We arrived at about 9:15 on Saturday night and were greeted warmly and seated immediately. It did take a while for our server to come to our table, and it took a very long time for our drinks to arrive. I ordered a margarita with no salt, but it arrived with salt anyway. My husband ordered a Blue Moon, which was very good. We ordered the 1/2 price apps which are a great deal after 9pm. The apps are a full sized portion for only half the cost. Our choices were Boneless wings with buffalo sauce on the side, mozzarella sticks, and spinach & artichoke dip. All of the food was ok - just what you would expect from Applebees. It just took a very long time to arrive, which was surprising since the restaurant wasn't very busy and usually chain restaurants are pretty good at keeping things moving quickly. All in all, I'd go back if we are in the area again. The after 9pm specials are a good value, and the restaurant is clean and safe. I liked mine , it was good , I don't think they put any of the " bacon sauce" on it ? Needed some mayo or more sauce . I'd give it a 7 out of 10, the waffle fries were good ? This place has a problem with keeping Blue Moon on tap. I come here daily more for the Blue Moon than anything. They run out consistently now every 3 weeks, for the FIFTH time now. This hasn't happened in YEARS that I've come here. YEARS. Now that management has changed, so has their ability to keep their best selling draft beer in stock. I'm pretty disappointed. I am so disappointed and I don't like leaving negative reviews but I really feel I did not get my money worth on Saturday, January 25th I ordered the fried fish and my two sizes garlic, mashed potatoes and coleslaw. When they brought the food to me the fish was not fully cook. The dough was very soggy not crispy at all. The garlic mashed potatoes had no taste and it wasn't even a full serving . The coleslaw was put in one of those little cups that they put the tartar sauce in not a full serving and it did not taste good at all. I truly feel I did not get my moneys worth I am not a happy customer and normally we go to Applebee's and dine inside. This is my first time doing take out never again. how can you improve? This is the worst applebees I have ever been to in my life. The service was absolutely terrible. We entered the applebees and there is no one there at the hostess stand. We wait about 10 mins before someone comes to talk to us. The staff members see us but ignore us. Then the lady says we are short staffed, there is going to be a 25 minute wait. First of all, the applebees was pretty empty. Also, it is graduation season and they should have more staff. We are waiting and waiting. Then finally the manager comes and says you were quoted 20 minutes and we have your table ready now. However, he had it with such a nasty attitude. First all we have 4 kids and one is an infant. No consideration was taken. Then our server was Janae and she tried to make the situation better and was super nice. However, the food took forever to come. We had to wait like an hour for our food. My sister in laws steak was undercooked twice. Therefore, she ordered something. Then the staff in the kitchen started fighting and we can hear it because we were sitting in the back of the restaurant. It was just an unpleasant experience. I would never return. Haven't been to this place in over eight years, after tonight I remember why. Wanted an inexpensive dinner so we thought we'd try it. Nope. Service was sketchy but he was nice and was training so it wasn't super awful. The apps came out late. The pretzels and pub cheese were the best thing about this meal, though they were greasy and the chips (& salsa) were like hard- like maybe stale? I'm not sure, maybe they stayed under the heat lamp too long... Our five year old had Kraft Mac and cheese and an apple sauce. For $6.49. I had fish and chips (I couldn't find anything appetizing on the menu and thought what the heck?) it looked like an entire fish came out. There seemed to be so much breading on it I have no idea where the fish went. The fries were soggy and cold. My guy had a burger- which he said was as good as the chips, so that wasn't good. We both left pretty much everything on our plates, which we never do... Oh and the $1 Long Island ice teas were pretty much all sour mix. It was a relief to brush my teeth as soon as we got home. I came here on a Thursday with my mom to celebrate her birthday. When we arrived, we were seated right away since there was only a handful of patrons inside, which I didn't mind. We got the option of a booth or table and we chose a booth. The server we ended up with was extremely kind and helpful. We didn't order any appetizers, only entrees. My mom ordered the Oriental chicken salad, and I got the whiskey bacon burger. The salad was pretty good, the dressing was creamy and sweet, and the portion was very generous. The burger was on the bland side, and the patty was overcooked. There was a sauce on the burger which was too flavorful and overpowered the blandness, so there was an imbalance in the taste. The most redeeming part of this entire meal was the dessert though. We ordered the apple Blondie with ice cream, and it was absolutely delicious. The Blondie was warm and the coldness of the ice cream on top provided a perfect contrast. Overall, the meal wasn't too exciting. read more

