June 21: Went to eat lunch was starving I ordered the bourbon chicken with shrimp and received it in a timely manner however the chicken was just garlic and parmesan no bourbon to be found. Sweet waitress went and got her manager and that is when the female manager talked down to us and said we didn't know what we were talking about! I have worked in the food industry for 10 years and know people can be rude and unruly but I only asked for the bourbon sauce and was told it does not have any it is just a light seasoning. There seems to be a problem with management. We walked in, there were plenty of tables, but we and others still had to wait. Our server was wonderful and friendly and she did he best to please us. The food was not great, was ok but not unique or memoriable. The ambiance was not inviting or peaceful and seemed rushed and crowded even with empy tables. Walked in before 10:30 (they close at 11) and as soon as i sat down i heard the manager yell "last call" so i proceeded to order a drink, and the waitress told me that he won't allow her to put in another drink order. This is all before 10:30 pm. Usually when a bar yells last call, you get to order one last drink right then. I don't think the manager knows what last call means. This place does not even deserve a star. I waited 25 minutes for drinks, an hour for our food - all appetizers by the way. And when I got the check it was $25 too much. They overcharged me. I ordered a side caesar - making it abundantly clear to the server that it was a SIDE caesar and I got a grilled chicken salad. Not even a caesar. Then the manager refused to take it off the bill even though the grilled chicken salad was $11 and the side caesar is $4. But then insisted it didn't exist?? It was clearly on the menu. I will never be coming here again. The food was horrible and cold. The beer was warm. Absolutely nasty. Other patrons in the restaurant were having issues too with completely messed up orders. Once again, absolutely HORRIBLE service. The manager on duty apparently cares very little about service and more about chatting with her friends. Sat for 15 minutes with 7 different servers passing us by, including pressing the "call server" button, only to nobody come to our table. And for those wondering, they were full-staffed and Half-full. I came in with friends and ordered a triple bacon burger l. The waitress dropped off a dry, undercooked burger with 2 pieces of bacon and no barbecue sauce. She came back 5 minutes later and said that the bacon was cooked into the burger and refused to bring any more bacon to fit the menu description. There were only ten other customers in the store at this time. I got no bacon, no apologies, and horrible service. We pointed them out and were told that they weren't ready. At the same moment a black couple was seated at one of those clean tables. First let me start off by saying that the service was excellent. The waitress was nice and got a few others to sing for my husband for his birthday. That however is where the good ends. My husband and I went to Applebee's for the appetizers because it was his birthday and he always liked the 3 for 10 appetizer menu. However, when we got our food, almost all of it was absolutely disgusting. The meatballs were lukewarm, microwaved, and obviously frozen. The nachos had next to no taste and were essentially a mess and overall a big pile of disappointment. After a few bites we were ready to go and couldn't bear to eat more. However, the manager was reluctant to comp our food and let us go somewhere else since the food was technically "properly prepared." So we decided to trade out our appetizers for the two for twenty meal. We both decided to get the four cheese pasta. Unfortunately that also turned out to be a disaster. There was a disgusting pool of tomato juice floating around the pasta which affected the taste and was frankly very off-putting. The pasta itself was sorely undercooked and chewy. We could only take a few bites before we decided to just pack it up and go home. My husband is a cook so we figured we could just fix the pasta at home and try to make it slightly more edible. Our waitress was kind and attentive and these are the only good things I can say about the visit. We ordered an appetizer of boneless buffalo wings, they are running a half off special at the moment. It arrive just minutes before our meal and was warm but not hot. My husband ordered the brisket tacos. his fries were cold, the tacos were slathered in a overly sweet comeback style sauce, not the bbq the menu mentioned. He was thoroughly disappointed. I ordered the create your own appetizer platter. They were out of two of the things I wanted... I ended up with chicken wonton tacos that did not have Asian slaw topping them but regular old mayo based coleslaw. I gagged on the first one. A chicken quesadilla that tasted like something out of the Walmart frozen food section and chips and spinach artichoke dip that were bland as could be. Terrible over all food experience.
