Hi I want to make a complaint but I don't know where to go so I'll just tell you guys I bought a Samsung refrigerator on at Appliance Factory April 25th. There was a dent in the refrigerator, but the seller said it was a new refrigerator, so I bought it. However, on May 1st, the day it was delivered, there was a problem with the refrigerator. The water dispenser wouldn't turn on, water wouldn't come out, and it wouldn't work. The main control panel didn't work, so I couldn't control the refrigerator temperature or the freezer temperature. So at first I asked nicely, why is there a problem and when will it be fixed? The person who fixes it said that someone would come and check it in two weeks, which didn't make sense. Then they said they would send a fixer on Monday. But the person who came on Monday wasn't there to fix it, but to see what the situation was. So I called the person who did the sales and he said he would call me back to look into it, so I waited for two days. When I called again and asked again, he said that the manager would call me first thing in the morning. So I waited until noon today, but I didn't get a call. So I called and the person who sold it to us wasn't working. I spoke to someone else again and they called me. i want return it But they said they wouldn't do it because it's against their company policy. They said they'd fix it, but I don't like that. I don't understand why I have to fix it when it's a new one with a dent. why I wait 2week more. why I buy my water and ice I wonder if it's because I don't speak English well, or because I'm Asian. I have nowhere to go to speak my poor English, and I want to express my grievances here even if it has to be translated. read more

Purchased a scratch and dent refrigerator they told me it would be a week for delivery. I took off work. The salesman called a day before delivery and said they had problems and couldn't deliver it. I made another appointment the following Wednesday and took off work again. I get another call saying there was another mix up. I told the salesman to at least give me free delivery and pick up and he said he would talk to his manager. In the meantime I called the president's hotline and left a message twice for a call back. This line is just for show because he never returned a call. The salesman called and said they have another problem that they lost the refrigerator I purchased. He said they could give me a similar one with $100 off. How do I know that this refrigerator is already $100 less expensive. I at least got a refund on everything. Update: The repair service came out for a 4th time today and the warranty company finally decided the unit is not worth fixing. They gave me in-store credit which is approximately half of what I paid 2.5 years ago. They will pay to uninstall and haul away the defective unit, but I will have to pay to have a new unit delivered and installed. How is that good customer service after 2.5 years? What a scam and terrible customer service. Stay away from Samsung appliances and stay away from Appliance Factory! read more

I bought a GE refrigerator in December 2024. The icemaker would not produce correct Cube size. I called the business and explained the problem. The response was, "contact the manufacturer. " I contacted GE and the problem has not been resolved. The icemaker has been leaking water now and the inlet valve is faulty. I am now thinking the control board is also a problem. My advice to people is to avoid buying from this company. They will not help resolve any issues. Buyer Beware! read more

I found an Ad for an Induction Burner stove on Facebook Marketplace, and went to see James at the Store. From the first moment to the last after installation, the experience was not only top-notch, but fun talking with James and then again with Anthony and his partner (totally forgot to ask his name again) when they came to install the unit. After finding one that we liked, the sales associate said he couldn't sell it to us unless we purchased a matching washer (new, no discount) as well. They didn't have one in the warehouse and would have to order it at full price. Needless to say, we left and found a great deal at another store. So, I bought a freezer from Appliance with the extended warrant. This freezer quit working early June 202. I buy my beef direct from a rancher. I had $1500 of beef in this freezer when it quite freezing. on June 7, 2023 the extended warranty sent out a repair man. He looked at the freezer said he need two parts to fix the freezer, that Whirlpool makes the freeze, they should get the parts by Friday. Two weeks go buy, I call again and hear they can't get the parts. it is close to the end of July. DON't BUY FRO FACTORY APPLIANC. THEY DON'T STAND BEHIND THERE PRODUCTS. read more

I completed a review upon completion of my refrigerator purchase in Sept 2024 for which I gave the store 5 stars. I am downgrading due to what appears to be a corporate scam on delivery fees. I was told upon purchase that delivery fee was $29.99 for delivery to my door. The fee for delivery & installation was $59.99. I was charged at the time of purchase for both, but assured that I would be credited for the $29.99 once the delivery was complete. When I had not receive a credit on my visa by early November, I called the store. I was then informed that I needed to request a "rebate" using an online form. The online form would not accept my appliance information. I called the store again for help which they kindly gave. I received an email that my rebate request would be processed within 6-8 weeks. It stated that "if additional info is required you would be contacted by email." If I had questions I could "contact our team at ." No contact info. I just used that email to check the status (early December) and it says my rebate request has been denied. But I never received any email requesting more information. Inflation is caused by corporate greed. This is a prime example of how they raise profits by ripping off consumers! I like my appliance and the sales service I received, but if I were ever to shop here again I would insist that the $29.99 charge be removed at the time of purchase. Beware! read more