I previously reviewed my dining experience at this location back in January. Following up with my review, which I also sent to Applebee's corporate, I received a call from Patrick, one of the managers, and discussed my dining experience. Patrick said that what I experienced was inexcusable and to please come back and try it again (and in the interest of full disclosure, corporate forwarded me a $20 gift eCard right after). Also, he said to ask for him next time in to make sure that I have a pleasant dining experience. I was out shopping in the area with my sister-in-law and my two kids at Eastfield Mall (farewell, Macy's) and decided to grab dinner while in the area. I suggested Applebee's since it was just after 5pm and I figured it would be a quiet time to eat. We arrived and were promptly seated by Steve. I asked who the working managers were and told me their two names and I told him I was supposed to ask for Patrick, explained that I'd had a previously bad dining experience and asked what the procedure was to use my eCard from my phone. He told me "No problem... we'll make sure we take good care of you" as we were seated. Famous last words! After waiting for around five minutes, a server stopped by the table for a second and asked "have you been taken care of?" --- which we hadn't --- and took our drink orders. I will note here that I saw a server do the same thing shortly thereafter at another waiting table, suggesting that they were clueless as to what tables they were assigned to. We ended up ordering two of the 2-for-$20 combos... which each include an appetizer and two entrees. The apps ordered were their Wonton Tacos (cilantro and slaw on the side) and Mozzarella Sticks. For entrees, my sis-in-law ordered the Quesadilla Burger and the three of us all ordered the Three-Cheese Chicken Cavatappi. The server asked my kids if they wanted the bruschetta tomatoes on theirs, and I said to leave them on mine but bring theirs on the side. The kids played with the on-table video games, keeping them occupied while we waited... and waited... and waited... oh... and did I mention... waited. The appetizers FINALLY came out, and were actually delicious. The Wontons had a good flavor to them and Moz Sticks were your typical deep fried previously frozen fare. Then... the entrees came. The Quesa Burger was fine, served with house chips. My kids' meals each came with the bruschetta on the side, as requested. I found my dish to be kind of bland, thinking that the bruschetta should have brought out the flavor of the food. My son enjoyed his and my daughter commented on the small amount of Chicken on top of her pasta. As I was eating my food, I commented to my sister-in-law about how bland mine was and she suggested that I ask for additional Parmesan Cheese. I opted not to, but as I looked at my son's plate I realized why it was so bland. The only cheese on mine WAS the Parmesan Cheese. The pasta was box-fresh never tossed in Alfredo Sauce. My daughter's was lightly tossed. So... we had three of the same meal all prepped differently (and wrong). There was no basil in any of our meals and the best way to describe the bruschetta is as little pieces of chopped tomato with no added seasonings. In looking at the menu picture of this dish, it in no way compared to it. Sadly, this is the same issue I had the last time I ate at this restaurant. The server came over and asked how the meal was. I told her that I figured out why my entree was so bland, explaining about how there was no sauce on my pasta. She said "sorry about that" and I told her that she didn't make the food. She left, and I figured she would inform one of the managers... If she did... they did nothing! The bill was delivered and I asked about using the eCard. She wrote down the numbers and was at the back of the restaurant station with one of the managers for ten minutes trying to figure out how to apply the card to the bill. I'd also given her my credit card for the balance since she said that they had to apply them both manually together. O-kay. She dropped off the bill... told us to have a good night... and that was it. A manager never stopped by the table... checked up on us... and as with my last dining experience on January 7th... epic failure. I looked at my sister-in-law and asked "am I being overly critical about our dining experience?" She responded that if anything, I was giving them more of a chance than she would have. She reiterated that all three of the same dish came out differently and that the wait staff was too busy socializing among themselves (and a few patrons that they obviously knew) to be bothered with patrons. As we left (about 7:15pm) I noticed there was no one near the host station and a few of the staff (and manager) were all congregated at the cash station in the back. read more

I've come to Applebees often and each time I enjoy myself. But today, my waiter Steve was a well mannered and proficient at his job. Steve is very kind and very attentive to his customer. He is the far best waiter I've had and I highly recommend his service. Other than my great waiter service, the food was great. The food was on point , I had ordered the shrimp steak sirloin and the food was cooked just as I had asked and still sizzling when it was served. As soon as you went in the restaurant the kind girl had attended us very and place us in a area where I had requested. The place was clean and organized and quiet. Overall, I give this place a four star because the place was great and I had enjoyed the food but what had failed was the cleanliness of the silverware was not as clean as it should be. Ehhh, the service could have been much better. My steak was REALLY under cooked, I ordered it medium. My server walked away before I could cut into it and check. It was raw on the edge plus the extra cost "sauteed onion" was raw. Looked like it was on the grill for a few seconds... I patiently waited for her to come back around but instead I watched her chatting it up. Eventually she came over and I showed it to her. She did apologized right away and the look on her face showed she was shocked as well. Manager came and brought me back a different steak that was well done not medium rare as requested. It came out like 3 mins after i sent it back. Maybe they gave me another order? I didn't bother saying anything. Everyone would have been done by then. All in all it was an ehh experience. Half price appetizers till 5, but they are out of onion rings, mozzarella sticks and queso cheese, so they wouldn't sell me nachos either. 2 for 20 meals include an appetizer to share, your choice of appetizers consists of artichoke dip or artichoke dip, yuck! After having to pass on the appetizers, we got house salads that were nothing to brag about and were charged 3.95 each for the lousy 1.95 house salads. The atmosphere was good, I just didn't enjoy my Cajun chicken and my guest didn't enjoy her shrimp item off the two for $24 side of the menu.
