Ordered from the car-side to go. 4 dinners and 2 appetizers. Ordered 1 meal of 6oz steak with broccoli and potatoes with tater tots. Steak/potatoes were cold, broccoli was like rubber. Ordered 1 meal of mac/cheese with no chicken or bacon topping( for a vegetarian), came with the latter. Order did come right out as soon as I pulled up, however will not be going back anytime soon. Now this place is nice and there food tastes great! It's rather cozy inside,feels like I'm at home.I love when they have deals like 2 entree's and 1 appetizer for $20 that's fantastic! I have eaten here many times. My number one complaint is they do not give you enough fries. The food is generally ok but tonight we had four cheese mac with tenders. The Mac and cheese was not cheesy at all. Our other complaint was the apps and main dishes came out together. Our server was awesome and she apologized profusely. All In all an ok meal. Went in for lunch on Sunday. One of the employees greeted us and held open the door. Same on the way out. We were promptly seated. Out table and where we were seated was nice and clean. Also looking out the windows they were very clean. Our waitress Kayla was super nice. Our appetizer, spinach artichoke dip was very good. Our meals were prompt, food tasted good. The manager also came around and asked how everything was. We had an enjoyable lunch for $30.00. Great service. Loved the Strawberry Quencher. read more

I've eaten at Applebee's in different cities. Use to think good service was a given. I was wrong. We stopped here for lunch. My first complaint is that the bill was placed on the table the same time we received the food. We did not ask for it or say we were in a hurry. About 10 minutes later when we were still eating, the waitress placed a "food to go" container in front of my daughter. We did not ask for a container and we weren't finished with our meal. The waitress did not say anything that was rude but her actions were. The place was more than half empty so we had no idea what the rush was was about. The food was typical of Applebee's, ok for us although a couple sitting across from us was complaining about the wait for their food. People go to franchises for consistency. You're suppose to get the same service & food wherever you go. The corporate office needs to investigate this one and find out what's going on. Pittsfield Applebees are giving them a bad rep. read more

Was in there on 12/2/17. Wait staff along with a female manager were touching their face, hair and nose while in the customer area of the restaurant as well as standing around the bar. I was waiting for my drink as well as my appetizer to arrive. At that time I asked my server Lock (No complaint on him, he was great) to get my the General Manager who was also there. I have been to this restaurant many many times and tonight they had the restaurant temp down so cold it felt like we were at the North Pole. I asked the waitress to ask management to raise the temp. She came back and asked if I my guest and I were ready to order. I said no it's still cold and I'm not ordering food only for it to get cold because it's cold inside the restaurant. At 5 PM on a Monday it was pretty crowded and by 6 people were waiting to get in. Good chicken tortilla soup, excellent burgers and very good Thai chicken salad. Can see why it is popular. Not very good service the waitress wasn't that attentive and the food was mediocre at best. My girlfriend got a steak that was still mooing and I got the four cheese Mac with lemon pepper chicken which was ok but the chicken needed more sauce and my breadstick was burnt on top. We started out last night trying to get into 99 but it was a 40 min wait, so decided to try Applebees. We have been to other ones and had decent food and dining experience......well not this one. Our first clue should have been that we were seated right away at 7:30 on a Saturday night. The waiter arrived promptly and took our drink order.....2 soft drinks, a pinot grigio and a cabernet. When they arrived there were 2 glasses of white wine......my husband says he ordered a cabernet.....the waiter just stood there and shrugged his shoulder and said this is what she gave me. I told him cab was a red wine....again he just shrugs his shoulders and finally says I guess you want me to take it back!!!! Finally came back with the right one. Says he put the order in right but the girl did it wrong...no apology at all. Then takes our order...classic combo, shrimp stir fry, brisket quesadilla, and my father got the 3 piece combo dinner....appetizer, salad and entree. As the waiter was gathering up the menus, my father asks about dressing for the salad, since the waiter did not. The waiter says "what kind do you want"....my father" french", waiter"we don't have that"....ended up with Italian. The appetizer arrives which we were all going to share, but we have no napkins. I asked the hostess for napkins and silverware.She says she has to see if the waiter is bringing it and then asks us if we want knives! We were like, what? After 3 attempts to get napkins/silverware, we finally got some. We witnessed the same thing at other tables, and saw a server bring a bunch of silverware to a table holding it by the utensil part and not the handles. Disgusting. Dinner arrives......combo has cold wings and the most disgusting spinach dip ever. You needed a microscope to find the brisket, my shrimp stir fry was ok, and my father never did get that salad. He told the waiter and he wanted to know if he wanted it to go! It was one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. We tried to pay the bill by using the machine that is attached to the table, but were told it doesn't work. Management clearly does not have a handle on any part of the place...food, kitchen and staff. With a brand new Chili's being built next door, Applebees had better get a grip on their place and do it fast....or they may be looking at going out of business once that Chili's opens up. For now, do yourself a favor and wait the 40 mins at 99. read more

Did my online order at 2:30pm and it was to be ready at 6:30. Drove to the online parking for take out. We waited 15 minutes and had called the line 4 times to get the order. Had to go inside and wait longer with no fod. After waiting 20 minutes total and no food I walked out. They were told to keep the food. Never ordering from there again not worth it. read more

We went to Applebee's to celebrate my son's birthday. It was a group of five adults and one infant. There was no problem with the drinks or the appetizers, but only four of the main dishes came out of the kitchen. Our server had forgotten to ring in my daughter's order. So my daughter got to wait for her meal while everyone else ate. Not only that our server wasn't particularly apologetic about her faux pas, nor did she get the manager to make an adjustment in the bill. My son had to do that. This was absolutely the worst restaurant experience I have had in Pittsfield in years! read more

Go here sometimes because my sister likes it. Not my first pick, there are plenty more local places that have fresher ingredients and much friendlier staff. My family and I went to Applebee's on 10/12 to order the half price appetizers like we do all the time. The waitress was very rude. As she took our order, she made a comment about the appetizer special being over in a half hour and then walked away. We waited 45 minutes and no apps. Even the table next to us that came in after we did got their stuff. The waitress completely ignored our table, refusing to make any eye contact when we tried to flag her down. We spoke to a manager who said the waitress "forgot" to put them in. Yeah right. She was completely rude to us the entire time. I will never go back to Applebee's again. read more

Got the steak & shrimp. Shrimp were raw. Seriously raw. Waitress brought food over and when she put it down in front of me she just stared at it. She asked me if the shrimp was cooked. I said no. She laughed and said sorry. She scraped the raw shrimp to a side dish to bring it back to the kitchen to cook them. All while expecting I would eat the steak that was covered in raw shrimp. Unbelievable. I asked her to remove it from the bill and she did. Not eating actually worked to my benefit as the rest of the people I was with spent the next 2 days on the toilet from food poisoning. Haven't been back since. Gross. read more

We went to Applebee's for their late night half price appetizers and some beers. While the service was great, and you can't beat the prices at half price, it was a mixed bag for our appetizers. Two of the five appetizers were very good, the Spinach & artichoke dip and the chicken quesedilla. The third was totally delicious the salse verde beef nacho's, Yum! Yum! But the last two we ordered were not good: the cheeseburger egg rolls were extremely greasy, and tastless, and the boneless wings were also way too greasy, we could not and did not want to finsh these. We told the waitress of our experience, and the manager promptly returned with a little card for % off the next time we come. I was surprised at that, seeing this is a big chain restaurant. The manager said that since they werre about to close they could not offer our group more food that night, but hoped we would give them another chance and try them again.