I'm a landlord so frequently have the need to purchase appliances. On May 20th purchased a brand new refrigerator after the old one completely died. I explained that it was an emergency and need to get a replacement ASAP. The earliest they could deliver would be the 24th. The 24th comes and they deliver a refrigerator that was dented so badly they couldn't open the door. They promised to expedite a replacement. Received a call at 7:30 AM on the 26th stating that they would deliver in two hours. No prior notice of the delivery so I was unable to change my schedule. Called today to find status of the delivery and they stated it wasn't on the schedule. It's now scheduled for the 31st. explaining just the facts, you can decide from here if you want to do business with these guys. June 2nd update---They delivered the refrigerator today, which was the first available date since the 26th. Received a call at 7:16 in the AM the day of the delivery. The delivery team marked up the walls of the second story Townhome pretty good. Most of the marks will clean up except for the drywall that was dented and the texture remove. After selling me a dishwasher for almost $700 I call today and they tell me the product "doesn't exist"? My wife and I went in a few days ago to buy a portable GE dishwasher that we were assured was in the warehouse in Thornton and would be delivered by the end of the week. So I call today to check on the status and the guy on the phone tells me there was a mix up and the dishwasher "doesn't exist". Seriously? How does that even happen? And when would they have told us had I not called? Now we have to wait 3-5 business days for a large sum of money to get back to our bank account all because of their incompetence. This location seems to have a bad wrap. We had a pretty good experience here for a new washer and dryer. They were attentive and courteous. Not overbearing but they gave us as much attention as we wanted. We had all of our questions answered. They didn't pressure us into anything and worked with us to coordinate pickup at their location a couple of days later. The reason I'm giving this location a 3 star review is because of the lack of follow through. Our salesman neglected to mention that he was not going to be there on the day that he told us to come back for pickup. He didn't find a manual for the dryer that he sold us from the floor like he said he was going to. My #1 complaint is when I arrived 2 days later to pickup both machines, the one that we had purchased and paid for from the floor was nowhere to be found. It had not been set aside with the new one we ordered when it came in. I found it though. It was still sitting on the sales floor. Nope, it wasn't even marked as sold, reserved, or anything which would have indicated that it was unavailable for purchase. The associate who helped me even said, "Wow, we're lucky this thing is still even here with the price tag on it." Good stuff across the board with this chain. 1-24-2020 I purchased 3 appliances for $6,332.45 7-6-2020 The freezer on the $3,000 fridge stopped working 7-7-2020 I made the first of 73 (I counted on my cell phone bill) dreadful calls to their repair group, Brand Source. 9-25-2020 Final resolution (literally took 81 days) In January 2020 I purchased an appliance package from Appliance Factory. In July the Freezer stopped working. I called the repair number on the receipt several times on Monday and no one answered. On Tuesday I was finally able to reach them. The soonest I could get an appointment was one week. I would have liked something sooner as I don't have another Freezer. The repair person said he reset the panel which might work, but he also ordered a part just in case. The Freezer was not working so I called back. They said the part was ordered and they would be back the following Tuesday. No one showed on Tuesday so I called back. They rescheduled me for the next day. The repair person came back out, installed the part, and told me the freezer was working and left. The freezer was not working. I called back and was told it would be another week before he would come back out. They refused to come out any earlier even though I was told my freezer was working. On the 3rd visit I was told it was the compressor. This is where things really got ridiculous. They could not tell me when they would get a compressor. I told them they just need to give me my money back. I spent weeks calling daily, the reps were becoming extremely rude and would not give my money back. After about 3 weeks of frustration they told me it would be 8 more weeks for a compressor. They finally agreed they would give me my money back. It took another week for them to pick up the broken fridge and two more weeks for the refund. I would not be so upset if they just would have given me a refund after the 3rd visit. I was beyond frustrated on how long it took to reach the very reasonable resolution I was requested after the 3rd repair visit. This caused me to have no freezer for a month longer than was necessary. Do not buy from Appliance Factory. read more

This place came highly rated from friends. Well...guess we're on our friends naughty list to have been sent here. Sadly, we were assisted by a gentleman who claimed to be the General Manager (Dayton), who we thought we could trust and purchase with confidence. Well, this devil had us good. We purchased 2 refrigerators and a gas stove. Now one of the refrigerators was a Samsung that had been deeply discounted due to what we thought and were told to be just external cosmetic damages to the unit but was assured it was in perfect running order. They also let us know it would not carry a warranty. That should have been the big red flag. We asked again to the General Manager, Dayton, that the unit was in good running order. Again, he assured us it was. Fast forward to the drop off and getting the unit running. The first night we turned it on the freezer failed to get cold. It was only able to bring the temperature down to 28 degrees. By the next morning it had ceased cooling and the temperature rose to 50 degrees and it stopped working. The refrigerator side was still cool but the freezer was inoperative. Now it looks as though it's going to cost nearly $1,000 to fix the unit that we were promised worked fine. So we'll have paid for a brand new refrigerator that has damage on the exterior. I guess trying to save a buck has its consequences. Never again, will we shop at this location or any of Appliance Factory Store locations. read more

