Sounds like they don't want to take credit for serving breakfast to me ‍ Anyways, your holiday inn breakfast is affiliated with this location in the hotel. $12.99 is what you will be paying. The buffet selection is minimal. Cereal, oatmeal, toast, eggs, meat, potatoes, waffles and their choice of pancakes/ french toast depending on the day. I came both mornings and had both the French toast and pancakes, pancakes were better. Bacon was floppy one day and brittle the other. Sausage didn't really do anything for me. Wasn't a big fan of the potatoes. Eggs were ok. Still loaded my plate though to fuel my day. Had some Activia yogurt, fruit, and some tasty carrot cakeish muffins. Didn't have much time to explore a local breakfast joint. I would have rather supported a local farmer. read more

Ambiance is not the best. You sit eating dinner and look out at the people in the pool about 10 feet away. It was also extremely quiet in there. We ordered a side of Mac and cheese and the one we got was crawfish Mac and cheese, and someone who had a shellfish allergy was about to eat it. This is a serious concern for them as a restaurant. The pulled pork Mac and cheese was good. It was more of a pulled pork with elbow macaroni and cheese mixed in instead of the typical Mac and cheese with pulled pork on top. Overall good flavor. I have to say the fish with the fish and chips was perfect. Drinks were good but couldn't tell the difference between the passion fruit and the mango Bellini but it wasn't a bad drink. The food was absolutely amazing! I was very impressed. There were 4 of us and we each had a different meal. Each of us absolutely loved our dinners. The staff were courteous and very friendly. However, our waitress needed to be a lot more attentive. We had to ask repeatedly for salt & pepper, sugar and cream for coffee, etc., simple fix. Our bar tender and the food was great. However, there was a girl that was at the bar. She apparently works at the restaurant, but was clearly off duty, because drinks were left in filled or attended to with her standing 3' from us behind the bar. Then she left and came back with a f@$?ing beagle in hand, in the restaurant at the bar. Everyone acted like it was soooo cute. As a patron I did not find it cute or acceptable. I'm not sure that it is acceptable to the heath department. If you are okay with eating 5' from you then this is your place. Not for me. So, to add to all of that, I am not sure where the fault lies, but I witnessed and experienced food that was clearly wrong when delivered. However the right thing was then brought out and comped. I be asked for mashed potatoes in place of fries with my fish and chips. Got the mashed potatoes as a side and kept the fries. Oh yeah. You would expect that maybe since the bar is the only thing open on the second floor, that the restrooms just outside of the bar and restaurant would be open. Nope!!!!! They have a note on the door to use the ones by the ballroom. There are no signs to show where this "ballroom" might be. So don't wait until you really have to go, because you might not make it. My apologies to anyone that read my review from tonight. I should only speak of my personal experiences. I misspoke about someone else's order. That is my bad. Wow, authentic and delicious southern cooking. So unique and unexpected! A Pittsfield secret that shouldn't be. On the 2nd floor of the Holiday Inn, the casual atmosphere was upbeat with music, the service staff was very welcoming and friendly, cocktails made very well, and the food is the main star. Our party tried the jalapeño cheddar hush puppies with a horseradish sauce and the loaded potato with pulled pork and a jalapeño cheese sauce. Both were flavorful and enjoyed. All the entrees we ordered were delicious and with sooo much flavor. The heat is savory and not at all offensive. The Gumbo was authentic. One in our party really enjoyed the pecan encrusted catfish over dirty rice. I also ordered the catfish but with the option to replace the pecans with an andouille ragu. It was the right choice as I relished every bite. My wife had the shrimp and grits with a creole brown butter. We all tasted this dish and called it a real winner that we'll all be craving. There are so many other items on the menu I also look forward to trying in the future. The prices are reasonable, the quality and care are superb. We asked to speak with the chef who prepared our meals. He and both owners took the time to chat with us. Tucker and John are very passionate about their place and offering fine southern fare. Parking can be weird since 101 is on the 2nd floor of the Holiday Inn Hotel and their parking lot is presently closed/under renovation (in fact the first time I tried to dine at 101, I couldn't figure out where I was supposed to park), but the hotel offers valet parking so if you can't find or don't want a spot on the street, the very cordial and accommodating staff at Holiday Inn will park your car for you! 101 is small-ish, and comfortably cozy, whether you're dining alone or with friends or looking for a little romantic spot. The bar has these cool touch lights - that turn on or off or adjust level of brightness with the touch of a finger, letting you dictate your own ambience. There's a little something for many tastes (e.g. a couple of Chicken dishes, a Pasta dish), and the menu includes perennial favorites like burgers, fish tacos and pulled pork sammies, or entrees like Mac and Cheese, and Fish and Chips... but then there are singularly creative (and delicious!!) offerings some of which that suggest Southern origins: Sweet Potato/Bacon Jam Risotto, New Orleans Gumbo, Shrimp and Grits, Pecan Crusted Catfish. I had the Catfish (and asked for the andouille ragu on the side). The catfish with dirty rice and haricot vert: mouthwateringly delicious!! The andouille ragu is perfect whether it topped the fish, or sailed into my mouth solo (would have been great with some bread). Really... scrumptious! (cannot wait to go back for the Gumbo!!) Went with a friend on a Tuesday night and was asked if we wanted to sit at the bar or a table. I always prefer a table over the bar atmosphere so we asked for a table not realizing all the tables were around the bar. There were only about 6-7 others that were seated at the bar, but it was extreme loud. Went for dinner or a snack after work. My only sit down dinner of the week and it was unreal. The food was over microwaved, just hard and chalky. I wasn't even noticed or served at the bar for so long other people asked me if I had spoken to the server. I said no.. The ambiance, the bar tv wasn't working, kinda dark, lost in time. I was really bummed out. This was my only day in a week to sit down and enjoy some food and I was thoroughly disgusted. All the places in the Berkshires close at 7:00PM-8:00PM for dinner on a weekday. That alone is enough to make you seek out a place that is still serving after 8PM. First time visiting this lil gem! Lots of TVs and ample bar space to watch sports. Service was flawless and the food was VERY good. First of all, the food was amazing! We decided to get a bunch of shareable plates and everything was on point. The pork belly was melt in your mouth, the gnocchi was smothered in a sage butter sauce, the fish tacos were fresh and yummy, and the hush puppies were cooked perfectly - crispy on the outside and cooked thoroughly on the inside. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is the ambience. It's located in a Holiday Inn so I understand there needs to be a bar with TVs playing sports, but I wish the decor wasn't so neutral. Menu is very small. Salad consisted of greens only. Half chicken was like half a capon deep fried and very overcooked. Burgers were okay.

Tried this restaurant as it is new. Had a great lunch. Burger was prepared exactly as ordered. Fries were hand cut and made crispy. My wife had an Aubergine sandwich which was excellent. Would recommend this restaurant. Will be back to try dinner. read more

At 6:45 she came back to the table (still no name) After doing ballet moves around the restaurant and the bar area and serving every table, but our and asked if anyone had taken our order after she gave us water and we said no and she said oh OK. I am here now. I'll take your order. She took our drink order at the same time as our food order. We waited. We Waited another half an hour for our food to come. We were not asked if we wanted dessert. We had to go find someone to get to go boxes and ask for our check. The food was excellent. The service is severely lacking and incredibly slow. if you're not on a first name basis with the owner or his son or the bartender you will be severely overlooked. it's sad because this is a beautiful restaurant with excellent food. They need to step up their service and treat everybody the same way. I've been to this restaurant three times and I feel that unfortunately this will be my last. read more
