my child's throat, and could've turned into a Medical emergency. I hope they discard the salsa for the night for the safety of others since I've called back to let the Manager know what happen. I even offered to bring the food, and salsa back to the store which would be me returning to the store for a 3rd time tonight but the manager said it wasn't necessary and had offered me a refund within a few business days. Although the manager handled the situation professionally, I will not be returning to this location and now I do understand why this particular location has a 2 star average rating.

Bartender is on the far right who stated she is out of napkins

Food was decent, my daughter ordered chicken pasta Alfredo normally comes with a breadstick, it didn't come with, had to ask for it. We waited 15 minutes for our drinks, and I asked the bartender for additional napkins and she responded that she was out and said to use someone else's used napkins and she wouldn't judge me. Took a picture of the bartender, far right. Highly recommend do not come to this location.

Mushrooms & onions when I asked for shrimp & mushrooms on the side.
    Kim M.

Well things started off rocky. The table they sat us at was extremely dirty but several tables around us were clean. The place was not busy, very few patrons but we did come in at 7pm on a Tuesday night so maybe that is the norm at this time in this area. We were driving from Mesa to Orange County CA so not sure of their busy times. Anyway, hostess had us stand there while she cleaned the table, that was fine. She was sweet. Then came the train wreck we couldn't jump off of. I ordered the bourbon chicken & shrimp but STRESSED for the mushrooms & shrimp be completely cooked separately away from my chicken & onions. First plate the sit in front of me is chicken smothered in shrimp with the onions & shrooms on the side. Next dish they bring is a plain unseasoned chicken breast with shrimp, onions & shrooms off to the side. Not the bourbon chicken I ordered. I asked if there was any sauce, bourbon sauce, sweet Thai chili sauce that we just had boneless wings rolled in for an appetizer. He says well we have Heinz 57. I said um no I want some sweet Thai chili sauce you just rolled the wings in. He brought me a butter sauce. What the actual heck? He says this is the sauce we have for chicken. I just said ok thank you. It is not worth even asking for one more item. Didn't eat one bite of this food. Couldn't wait for the bill.

Empty tables yet 30 minute wait for 2!
    Matthew S.

Since my first review of this location this place has gone DOWNHILL by a lot! They need new management here, it seems that they don't know how to run this restaurant. There is always CRAZY wait times when there is tons of empty tables. The excuses are "servers are doing something else" or "we are short staffed." It's always the same excuses. Why do we still come to this location? Because after a few months we forget why we hate coming to this location until we arrive and see empty tables and still wait 30 minutes for a table for 2 even after we see group after group leaving and no one being seated. Manager is never to be seen. I always appreciate the other Applebee's locations because there's always a manager checking on their guests. Not this one, he probably knows he will hear about how awful he's running the place.

Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys…read more That's what was playing on the old jukebox as we made ourselves comfortable in what is a classic, back-in-the-70s, non-pretentious, neighborhood dive bar. The place is right out of a movie (maybe "Roadhouse" or "Urban Cowboy minus the mechanical bull). It's part biker bar, part honky Tonk, pub, and cocktail bar. We came for the burgers and were not disappointed. They were absolutely solid and worth it in every way. The nice, fresh beef patty was grilled to perfection and set in a soft bun with all the usual trimmings. I'd recommend you add thousand island for an extra touch of goodness. The resulting burger was juicy and meaty and drippy and excellent. It was not a throwaway "bar-food" item. The menu has a lot of great things in it, including sandwiches and all manner of comfort food and bar staples. A big surprise were the onion rings and ranch dressing. They were some of the best I'd had in a while. I found them better than the fries which were fairly standard. Others have complained about the service, but ours was really good at lunchtime on a weekday. Our server was also the bartender, and she was attentive and nice, albeit busy with all the workers that frequent this joint. It's filled with a mix of blue-collar, cops, office people, truckers, bikers, and just plain folks. And they play some great songs on the jukebox. Definitely worth it. And try one of the burger variations on the menu (with bacon or mushrooms, avocado, etc).

My husband ordered a large and my sister and I ordered smalls. When we got our bill the large beer was the same price as the small beers. Why didn't Vanessa tell us the large beers were on happy hour and were the same price as the small beers! Duh? We all wanted Beyond Burgers (my husband had cancer and was put on a plant based diet). Vanessa said she didn't think the Beyond Burgers were available anymore. She goes to check and comes back and said they are still available, . We all ordered cheeseburgers with the Beyond patties. We had to modify it without cheese or mayo but we all wanted the caramelized onions. My sister wanted verification that the onions were cooked and Vanessa said that they were. When we got our food which took a long time to get; it was luke warm and no caramelized onions. Vanessa said the cheeseburger doesn't come with caramelized onions! What?! My husband went and got the menu and it clearly states the cheeseburger comes with carmelized onions. I needed a knife to put mustard on my burger but none of us got any sliverware, napkins or coasters for our beers which were sweaty. After waiting for 10 minutes to get silverware my husband got up and got silverware from the bar. Now my lukewarm burger is cold as well as my fries. We asked for the manager and he did bring us caramelized onions in a to-go cup. Plus we got to-go containers to take our food home and reheat it. My sister and I waited tables when we we were young and had a whole lot more common sense. We did tip Vanessa but not nearly as much as we normally do. TP clearly hires based on looks and not brains. Vanessa is one of the worse waitresses we have experienced in a long time.
