Took my mom and sister to Texas Roadhouse tonight for dinner. Of course it was around 5:30 and with the early dinner deal before five it was crowded. Our 30 minute wait wasn't bad at all. After we were seated a super friendly member of the wait staff came over and introduced herself. She explained what Texas Roadhouse food was all about and dropped off a basket of fresh hot rolls and butter. We ordered drinks and an appetizer and within no time she was back with everyone's drinks. We then ordered our entrees. After enjoying the rolls (which were immediately replaced with new fresh ones) our fried onion appetizer arrived. Piping hot and full of flavor it was a perfect shareable item. Before long our salads arrived. They call this a house salad but it's a really elevated house salad. Let's start with the chilled bowls it's served in. Two different lettuces with red onion, cherry tomato, cucumber, croutons, a bit of shredded cheese and some chopped hard boiled egg. It's no small salad. We all enjoyed it and how it was prepared. My mom and sister ordered a 12 oz sirloin cooked medium rare with baked potato. Both were cooked perfectly and had great flavor with the potato going perfectly with the steak. My wife had a combo ribs and rib eye with a baked potato. Ribs were tender and saucy with the rib eye being juicy and again perfectly cooked. I had the 12 oz prime rib med rare and of course a baked potato. The prime rib was juicy and full of flavor. With the creamy horseradish sauce and the au jou it was delicious. Our server was fantastic. I had a fresh ice tea in my hand before I finished the last one. She checked on us multiple times and was super helpful. What a great value for our experience. I'll definitely be going back for another meal. read more

Ordered Filet steak medallions with mushrooms and onions. The filet steak medallions were super chewy with gristle, the mushrooms were horrible ( I think they were dried mushrooms reconstituted) the sauted onions were cooked on high heat so not cooked, the sauce was so salty I couldn't eat it. I ordered it for delivery but I won't be ordering again! Use some butter and take a little time and lay off the salt! For $42 it was disappointing for sure! read more

We thought we were having an early dinner at 5:30pm, but wow, were they busy this evening. Once we opened up the menu and noticed their $11.99 Dine Early special Monday - Thursday till 5pm, the mystery was solved! Been more than a minute since my last visit to Texas Roadhouse. I remembered their yummy bread and sweetened butter, and the birthday sung by the staffers. But I didn't remember what food they did best. But when one is in steak house, the cattle call. We shared a few chunks of meat for dinner and stuffed ourselves silly. Filet Medallions with portobello mushroom sauce served over seasoned rice $23.49, Prime Rib 12 oz $24.49, and half slab of ribs $17.99 each came with 2 picks from the sides menu. We opted for the seasonal vegetables (broccoli and carrots), house salad, and baked sweet potatoes (one loaded $1.29 for melted marshmallows instead of brown sugar on the side). The meats all rated good or higher. The ribs were a bit over charred, but was still tasty. I liked the filet with the strongly flavored rice, but the parents preferred the prime rib. Their veggies were overcooked, even the green beans I sampled, but not to the degree of cafeteria canned vegetables. Their house salad raises the bar for your average side salad with the shower of egg and cheddar cheese. But I'd probably skip loading up the sweet potato in the future. read more

When was the last time you had your meal comped? We did because things went off the rails in our recent visit. My rare steak arrived rare; my boy friend's medium steak arrived even rarer. We sent it back and talked to the manager. And then we waited.. and waited.. and gave up, our waitress had a lovely conversation with another patron for a good 10 minutes before noticing our attempts to get her attention so we could order. In the end I left my dinner uneaten and his remained undelivered. Incidentally I know this is a busy location but we arrived late so there were more servers than patrons. That made the inattentive service inexcusable. read more

First time at a Texas Roadhouse and loved it!! Going in, expectations weren't too high as I heard Texas Roadhouse wasn't the place to go for high quality steak, but I enjoyed my time there soo much. Definitely not a fancy place but the food is still yummy. The bread rolls were as good as everyone said they were, so buttery and soft. The cinnamon butter was amazing as well. It was also my first time trying chili and I loved it. Our waitress was super nice and let me know they were out of onions but the chili was still delicious, very hearty and let me with a warm feeling in my tummy. The mashed potatos were also really flavorful and buttery. Funnily enough, the steak, which was meant to be the main course was my least favorite part, being very mediocre. My total before tax was around 15 dollars --worth it in my opinion. Overall, I enjoyed my experience a lot, especially the service. We came in as a family of eight and overall had a nice experience. Our waitress was absolutely amazing -- super kind, funny, and very attentive. She truly made our table feel taken care of. The food was also pretty good. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious, but I highly recommend choosing your steak from the display instead of ordering it straight from the menu -- the ones you order come out very small. The reason for the three stars is due to a safety issue that happened with my nephew. Another waiter brought out his dessert on a plate that was extremely hot -- so hot that he wouldn't even set it on the table. Instead, he handed it directly to my nephew, who immediately burned his hand and dropped it. The dessert fell, broke everywhere, and he was in a lot of pain. We completely understand that mistakes happen, and we were very kind about the situation. The waiter was apologetic. However, we were surprised that no manager came over, the dessert wasn't taken off our bill, and no discount or acknowledgment was offered. It just felt odd, given the circumstances. My brother-in-law will be filing an incident report because of the severity of the burn. Again, our server was fantastic and most of the experience was good -- but this incident definitely needed better handling from management. read more

