So far, so good. We've purchased two washer/dryer sets and just purchased a refrigerator to replace one that's going bad. In both cases we had our washer and dryer delivered with good timing. Install was fine and we've had no problems since. Our oldest order was a few years ago. They have provided good service every time we've shopped there and their pricing (we buy from the scratch and dent section) has been fair. I've seen the bad reviews posted, but thankfully, we have not had that experience. That's why we keep doing business with them. read more

We purchased a KitchenAid downdraft range Sept 25, 2024 at the Colorado Springs store where the unit was not in store and was represented as brand new "INBOX", on the purchase invoice, meaning it had the original packing and still in box from the manufacturer. At the time of installation, it was out of box and free standing with obvious scratches/dents and missing numerous parts, meaning the unit was previously sold and original parts were used as a fill-in by the dealer for other units. The unit was installed and in February 2025, we noticed defects in the unit and contacted KitchenAid only to be informed that the unit was actually manufactured October, 2015, almost 10 years old. Where has it been the last 10 years? AFW ordered an inspection February, 2025 through their affiliate Brand Source (not KitchenAid as required the 1st year) who discovered there were 4 defective/malfunctioning parts. Upon installation of the supposedly new parts, it was alleged to us that AFW would consider repurchasing the unit but proved to be false promises by the store manager. The company stated in their response to the BBB complaint, "Oh, the unit is repaired so there is nothing we will do to rectify the issue."Blatant lies, lies, lies. There is still one burner malfunctioning. We have requested copies from Brand Source of the original inspection and subsequent repair (required by the warranty) to no avail. Again, verbal garbage. There have been numerous broken promises from the manager/assistant manager and messages left on the "President Hotline" which of course, is meaningless. We have requested by email and numerous phone calls that the unit which is "refurbished/used" be repurchased with all monies paid $3546.01 which the dealer has vehemently refused. Truly this was a fraudulent transaction. WARNING: Do not do business with this disreputable company. We bought a mattress from them and the sales process was fine, but the delivery and afterwards has been a nightmare. First it started with no one calling us to let us know our delivery window until we called 30 min before they closed. The delivery was a mess, in a completely empty house the delivery guys broke 5 trim pieces on the stairs because they decided that kicking the mattress up each step was the best method. Then when it came to fixing it, it was more lack of communication on when someone would be by and they didn't even bother making sure they had supplies before coming out so the whole day was a waste. After speaking with two AF sales people - one, Kory who was described as a manager or whatever - about buying a range hood my several requests have been completely ignored. The hood I had in mind required some extra materials (a power chord and special filters) and I was promised a call back. After a couple weeks I phoned again and was told that Kory had been on vacation and that I would get yet another call back. That was two weeks ago. Hey! I'm trying to BUY something from you! I'm sure after looking into this you will get some kind of excuse from your salesmen probably describing me as the problem. We bought $12,000 of appliances for our kitchen remodel in July 2022. Everything was delivered in 60-70 days after we paid for them except the 5 burner gas cooktop. At first, Appliance Factory sent me ETA's every week. Unfortunately, with every email that I received the delivery date got pushed to November, then December and after the ETA hit January 15th and this was in October, I -proactively- called my sales rep Rick, who gave me the song and dance of, "it's not up to us, it's up to the manufacturer". I asked if he had called the GE manufacturer's rep for Colorado to find out out more information. It was like that question was a revelation to him! He asked if I wanted to switch manufacturers but at that point, we could wait until January so I said, No thanks, hoping that the delivery would come in January. However, that would be the last time I spoke to my rep until I -proactively- went into the store last week to find out what was going on, Mid-April, 9 months after we made the order. Why wouldn't Appliance Factory train their reps that after so many months, the rep calls the customer and gives them a solution or at least an update!? That's called service. The Littleton store on Bowles just got a new manager, who I was speaking to. Did he have ANY empathy for my situation? Nope. I asked if there was another manufacturer I could switch to and the 1st words out of his mouth was, "You know that you will lose your rebate from GE, right?" I said, "My #1 priority is to get a stove in my house!" He looked at me with a blank stare. Appliance seeker: I want you to BEWARE of Appliance Factory. I feel I need to share our experience with you so you won't be taken advantage of like we have been. We went to Appliance Factory to buy a washing machine on December 18, 2019. Our washing machine had broken and we were desperate. We had first checked our favorite appliance stores Hom2e Depot then Lowe's. They were not able to deliver a machine for weeks, due to their black Friday sales. We called Appliance Factory and they said they could deliver a machine the next day. We were very happy about that! We walked in explained to our salesperson Leon that we do a ton of wash. He we needed a heavy duty machine that took large loads with quick cycles. We purchased a LG washer and dryer we spent $899 on each. That is a lot of money to our family. The washer and dryer were delivered without incident. We started using them