I have to say this place has not been good in the past from time to time but takeout for the win this fine evening. Order placed and put together quickly and correctly. Items ordered: The Big Clucker chicken sandwich with fries and a Pepsi, The Bacon Cheeseburger with fries and a Pepsi, The NEW Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo meal with a breadstick, The Fiesta Lime Chicken with rice, and mozzarella sticks and onion rings for appetizers. Everything was fresh, crisp, and hot. The only complaint was the fries were the only items to get a wee bit soggy because of the plastic packaging they use. If only they could use a cardboard container to keep the fries non soggy. Everyone enjoyed the appetizers and their meals overall tonight. read more

This is by far the best and nicest Applebees in the country. It's wild. The food is actually fresh and really really tasty. Whoever is cooking back there is seasoning well!!!!!! Like, I was shocked. The service has been fantastic every time too. I used to go to one growing up in the 90s but haven't been back bc it's not usually good but damn this location has me here a few times a month. read more

This location was pretty good. No wait time. I went around 2pm, with a party of 4. The service was good. The server was attentive to us, kept our drinks full, and whatever else we needed she was on top of. Can't go wrong with the basics so that's what we stuck with. The sampler platter, onion rings (which aren't that good tbh), the boneless wings, and a ribeye with garlic mash and broccoli. I also had their blue lemon drop which was so good, and Their passion fruit patron margarita which was also pretty good. All in all I'd go again. Not bad at all. See pics below read more

Typical chain restaurant ambience and seating. Good service by young pleasant wait staff. A full bar if wanted. Plenty of parking. Menu is interesting, food, not so much. A clean reasonably priced convenient place to eat if one is not looking for seasoned, tasty dishes. Serves Pepsi, not Coke (personal bias). While I see no need to return here, I would not stop anyone from coming here for a meal. read more

Trying the 50 cent boneless chicken wings special, probably about 6 different sauces/flavors, service was fast and helpful, not too crowded but it is a weekday lunch. It was my birthday and I was alone. I had a drink and ordered a half slab of ribs with mashed potatoes. The portion of potatoes was not enough for a single person. I consumed the whole plate with no leftover which is unusual for me. The ribs were overcooked and thin. Not worth the price I paid for and the experience was almost as if I didn't go at all. Food was ok. It's hard with take out. They put the food in these plastice containers and the food gets soggy. And most of it was cold. It's great for a quick bite when you don't have time in your schedule or if you're traveling.

