If you're in the mood for classic American fair this place is the best. Their perfect margarita is on point and so are the 5$ cocktails and seasonal ales. It was much cheaper for me to eat and have drinks here than at similar local restaurants that were busier smaller chains. I was paying 10-15 dollar a drink others places and they were all ice. The staff here are friendly and accommodating and it is never hard to get their attention and get whatever your ordering they make it right and it comes out quickly read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. It was terrible in there on June 12, 2021. The music was so loud it was more of a night club atmosphere. You could barely here the person next to you conversation. Waitresses were dancing all over the place. The server we had took so long to come and refill things for us and to top it all off I was overcharged on my credit card $28 which I believe was because of my tip amount being changed. I called and they did refund me the $28 however, I will NEVER return to this place again. WOW!! read more

I have eaten at other Applebee's with no problems, but last week, when I ate there and my meal was first brought wrong, I sent it back. It look pretty much the same, but I was told it was right. We've been frequenting this Utica Applebee's for many years now, both eat-in and carside to go with good experiences. Under current circumstances, we know what a difficult time the restaurant industry is facing... primarily being short-staffed. Last night we had about a 20-25 minute wait, but our experience was phenomenal due to LINA!!! She's an amazing server and last night she was the ONLY server in the whole restaurant!! We ordered drinks, soup, salads and entrées. She did not miss a beat (BTW, she didn't have to write down our order). Our food arrived in timely stages and was hot and delicious! By the looks of the other diners everyone seemed to be getting the same great service and looked happy! Thank you Lina for your positive attitude and smiles throughout! Also, kudos to the young man who acted as both host and busser (he did a great job of seating and then cleaning tables as soon as guests left - with the same positive attitude!!). Last, but not least the 'barmaid'/ manager(?) Amanda stopped by our table to ask if everything was okay, again all smiles and great attention to making sure her guests were satisfied! There's nothing that gets me more excited than the perfect fusion of depressing low end bar with a low end family restaurant, so Applebee's was the obvious first choice for me. Imagine a sexy dad looking over his laptop at the bar at a depressed middle aged asian woman... she stares at his monster energy drink beanie thinking about how nothing gets her more dripping wet than peeling it from what's left of his hair and leans over her half off disgusting appetizer and takes a sip from his pepsi product. they eat a week old reheated little ceasers quality breadstick together and both think "does it get any better than this"? Here at Applebee's is great and all but the only problem is that they are a little short on staff especially at night. In the women's restroom the floor is really sticky and not clean, and on the toilet seat you can see all the past stains. read more

I wouldn't really recommend this place if you're looking for good quality food. It's good for a quick bite if you're out and about, or feeding yourself after drinking shenanigans. The $1 drinks they have every month are very watered down, and sour. You're better off paying full price for one somewhere else if you're trying to reap the noted benefits of alcohol. Otherwise, you'll be left quite unsatisfied, and sober. read more

Deciding to eat here on mothers day evening was a mistake. We were seated straight away but it was packed and full of kids. Naturally many were screaming and making a fuss. It took 10 minutes to be greeted with our drink order. The wait staff was clearly in the weeds and they did not seem prepared for the rush. We had no silverware when our salads arrived and were told they were out and were being washed. The food was OK but seemed overdone. I like to visit this location and sit in Annette's section. She is so personable and makes each table feel as if they are the only one in her section. We like to visit on Saturdays after 10pm because of the half-price appetizers. Can't beat the price and the service with Annette! Under $15 two people can share a couple appetizers and sodas.