Table for 2 handicapped seniors - Wait was not long, but...when we requested a booth, they said they're only for parties of 4 and brought us to a small table with wooden chairs next to a very loud party of 12. We couldn't even talk to each other. Not 5 min., later they filled 2 lg. booths with 2 people in each and 1 person in a 4- person booth right next to us. To make matters more frustrating, we watched an empty 2-person booth for the entire time we were there, and no one was ever seated there. There were also 3 other 4 person empty booths on the back wall the whole time we were there . Do have to say the service was good and huge side salads, but that was the last time we'll ever go back to Texas RH. Not a pleasant dinner! read more

Went here for Mother's Day, knew it be busy and that the wait for things would be longer than usual (have been to this location many times). Ordered the steak and bbq chicken combo, and I ordered the steak 'medium'. Took about 45-50 mins for it to arrive, was glistening on the outside but on the inside? Barely a pink center and was dry. More of a medium well on the brink of well done. I asked for a new one, the waiter brought it back. A family member of mine had a similar experience with theirs, noticeably overcooked. She did the same. I waited about 20-25 mins for a new one, about 10 more mins longer than what our waiter updated us with. This time it was brought over by a manager, asked me to cut into it to see if it was good. Nope! Exactly the same thing on this one, just dry with no juices flowing through it. I told the manager it was the 2nd one they messed up on, and the new one took awhile to come to the table. Mind you, we were about an hour and a half into dinner from when we had first sat down. The manager said they'd see what they could do. Finally they said they'd take it off the bill, which was nice. They also offered a voucher for later use, which also was nice. However, they finally brought my family members 2nd steak from about 45 minutes ago and even that one was STILL overcooked! 3 steaks, none of them asked to be well-done and all were cooked as such. Really a shame, since I've had good steaks there before. Waiter was super kind and attentive, not their fault at all to the lackluster experience. Chalk it up to whatever you want, but for this go-around they were really disappointing. Bread is really their saving grace. read more

We were looking for a quick dinner out before going to a home improvement store so we settled on Texas roadhouse which happens to be in the Lowes parking lot. For a starter we ordered an onion blossom (I think that's what it's called here) it was nice and crunchy and came with a southwest type dipping sauce. Over the course of the dinner I had 2 of their top shelf margaritas and they were super weak. I would not order these again. For my main course I had the 12 oz ribeye medium rare with a ceasar salad and mixed vegetables which was broccoli and carrots. I thought the salad was pretty over dressed, I should have ordered the dressing on the side. The steak was cooked correctly and was pretty good, the veggies had a little crunch to them which was nice. It was a lot of food and I ended up taking about 1/2 the meal home to have the next day. One meal in our party was forgotten. The manager came over just to confirm that we still didn't have it and then told us it was done but had been just sitting in the window the entire time. The person in our party responded politely and said no that's ok I'm all set. Everyone else is almost done. The manager got an attitude and mocked her while walking away, then proceeded to bring the meal over anyways, 5 mins later. We told her again that she didn't want it anymore and the manager began to get extremely rude and we asked to speak to a manager for the way she was treating us. Her response was I am the manager hi I'm Laura, how may I help you, with an attitude. We used to love eating here. They need to rethink their management staff. read more

