What a delicious meal at Applebee's. We had a bigger crowd of 10 people and the service was like they only had to take care of one person. Fast, efficient and the food... so, so good. I loved the salmon- it had a nice crispy skin but the rest was extremely tender and juicy. And the potatoes.... I could eat a massive bowlful of just those. I ate all of the broccoli too which says a lot. The entire meal and experience was a success and I would definitely order the same dish again but EVERYTHING looks good. read more

Literally oops, so it took an hour to get 3 of our entrees because she put them in when she realized she forgot the appetizers. Overall, really bad. This place not only has Uber eats , they also were very quick to process the order . Everything came neatly packed and the food was really really good !! I came here with some family for a late lunch one weekday. The restaurant was pretty empty given the time so we were seated quickly. They were very accommodating in giving us a table easily accessible for my grandmother, who was in a walker. Our waiter, Tony, was so friendly and checked with us multiple times to see if we needed anything. He's was a great part of the experience. I ordered the sweet and spicy crispy chicken sandwich with french fries. The chicken sandwich was sweet but not quite as spicy as I would have hoped. The fries were crunchy though. We came here to Rutland to visit our family as my brother in law was getting married In Lake Bowasanoo (is that how you say it ). This place was......lol oh man. Let's put it this way. 4 people Got sick and were on the toilet. Me, my wife, the future bride and groom). Their take on macaroni n cheese is steamed penne with water diarrhea sauce. I mean it was a culinary tragedy. That should be enough to tell you our experience was. The food is absolutely disgusting. We ALL got sick the next day. Wife had diarrhea for the whole morning and my stomach was yelling at me. Brother in la any well and was millmof magnesia for an hour. The grooms son was vomiting as well. The hostess was an obnoxious jerk. She had a tiff with us when we asked to be seated together at a table but she declared the state mandate of 4 at a table. We acquiesced with her request but she was rude. The only beacon of goodness was Joshua who was our server and an incredible personality. Thank you for your help. My coworker and I usually love gettin bees well we work. Today was not the greatest time however. I walked over around 12:04. Our order was supposed to be ready at 12:01. So I walked in the told the hostess I was here to pick up. She told me to sit down and wait. She said it would be right out. She never asked for my name so I figured someone else would ask. I am very patient because I work in a restaurant industry and I understand mess ups happen. But that's why communication is key. Maybe I should have said something sooner but finally around 12:42 I asked if she could check on the order. They found the take out sitting at the stand... it had been there the whole time. Went to lunch with a friend. The service was excellent. My food was very good and so was my friend. A quiet, comfortable place to eat.

The only reason this is getting two stars is our amazing waitress. We felt so bad that she had to work in such a toxic environment. It's started by me calling to make a reservation. We had a party of 9. The lady one the phone let me know they don't usually take reservations but she was going to put our name and party number at the hostess station so they know what time to expect us. We go out to eat a lot, especially on special occasions. We arrive at the time we said, I gave the hostess my information and she snapped at me telling me they don't make reservations and they'd get to us when they could. I explained that my name should be there as I called for a heads up. She was extremely rude and acted like we were inconveniencing her. The manger came over and some not so nice words were said about our large party (I did not hear but my husband did). The wait was about 15 minutes and it wasn't a big deal. We didn't mind waiting. They were extremely busy. We get seated right behind the hostess station where I sat and listened to the absolute filth coming out of both hostess and managers mouths about people wanting to be seated. They had a party of 6 come in and the manager (Scott) asked the hostess (Deb) where to put them and she actually said "to f***ing hell" there were many other things they said and I guess they failed to notice people sitting there because they weren't shy about trash talking their patrons. They bitched about how busy it was and how "needy" people are. Like I said; I've been lots and lots of places in my 30 years and NEVER have I ever witnessed such disgusting behavior from an establishment. We will not be returning. Our waitress was a saint. She was patient and attentive despite being massively busy. 2 stars is all for our waitress. Deb and Scott would 100% be fired if I were the owner. As a small business owner, I know the importance of making