that day. The dryer would not get warm or hot and has never dried a load of clothes. We called immediately less than 24 hours and they sent a repair person on December 30th. Before the repair person came we had the entire duct replaced (brand new). The repair person said there was nothing wrong with the dryer. IHe explained t is a typical problem with new dryers they quit working they don't dry anything due to sensor issues. An issue he did not detect or fix. Still this very expensive dryer has not worked one day or for one load of clothes since it was delivered on December 19, 2019. It is clear Appliance Factory will not stand behind the Appliances they sell. We have called and asked them to make it right. We don't receive return calls we have sent emails and have no reply. Today we went and purchased another dryer elsewhere. We are requesting a full refund from the Appliance Factory. We have not received a response. Went to appliance factory for a new dishwasher. Bought a Miele, but not the one I wanted/expected. My wife and I were in a bind because we were about to have a kid and our dishwasher started to die. We went to appliance factory and ended up buying a floor model Miele. Yes, I know....floor model. But I've bought floor models in the past and they all turned out fine. We did this because the sales rep said she could get us the dishwasher the following week, other purr base options were months out. She also gave us a considerable discount and extended warranty. Machine shows up, not in a box, just wrapped, and has a massive dent on the front. The movers mashed it with a fork lift. They installed the machine after I called and it was confirmed I could get another front plate. After it was installed we found out the door was mocked badly and had trouble closing, then we got the code for faulty water pump. Machine was sent back but my only option was a lower quality Miele with less options in terms of inside maneuverability. I tried it out, ended up hating it. Push cones to shove, no return policy. This has been the worst experience that I have ever had with any company. Let this be a warning to stay away from this company!! To start, my wife and I recently bought a new home. We were excited to pick out new appliances for our new kitchen. Like so many right now, we were finding it hard to find appliances that we liked that weren't back ordered for months and months. We visited several appliance factory locations as well as other appliance retailers. We decided that we would consider an out of the box refrigerator from Appliance Factory so that we could have it delivered in time to move in to our new home. This is where the problems began. The salesman that was helping us was brand new to the company. He was not able to answer any of our questions without having to consult with his manager. We were told that he would put together a few combo options for a 4 piece kitchen that were in stock and available. We never received any of these options. My wife and I started to take matters into our own hands. We checked their inventory and found the refrigerator that we wanted at another location. Our salesman called ahead to let that location know that we were coming to look at the refrigerator. The salesman that was assisting us at the other location showed us the unit. We decided to pull the trigger and purchase the refrigerator and a dishwasher that we found at that location. It was the end of the night and the store was getting ready to close. So the Salesman pulled the tags from the units we wanted and told us that he would talk to our salesman from the other store, and have him call us for payment the next morning. We received no call, we called before the end of the day. Our salesman was off that day, and they could find no record that we had decided to buy the units. We called the location where the units were at, and were told that the salesman that pulled the tickets had a family emergency and wasn't in that day. We were later told that he had actually quit. Finally someone found the tickets for the units we wanted to buy. We were told again, that our salesman would call us the next day for payment. We didn't receive a call until almost 6PM the next night. It took over an hour on the phone for the salesman to finally take the payment. We had many questions and were told many conflicting pieces of information by the different salesman. One salesman would tell us one thing, then another would tell us it was different. They can't seem to agree on the companies processes. They were also not up front about the different fees associated with the purchase. But regardless we were finally ready for delivery. Appliance factory rates their out of the box units A, B and C depending on their condition. My wife and I had picked out an A rated refrigerator which had very few dents, dings or scratches. When the unit arrived at our new home, it had sustained significant damage from the delivery. I would estimate that is showed up in a C condition or worse. I pointed out the damage to the delivery drives. They told me that I had the option to reject the unit, or we could contact the company and they would help us find a resolution. The driver told us that the company would either replace the unit or compensate us for the additional damage. We knew how hard it is right now to find units that you want that are not back ordered. We felt like we had to accept the unit if we wanted to have a refrigerator in our new home any time soon. The driver documented the additional damage and wrote on the delivery ticket that the unit had been damaged. Later we were told that the photos and damage note never made it to the file. My wife called to try and work out a resolution and was asked very rudely, " Well what do you want?" She was then offered $100, "and that's all we do". We played phone tag with salesmen and managers for nearly 2 weeks trying to get some sort of resolution. We were told that a manager would call us and we got no call. We left voicemails and no one called us back. Finally the Salesman Kyle