Inconsistent. The only time I resort to chain restaurants on travel is when there is nothing with a higher rating in the area. So it was with this trip. I ordered the same exact thing both nights (weekday evenings around 5:30pm). The first night, my steak was cooked perfectly medium rare, but OMG did they salt it. I asked to swap out for sweet potato fries and they were fine, well cooked, well seasoned, a very generous amount. The second night, my steak was cooked well done and my sweet potato fries swap was a sad pile of about 10 fries. She asked me if I wanted double fries and I said, okay, and yet they gave me 10 fries and the veggies. The place is clean, even the bathrooms. Service and hosts are wonderful (the manager even came by when I was done on my second night, so there was no point in telling him about my meal since there was no evidence left to offer of my claim). As the joke goes, "I ate the steak." Would I go back? Yes, but I'll probably get a burger next time and forgo the steak. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped by for a quick but relaxing dinner. The service was exceptionally slow, and the alcoholic drinks we ordered seemed as though they were mock-tails. We both recently turned 21 and are convinced they served non-alcoholic drinks, despite ordering specifically that. Tried to have lunch here today. They are limiting tables to only a few customers at a time. We were asked to wait. No problem. After ten minutes of waiting, we were told to wear a mask, and then asked for our names and phone numbers for "Covid Tracing", in case anyone gets sick. I know several people with cancer. Diabetes. Heart disease. AIDS. Tuberculosis. Even Meningitis. I know ZERO people with Covid-19. It's so deadly that you need to be tested in order to find out if you have it. I'm DONE with this nonsense. I met my artist friends here for lunch today. As soon as I walked into the entry it smelled like old dirty rag and unfortunately it was throughout the dining room. You know that smell, when you touch the table there is a thick coat of uncleanliness and even the menus. All I could think of was Gordon Ramsey and his kitchen inspections. Anyway service was very good, very friendly and accommodating. Food took a little longer than I like but the food was good, I had a chipotle lime quesadilla it was very good and reasonably priced. I generally order the boneless wings and they are great about 80% of the time. However, the other 20% of the time, they are terrible. They should be consistently good. I also have found the wait staff to be hit or miss. Some of the staff is great, they are friendly and will check back several times throughout your meal, etc. But yet sometimes they will come back only once, right after you get your food, and that's it. I always like to get a refill on my water mid meal. I've also noticed that a lot of the staff will stand around in the corner towards the back and gossip and stare, which I find to be unprofessional at times, especially during lunch hour, maybe at night when the bar is busy, etc. it would be acceptable. I went here twice while on vacation. This is the area to go to when you're on vacation. The surrounding towns are small and quiet. Both times I went the food was what you'd expect. Consistently good food for a chain. The service is where it lacked. I had to ask each time for something. Ie, refill on my drink, sour cream, dessert..... yes, even dessert. My drink was empty for 5 minutes until I gave up giving her the signs or slurping loudly, pushing the cup forward, etc. I ordered a quesadilla and I had to ask for sour cream. She responded abruptly that it was additional and I had to ask. Wait... I have to ask... why not upsell it to me or suggest it to me to add more value to the meal and to increase your tip? After I was done she left the check in the glass infront of me and asked if I was ready to pay. I told her I haven't paid because I was interested in what you thought was a good dessert to have with a coffee. She seemed upset so I said nevermind, I don't want dessert anymore and gave her my card. I was in the bar area. My other experience was a little better than this one. Ordered some Applebees from Door Dash and it was the worst food I have ever had in my life. Cheese sticks where disgusting had a fishy flavor and scent like they where made in dirty oil. My side order of fries was cold and nasty. My Steak meal was wrong I ordered mashed potatoes and green beans and got a double order of green beans no potatoes. The green beans where flavorless and also cold. And the steak was the worst meat I have ever had. Ordered medium and got a dry, burnt, grey, piece of nasty went into trash after one bite. The new menu isn't my favorite. I miss some of the old appetizers they had, like the potato twisters. The staff is friendly, but some are very forgetful when I ask for something. Sometimes the food tastes like it was microwaved as well. I tried their new brisket enchiladas and they did not look like they were advertised whatsoever. Today I ordered food to go, what a big mistake!! I ordered the boneless chicken wings I got 4 hard bricks & a tiny piece that looked like a bite was missing, the salad was soggy & tasteless. Hubby's cheeseburger was hard as a brick, over cooked & tasteless, the cheese sticks was very nasty & fries were burnt. When we sit there to eat the food is great, service is good but this to go idea is horrible in our opinion. I feel like it was yesterday's leftovers because it was at 11:20 am because everything was cold . Never again will I order to go! read more

Shady as hell. Ate here regularly for lunch for over a year. Today I get seated and accosted by a server who accused me of not paying my tab the last few visits. I almost always pay by card at the table. Always check to make sure it's my order I'm paying and never leave before that light turns green. I complained to the manager and sent an email to corporate. She kept saying f*ggot and other slurs. It really ruined the mood for our dinner, and we will not be returning. Her name was like Kristy or Kristina, and she had a blonde bun. This is by far my least favorite place to eat in the Berkshires. I never go by choice, only if invited and if I can't talk them out of it. Last time I got a rubber band in my burger and I just didn't bother complaining because "meh, what did I expect it is Applebees". We called ahead to let them know we would have a party of 20. When we arrived, they hadn't even started setting up the tables. After waiting about 15 minutes, we were seated. It took more than a half hour to get our orders in, and almost an hour for the food to arrive, since they decided to wait and bring it all out at once to our long table instead of staggering it. As a result, some of our food was cold and fries were stale. My food in particular was so salty that I couldn't even eat much of it. To top it all off, the entire restaurant smells like dirty bleach water. I had to wipe down the table with some wipes I had stashed in my bag, and it still stunk.
