My first call when my old double wall oven died was to Appliance Alliance in Phoenixville. Maybe it was a busy day, but the sales person couldn't help me and never followed through with the email he promised. So I found myself believing the promises of their larger competitor (the place who does all the advertising). After being on-order at the competitors for 8+ weeks, I became frustrated and called Appliance Alliance again, in search of inventory. Salesperson Nick (aka, my miracle man) found several models of double wall ovens that could be delivered within a week. Professional installer Joe Torrie was available the day after delivery. Wow, I hit the jackpot! So here is my recommendation.... (1) shop at Appliance Alliance, (2) ask for Nick, and (3) schedule installation through Joe Torrie. Dina was so knowledgeable, comparing the different brands and features and making my decision easy. Your deliverymen were on time, friendly, and very careful moving out the old and in with the new. They took the time to review the details, including the WiFi option !! Joe then arrived to hook up my dishwasher like a pro and also took the time to explain each setting. But when I wanted to buy they said it is listed for less than the cost we are paying for it. we will sell you for $849.00. I asked them that they should honor, what they have advertised for. We purchased a new refrigerator on 7/5/25 from Appliance Alliance 370 Bridge St., Phoenixville. Within a few hours of delivery, it was clear the unit's cooling system was not working. We immediately contacted Appliance Alliance voicing our concern and requesting a replacement since it was a defective product. The store owner told us that even though the unit wasn't working within 24 hours of delivery it was nonetheless considered "installed" so we were now "at the mercy of the manufacturer's warranty". She said the store was not responsible for the defective appliance and when asked how that was possible, she said, "that's why we have disclaimers". No replacement / no refund. Our only option was for us to arrange to have a technician repair our brand-new, never-used refrigerator. After 5 days with no refrigerator and living with a terrible smell coming from the appliance a technician found a high side air leak which caused the noxious chemical refrigerant to leak into our home. We were told repeatedly by the manufacturer that since the problem occurred within a 48-hour window of delivery, the store was responsible for addressing our concerns. Based on this, we again asked Appliance Alliance to remove the broken refrigerator and refund or replace it to which their representative callously responded, "I don't want to be stuck with a refrigerator I can't sell". To be fair our salesperson was courteous and knowledgeable, but the ownership needs a few lessons in basic customer service. We could easily have purchased this exact refrigerator from a big box store for $200 less but we wanted to support local business (we were repeat customers!). We still believe in buying local and supporting small businesses but would strongly advise others to avoid this one! read more

First I will say I got the refrigerator today and the delivery guys were very nice and professional. That is where it STOPS! I called yesterday to find out what "window" I would be in. A woman named SUSAN answered the phone. I found out she is the owners wife[then she is an owner also] She told me 12 to 3. My EXACT words were, That might not work, it may be too late. Her reply stunned me. She said, "Do you want your check back?! That is how one conducts business?? It is despicable, unacceptable and also astonishing that not only an employee[who could be fired for this behaviour] , but an owner! I was stunned and silent for 3 seconds. Isn't the goal of a merchant to have customer service skills and sell and promote their product in a respectable fashion. I doubt if this was the first time she did this. HOW DO THEY STAY IN BUSINESS??? She tried to rationalize and justify her behavior,,,,,,,it was a feeble and irresponsible attempt. If I did not have to start over again[wait 5 more days] I would have called Queen appliance. I hope my Frigidaire lasts awhile. I know one thing, I will NOT but a third refrigerator from them, in fact I will NEVER purchase another product again. The amount of time and energy I have wasted dealing with the washer/dryer unit they sold my fiance is unreal (also, it was their most expensive model, which btw, now that I have gotten involved, I see they charged hundreds more than other local stores do..) I'm sure the sales person was aware he had no idea how to do laundry (different rant...!) let alone any idea how to select an appropriate model for our needs. If the washer works, the dryer doesn't. Dry decides to run, guess what!?The washer stops mid-cycle. There is no rhyme or reason to these machines, and no solution to be found despite hours of googling. The nonstop beeping they produce has officially made me insane. read more

BUYER BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY - DON'T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY - THEY TRULY DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS - If I could give them negative stars I would. We purchased a Speed Queen Washer and Dryer from this store in March 2021. We purchased the most expensive models on the recommendation of the owner. The dryer has not worked correctly from day one. We have had two different machine repair shops, one recommended from this store and one recommended from Speed Queen. Eight times later the machine is still not fixed and working correctly. The machine is clearly a LEMON and this company nor does Speed Queen want to help get this machine they sold us fixed. I was original told by Dina that if Speed Queen couldn't help she would. After spending many hours on the phone with Speed Queen and the eighth repair visit, we called Tina and the story changed. She can no longer help other then saying to call Speed Queen and complain. After spending two plus hours on hold with Speed Queen the call was disconnected as I believe the customer service department closed. We called Appliance Alliance back asking for their help and Courtney's idea of helping was to tell us never to call back and hung up the phone. I hope this review stops people from purchasing products from this store and puts them out of business. read more