picked up the ball and decided to try and help us. He was the first person to apologize for the situation. He agreed that the way Appliance Factory had been handling it was not acceptable. We sent Kyle photos of the damage. Kyle recommended that we call their Presidents line so we did. The voicemail said that someone would call us back within 24 hours. It has been 8 days and no return call from the Presidents line. 2 days after first speaking with Kyle and giving him some time to work on our situation, Kyle called us back. He informed us that we was only authorized to offer us $100 for a damage concession. After all this the offer was flat out insulting. We asked to speak to a manager, again. Of course the manager was not working that day. This is what we were told almost every time we called. That, or the manager was on the other line and they would have the manager call us back. In-store experience was fine. High pressure, but the salesperson was nice. Then, The delivery team showed up to my home without the entire product we had purchased. At the store, we were told we had to spend an additional $30 on hoses for our new washer. The washer was in our basement and set up before the team discovered that one of the hoses was missing. The only way to handle this, we were told, was to purchase the hose ourselves (this cost me an additional $15 at the local hardware store) or refuse the order. This would require them removing the washer from our home and setting up a new delivery date when they could show up with the correct order. Unfortunately, we chose to purchase the hose on our own. Had we simply allowed the washer to be removed, we wouldn't be stuck with the inoperable one that is sitting in our basement now. Thanks to the poor planning and policies of the delivery team, we did not discover that the washer does not work until after they had left. Now, instead of staying in my home and preparing my sheets, clothing, and other household items for my husband's chemo treatment tomorrow, I get to go to the laundry mat to spend further money to get my laundry done there. I cannot wait for Appliance Factory to make this right, as my husband will again be immuno-compromised as of tomorrow afternoon. If I could turn back time, I would purchase an appliance from a reputable business who would not make my life (already hell with cancer) even worse by selling and only partially installing a non-working appliance. I bought a fridge, stove, and dishwasher here with a promise from my sales person that he'd give me a call in a few days to schedule my delivery. After waiting almost two weeks to hear from him, I got fed up and called to cancel my order so I could buy two of the pieces from a big box store that had them at lower prices/immediate delivery. That's when I learned the stove I ordered was supposedly a special order (keep in mind they had a version on the floor and it's a stock stove at every other retailer I'd shopped). My sales guy said I'd have to pay a restocking fee for canceling this order that I hadn't even received yet. This surprise "special order" was probably the source of most of the problems I had here, but there was no way to tell when I paid because the sales order listed the item like everything else (that were stock items) and my sales person never told me. I ended up not canceling my order and getting a delivery scheduled--but then that first delivery was canceled and no one told me about it. At that point I was waiting for Ashton Kutcher to pop out and tell me I'd been punked. But no, this was real. Eventually my stuff got delivered and I got a price match on the lower price I found for the stove. But it took a lot of calls--and even those didn't work at first. The store manager was helpful and genuinely seemed interested in fixing things, but I feel like you shouldn't need to ask for special attention or write some whiny review to complete an order for basic kitchen appliances. Given the hassle of getting this stuff from the floor to my house (and even the delivery guys didn't level my appliances--so make sure you double check before they leave), I am not sure I would go back. read more

We were quite impressed. When we entered, we were greeted, asked about the nature of our visit, and taken to Jonathan Fuentes, store mgr. We needed a refrigerator and had a specific space to fill. I was hoping for a French door style. Jonathan knew which of the French door units would fit into our space and showed them to us. He then showed us a bottom freezer option. When we asked about who built the better refrigerators, why he liked one over the other and other questions, he had ready, thoughtful responses. He seemed trustworthy. After 2 months without a freezer and many many many phone calls, we still dont have a freezer and oven. A tech came out 3 weeks ago, wrong part. A Tech came out yesterday installed a new compressor, and freezer still doesnt work. Tech also said yes you do sell refurbed appliance. Our receipt says they were new but the tech says they are refurbed. When we talked to Samsung they said that the serial number shows it as refurbed. this is going on 2 months, and still no one has even mention the oven. Calls keep going unanswered. I am telling even one I know and anyone asking for recomnedation about our experience with your company. Plus we are planning other actions if this isnt resolved immediately. Dont even get me started with what happened at delivery that it took 3 weeks and multiple deliveries to get it right. read more

One of the worst experiences I have ever had when spending $8,000 in a store. The wrong parts were delivered and broken. I drove down to pick up the new parts and when I got home they were the wrong parts again. My suggestion if you want to purchase anything from factory appliance is to make sure they give you an itemize list of prices including delivery and installation. They have changed their prices on me several times until my cost is $1000 more than the original bid. I have had to hire a private installer twice, once because I had the wrong parts, a second time because I need the right part installed, and they raised the price on me $700 between delivery and installation. Communication has been a nightmare, I have had to deal with up to the district manager level and things still do not get resolved. It feels like it is being run like a used car lot. read more