your guests feel welcomed. Despicable. I'll also mention that Scott walked around past dirty tables without picking up a single dish. Having worked in the industry, it made me mad. They didn't seem to have a bus person. He was basically useless other than talking crap. Really nice thing to do to your busy waitresses. Our family decided to go out president day weekend. What a huge disappointment we had 9 in our party we called ahead. They said that was fine so we went. Well to our horror, the manager and hostess where not only ride to us but started to use foul language. I am 63 years old and we had young children with us I was so upset. After we were seated they were directly beside us and started swearing again because a 6 top came in. I have never ever heard such language. I will never go back and I have told Everone I know. Spending the weekend in Killington and arrived pretty late Friday night. We knew not much would be open. After checking in at our lodge...we drove back down to the Applebee's. They closed at 1am and yes we were those people that arrived at 12am. We were starving after that 4+ hours drive. There were still some customers at the restaurant and when we entered we waited a few minutes before we were finally acknowledged and seated. We got our menus and glanced over the menu. To be honest I haven't been at an Applebee's in years so much of the menu was still the same. But I was always a fan of their appetizers and wasn't sure if they still did half price apps. So I decided on ordering an appetizer trio--I got taco queso dip, boneless wings, and Caesar salad. The food had arrived fairly quickly and we were pretty happy about that. The food was delicious and I'm not just saying that because I was hungry. The taco dip was my favorite which had white queso and ground beef with tortilla chips to dip. It was soooo good! The boneless buffalo wings still taste delicious just how I remember them! The Caesar salad was okay. Our waiter was wonderful! So accommodating throughout our entire visit even though we were the last guests at the restaurant. Great customer service! And even though we did order the trios, it was still half price apps and so we still got full orders of the apps because it was a better deal! We had our table full of apps! They were all delicious! My grandfather and I went to Applebee's restaurant to have dinner. When we got there, a man greeted us at the door and seated. He was a young middle aged gentleman who was very pleasant. He seated us at a booth in the corner. The booth was near a window that made it bright and sunny. A few minutes after being seated a waitress came over and brought us a menu and asked us what we wanted to drink. I ordered my favorite, Mountain Dew. It was good. The waitress came back in a little while to take our order. I ordered (honey glazed chicken tenders with macaroni and cheese). The chicken tenders had just the right sweetness, the macaroni and cheese was really creamy. It was so delicious. Applebees is predictable from town to town...but the service staff and chef can be widely different. Our lunch was tasty and well prepared. I went to dinner at Applebee's on February 17th 2022 for an early dinner. I had ordered the chicken broccoli Alfredo dish. When I received it the chicken was cold the pasta was not cooked enough and there was little alfredo sauce. I brought it to the attention of my waitress who took it back. Almost immediately the manager came over and asked if there was anything I could do and inquired about my displeasure. She offered to refire the dish herself and replace it to that I was satisfied. I did not have to wait long when she brought out another dish that was prepared to my satisfaction. So even though they made a mistake at the very beginning they went the extra effort to make it correct and for that I wanted to give them a thank you and you can be sure I will return again another day. I give them five stars for customer service. They were courteous food came quickly. I love this place. My favorite dish to get here is the cajun chicken and shrimp. It's served on a sizzling dish. It's delicious. A couple times I've gone here and ordered the mango margarita. Went to Applebee's tonight and left in total disappointment. We ordered 2 adult meals and 2 kids meals. Both steaks for the adults were under cooked. Well raw in the middle. I give 2 stars in a fairness as I eat here often and the meal is slightly sub par more than not. I thing I have finally realized that I just can't waste my money here anymore. TODAY, Applebee's just made my BLACKLIST. I will not return to any Applebee's anywhere on the planet again for as long as I live. It's just not worth spending $68 (plus tip) for 2 kids meals. Us adults got about 4 bites of food and then the raw meat was found. By the time the ordeal was over and the food returned to our table the kids were done and ready to go. And you all with kids know that when they are done and ready and have been sitting quietly long enough the timer runs out and you just have to call it. So we did!