We came here for the Veterans Day special and it was nice to see the restaurant take in so many Veterans for lunch when it opened. I myself had the Veterans meal with two sides and it tasted fantastic. Our server was especially nice to us and welcoming. And everyone else was just amazing. We were up in Mass picking up a dispensary order and decided to get a late lunch. Texas Roadhouse is always solid so we hit this one up. The rolls with cinnamon butter were delicious as usual. A second basket appeared like magic along with our fried pickles. Our server was very nice and checked on us. In all we had a shrimp dinner and 2 NY strips. We came out to celebrate a Birthday at this fine establishment. Everyone on the staff was super friendly and welcoming to our group... We got the welcome wagon and everyone got to pick out a steak out of the ice case who was getting steak.... Our waiter was very nice and kept on top of the orders and the beverage refills. We ordered a good selection of appetizers: rattle snake bites, blooming cactus, and tater skins. The rolls were fresh baked and amazingly fresh and the cinnamon butter was superb. No matter what the order was.... chicken, steak, fish and chips or chicken the meals were hot and fresh!!! My first time here. I ordered the steak/ribs combo with a (semi) loaded potato and chili fries. It was a lot of food! The steak was decent/good. Not the best but above average. The ribs really surprised and were quite good. The semi loaded potato (no cheese) was great and the chili fries surprised me in a good way. All in all pretty good. So service was wonderful the service name was Aislinn. Very good service explains everything was patient kind knew we were there now to celebrate anniversary and to celebrate Mother's Day. She explained all the different specials and the sides they were offering today like the sidekickof shrimp of 3 to 5 pieces. Everything came out perfect I ordered the 6 ounce sirloin steak and it was medium rare it was juicy as could be. Besides I got were regular garden salad with blue cheese crumbles and homemade bacon bits. The baked sweet potatoes that came with it was loaded so it came with marshmallows and caramel sauce and butter it was so good. My friends got one that's a rack of ribs with a loaded french fries with chili and stuff on them and the other one got the country fried chicken that was very tender and juicy just the right amount of crunch with white gravy mashed potatoes and corn and of course don't forget their famous Texas rolls they were awesome. It's been a while since I was in Roadhouse used to work there that was just before Covid but now it's just we don't go out to eat that much this is kind of like a treat for us so I want to go to my favorite place. We had us a gift from the manager Than there a slice of the apple pie with home with the ice cream and caramel sauce and it was delicious the caramel sauce could've been a little looser and warmer but other than that everything was perfect everyone made us feel real welcome just like family like it always has been.Definitely worth the trip and great to see our friends. read more

Before even walking into Texas Roadhouse I was hesitant. I don't like chain restaurants, but my boyfriend had a gift card, so I said why not. We decided to sit at the bar and were greeted by Jacki. She was attentive, kind, and patient. (I'm the worst with menus. I can't decide what I want.) After we placed our order, we started talking to her more and learned about the Texas Roadhouse mantras, which I was immediately impressed by. I sat on the horse, just because she thought I would enjoy it, which I very much did. It was definitely the highlight of the evening for me. As our experience continued, Jacki told us more about her time at Texas Roadhouse. I quickly realized every word she said was filled with passion, love, and dedication. It was obvious that she has an unparalleled commitment to every customer having an unforgettable experience. I've never met any server or bartender who cared that much. I love Texas Roadhouse! I love them as a restaurant and as a business. I went with my girlfriend for a nice dinner date and per usual, we got served their famous rolls which is by the far the best rolls I've ever had. I ordered some killer ribs and fries as an appetizer and it was quite delicious. I also ordered some Counrty Fried Sirloin and some rice and corns with you. It absolutely amazing how much food you get for an amazing price. The service was not as up to par as we had to wait a while to get their attention to get our check and get a water refill. FOOD: 10/10 SERVICE: 7/10 RECOMMENDATION: You can get refills on the rolls so take advantage haha read more

Went in for a late lunch today. Took over an hour to get our meals, and the steaks were actually kinda terrible.

First thought, I love it here. Any TR to be honest. Second thought, yes they're playing country! And I can annoy my guests by singing along to every song during dinner! But in all seriousness this place is good. The food is great, it's a clean establishment and I've never had a bad experience here, food wise or employee wise. And I've been here a lot! The bar is great and has tons of TVs around (as it should) to watch the game when it's on. The bathroom is pretty big, I think 5-6 stalls and clean! Which is a huge plus, dirty bathrooms in places are always turnoffs. I often order the steak and shrimp combo meal and every time I get it it's always better than the last! Love it! We went to the Roadhouse in Hadley for dinner. My son ordered a double stack burger which he enjoyed. My wife ordered a 16 oz. NY strip cooked med rare. When it was my turn to order I said I'll have the same. we then waited 30 minutes for our food to arrive in a 1/2 filled restaurant. When our order arrived I received a perfectly cooked 16oz. NY strip and my wife received a perfectly cooked 12 oz.ribeye. We immediately brought this to the attention of our waitress who came over with the manager. The manager told us that the ribeye was a better deal than the strip steak by 5$ and it was in fact a 16oz. steak(it wasn't and not sure why they would have cut a 16 oz steak since its not on the menu and no one ever mentioned the word ribeye during the ordering process.). He did ask my wife if she wanted to have them recook her a strip steak but everyone was eating and it would have been awkward for her steak to come out after we were finished eating. In the end the manager took off 2 dollars from my wife's steak. She basically overpaid for a steak she didn't order and only ended eating half of it because she doesn't like the fat in a rib eye. Terrible management at this location. will be a while before we return. read more