I recently purchased $1500 of appliances. At first I had a good experience. In the duration of the process the communication was very poor, having to wait weeks at a time for a return phone call or communication. Upon delivery the fridge was an inch larger than the opening and we had to try a different fridge. I was going to purchase another fridge in the right size and pay for delivery etc but the store insisted on charging me almost $200 to restock the fridge even though it wasn't special ordered and had come off the floor. Not to mention when the initial fridge arrived it was dented and the company wasn't interested in compensation for the damage. I asked for the company to waive the restock fee in lieu of me purchasing another fridge and they refused. I cancelled my order and won't work with this company again. read more

We were shopping for all new appliances for our remodeled kitchen--range hood, refrigerator, stove and dishwasher. Since my husband and I are both disabled, we have special needs for ALL appliances--can we reach inside or the top shelf? Can we see and operate all controls? Can we cook, bake and broil safely--without reaching over hot burners, without risk of catching hot pots with sleeves? When I called him about returning it, he told me to call Whirlpool, but I want it taken back and to get a full refund. This was the worst experience. My wife and I went into the 1045 Zuni St. Denver location to purchase a stove. Without fully understanding anything about residential ranges, we told the salesmen what our kitchen was like and he told us we could choose out of three ranges. He never asked us anything regarding ventilation, and considering this is the first range we have purchased we new nothing about downdraft, or telescoping downdrafts, etc... We purchased out range for $1618 plus $119 2yr warranty, $25.99 cord, $70 for delivery (waived) total with tax $1886.29 The delivery drivers(installers) came to our home, pulled out our old range, and saw the downdraft and said "OH you have a downdraft, we cannot touch it, it will take our custom guy" At that time we noticed a gas line, and we said "we could have got a gas range, cool" Please keep in mind our new range was still on their truck, in the box. The delivery guy said "Why don't you have us take this back and you can get a gas range" We replied with an "ok" So they left. A few hours later I received a call from the store manager Zach, and Zach said "you know we have to charge you a 25% restocking fee" Which was around $400. I replied "Zach we purchased the wrong type of stove, and we are coming to buy the correct one from you" He replied that their was nothing he could do. I tried to explain that one - The salesman did not fully explain to us, or ask us any questions regarding what type of range we needed, and your driver suggested to us to have them take it back. He had no flexibility. So I was not going to pay the restocking fee. I had them bring the range back thinking I could either sell it on Craigslist or find a way to use it. After about 10 days of trying to figure out a way to use it, I decided there was no chance of making it work. I was on CL and found a dual range downdraft range, but it was at a different Appliance Factory store. With great hesitation I decided to call them. I spoke with another salesman, and explained my entire situation. He was very helpful and called the District Manager of the Zuni location. His name is Jeff Bock. So the salesmen at the Parker location called me back and said that he could not do anything at his location due to the fact that I purchased the range at the Zuni location. Understandable. He told me that Zach the store manager would be giving me a call, and that they (Zuni) were going to make it right. Zach did call me, and said they would charge me a $100 restocking fee, plus the the difference in price considering the new range was more expensive. At this point I am desperate, and I agree to the $100. So he sent me a new invoice: Range $1999.98, Restocking fee $100, Delivery and drop off totaling $70, and another $119 for the 2 yr warranty. So he charged my card $612.83? Again in a desperate situation I just agreed and paid. We scheduled the delivery for Feb 8th at 2pm. So exactly three weeks with no range for our family of four. The driver Jeremy called me in the morning and said it would be more like 3pm, ok no problem. I recieved another call saying he could not be there until 5pm. Ok. I get another call saying he was leaving fort collins at 5pm so it would be more like 6:15. So Jeremy gets there at 7pm and was there installing until 9:30 ish. Jeremy was great, and no complaints about him, however I think it is the way they schedule their installers which should be in question. So now we have a range, and I come into my office this morning and go over the invoices, and realize they charged me for the 2yr warranty AGAIN. So I call Zach and try to go over the invoices with him and he could not explain to me over the phone where the extra money went. He told me I had to come into the store. I told him I am done dealing with him, and I want to talk to his manager. He refused to give me his manager's contact info, and told me that "my manager will not be coming into his store" So I had to threaten with Lawyers, and the BBB. Finally I received a call from Jeff(nice guy) and he explained to me the 2yr warranty charge saying that "you cannot see it on our invoices, only in the computer" He did admit to a $60.12 overcharge on their end. He decided to refund me the $100 restocking fee, plus my $60.12 fee. There is something wrong with this company. They seem to pull as much money out of you as possible, without taking anything into consideration. read more