So today we found out that no matter how prepared you think you might be the Covid-19 isolation, it doesn't matter when your fridge doesn't work. I've never had a bad experience with Appliance Alliance. I've bought my washer, dryer, TV, and grill there and have always been treated promptly and with all due courtesy. Skip, the owner, will always flash a smile and they're determined to beat any deal that you can find! As for the previous poster, I don't know why anyone would want delivery guys to install a range & vent, especially you knew how to do it in the first place. Our Wall oven and microwave stopped working suddenly and we need a replacement ASAP. I tried Home Depot and Lowes but both said delivery will take 3 or 4 weeks or more for the GE model we wanted. I tried Appliance Alliance and spoke to Kris. Kris was very helpful and accommodating. He told me they had three units in stock and could deliver in less than a week. As an added bonus Appliance Alliance was able to closely match Lowes' sales price. (They are a small outfit but do their best to match the competitive prices of the giants like Lowes and Home Depot. ) In addition Kris was able to line up the services of an Installer with the end result (to my wife's relief) being the new oven was installed in 4 days. The installer (Joe Torrie 1-484-888-3051) is someone I will also highly recommend if you ever need a major appliance installed. He did a great job removing the old oven and installing the new. I like to give my business to small outfits instead of the giants whenever possible and in this case I am very happy I went with Appliance Alliance. read more

For years we have relied on Appliance Alliance to outfit our home. That changed today. Here's what happened: Last week our current washing machine broke down and needed to be replaced. I went to the store and was specifically told by Courtney that both the washer and dryer were "in stock" and ready for delivery and installation. We made the purchase and waited for Courtney to schedule the delivery/install. And waited. And waited. I called her twice in the intervening week to check on status, telling her that our dirty clothes were piling up, and was simply told "It didn't arrive on the truck" and there was no information about when it might be available. (Why would they expect it to be on a truck if it's "in stock"?) Finally, after hearing nothing further from them, today we called another local store and were promised delivery and installation in four days...and at a better price (about $50 cheaper). So I called Appliance Alliance and was told that the washer was in fact NOT in stock but was expected to be at their warehouse in New Jersey in 72 hours. No apologies, no acknowledgment that they had misled me. (Their only explanation was, "You didn't inform us that you needed it right away." Seriously?) So I told them that I had an offer from a competitor that I expected them to beat. About half an hour later Courtney called me back and informed me that the washer was miraculously "here in stock" (after just telling me it wasn't even in Pennsylvania!) and could be installed in five days. I reminded them that I had another offer to have a unit delivered and installed sooner and at a better price. I said, "We'd rather give our business to you. We can wait on the installation but can you match the other price?" After a long pause, Courtney said very icily, "I'll just cancel your card payment," and she hung up. By the way, at no point in any of these interactions was I rude or demanding. We were (and are) shocked that they would treat a long-time customer this way....a customer who, by the way, had planned on relying on them for further purchases this year, including a refrigerator and stove. This is an unassuming white building on Bridge St a few blocks from the restaurants. Not much of a Wow factor, but they're really impressive inside. That's where we met Skip, our sales person, who was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and did not hover over us. We needed a new washer, and weren't familiar with the new HE technology, so Skip patiently explained it. We purchased that day, and the 12-month zero interest sealed the deal. The woman at the counter, whose name I've forgotten, was very friendly and helped us complete our credit application and transaction. Their delivery service was also very professional and friendly. Worst Appliance store in the area. We bought a stove and range top (top-O-Line). The range top was installed using drywall screws and fell onto the stove in the middle of the night. When we called and complained they could not care less and showed no customer satisfaction. They actually justified the use of drywall screws -I must of missed that gem in the Installation Manual. Furthermore the range top was not vented properly to the outside, I had to fix everything this myself, so much for paying an installation charge. We will never buy an appliance or other item from this place. read more

Range died right before the holidays---knew it was failing but had hoped for a bit longer. Appliance Alliance had a good selection of 30"ranges and delivered just a few days after choosing it. GREAT delivery team--new team for Appliance Alliance--but Experienced. Just watching them level the range gave me confidence they were detail oriented and careful. And nice to boot. They set the oven to burn off that new smell and even showed me where the charcoal filter is on the over the range microwave (bought a few years ago) that I didn't even know was there. The install crew went above and beyond for us.--on the way out they went over the driveway to be sure they didn't drop any small pieces like a screw or even wrapping. Nice!!! read more

While the appliance (dishwasher) we purchased from Appliance Alliance is wonderful, and was competitively priced, the installation process was less than wonderful. This store had been recommended to us by three separate individuals. We wanted to support a local store. The three men who came to install the dishwasher were friendly, however apparently our house made it very difficult for them to do the installation. I am not sure how professional they were, but several issues followed, and we were very disappointed in their level of expertise. Perhaps if you don't need any plumbing associated with an installation, thing will go smoothly for you! read more

We have had excellent, responsive service from this appliance company. Bought Speed Queen washer and dryer...and they were delivered to our house and installed without incident. Courtney, the sales person we deal with, is always upbeat, friendly, KNOWLEDGEABLE about the product lines she sells. Sometime later when we needed an authorized repair technician to assess a problem that developed with the washing machine, Courtney took care of scheduling the service call for us. The issue was basically an anomaly wherein a small dent was developing from inside the washer housing resulting in a minor protrusion in the front washer cabinet piece. Once again Courtney stepped in willingly and eagerly to contact Speed Queen company and her action resulted in a new cabinet front piece being shipped directly to our house to replace the flawed one. So our experience with Appliance Alliance has been the best...again: responsive, great service after the sale. We will not hesitate to deal with them again for our next appliance purchases. read more