Buyers beware!! This is a scummy, and sleazy place. I ordered a part for my washer and since it was around the holidays they said if they ordered it that day it would arrive a week and a half later. So I ordered it and waited the week and a half and when I went to pick it up they tried to sell me a used part! They lied about ordering the part and tried to pawn off a part that had been laying around for who knows how long. So we got our money back but I am very pissed off that I went almost two weeks without a washer and now I have to wait another week to get the part from a respectable establishment. read more

tl;dr version: Avoid the headache and buy from ANYONE else. We purchased a new dishwasher over the black friday sale weekend. I should have known that it was a mistake to purchase anything from them just based on the reception we had when we entered the store. No one greeted us, and when a salesman did finally come up and help, he seemed offended when we stated that we knew exactly what we wanted to purchase (because what consumer doesn't do some research before going into a store). However, we decided that since we were there, we'd trust the brand enough to give them our business. We were surprised to hear that we had to wait over 2 weeks for it to be delivered and installed (December 16th), but decided to proceed. I was supposed to get a call telling me a delivery window -- I never received that call. The morning of the delivery, I had to call Appliance Factory 2 or 3 times before they got me an answer about when I could expect the delivery. How are working professionals supposed to handle this lack of communication as they're planning their workday? While I didn't feel great about a few actions taken by the installers (i.e., tearing out pieces of my cabinet with pliers to make room for a water line, talking openly about "should we just plug in instead of taking the time to hardwire it, even though the last one was hardwired in"), I thought that it was done competently. Since I'm not a plumber, I trusted that they knew what they were doing. I was wrong. Less than 2 weeks of use, and it's getting a ton of back flow from the sink. Since we've been given the runaround from the store every time we try to call, have been hung-up on, and now aren't receiving a call back with a date/time for someone to come out and fix it, I'm trying this to see if it finally gets their attention. read more

I selected this store online and purchased a new fridge. Next day I get a call to say they don't have it, but they have one that is like new from the front. I agreed and they gave me $150 off. I said i could come pick it up but they said it wasn't at the store, but in the warehouse. I told them that was fine and i could pick it up same day, but they needed a day or two to get it ready? Then he said they could deliver it for me. Ok that sounds great, except it would be an extra $100.. and not only that but since it was only a couple of days away i was charged next day delivery?.. and saturday extra cost. This like new fridge ended up being more expensive than new. The fridge was delivered on time, but missing a screw to the door handle. I called, they said they would take care of it. I even dropped by the evens store (where they had a screw) but wouldn't give me on saying they have nothing to do with the online part but they would also look into it. That was a week ago. No call, email, text... nothing. So $2k for a newish fridge with no door handles. I will never shop here again. Crap. read more

We purchased a refrigerator 6/23, last Tuesday. Our salesman told us we could get Saturday delivery for an additional $10 and that we would get a call Friday between 4-8pm with our delivery window the next day, Saturday. When we didn't get the call on Friday we called their "Presidents Hotline" which was a recording saying that they would get back to you. I Left a message asking for a call regarding our delivery window. No call back from the "Presidents Hotline." When I called Saturday morning I pretty much got the old uhh. umm, and nobody could say if we were scheduled for delivery. Finally, after calling three times, I reached Isabelle (sp) and she was able to tell me that we were in fact "not going to get our refrigerator today" So where we are now is we are scheduled for Monday 6/29 and were once again told we would be called with a delivery window. Service during purchase and delivery was fine, but DO NOT buy an extended warranty if there is any chance you'll be leaving Colorado. Bought an Electrolux washer & dryer in Feb 2015 and less than 2 years later we ended up moving to Arkansas. The dryer broke and I'm still under warranty and I called to see about repair and they brushed me off. The warranty company they contract with only services Colorado, and they basically just passed me off to them. I even called back to talk to a manager to see what they could do for me and he said he'd look into it and never bothered to call me back. Waste of $180 per appliance, and now I'm on the hook for the $300 repair. read more

Also, I bought a used dishwasher, when I took it home and installed it I learned that the door was leaking water. Note if you need a replacement for a product found non-repairable, you will pay sales tax and delivery on the new warranty replacement product. YAY you get screwed. Don't go here. Ever. If anything at all goes wrong, as in they make a mistake, they will tell you "sorry, corporate said we couldn't help you on that," among other terrible customer service. The folks that work there are just fine people, but the company has multiple umbrellas going on, so for instance, if you have to make a warranty claim, you get shuffled to a "different" company (under the same umbrella) and they each blame the other one when they fall short (which, trust me, they will). It took over 3 months and 4 tech visits for them to actually fix a dryer on a warranty. When they delivered two dryers by accident, I was told they didn't have the time or manpower to make it right, and my responsibility to bring it back and pick up the washer. read more

The manager Ken and sales rep Pat have been so helpful and accommodating every time I've been in. All the staff is very knowledgeable. Unfortunately had to give a star just to rate. THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING. Absolute disgrace. Third refridgerator received from them as a replacement in 3 weeks. First two stopped working in initial 24 hours. Third is filled with black mold. Coming from the motors all the way to under trim panels and exterior. Was told by their store manager, it's above his pay grade to deal with this. Also, that it's not his problem since product was signed for. We have been living out of coolers for about a month now. Corporate office has done nothing either. They will not remove fridge from our house even though they delivered a toxic product. Better business bureau has been contacted as well as state of Colorado health department. This is disgusting and cannot wait to see them in court. Do not even get me started on delivery process. Zero sense of urgency and once product arrive at our house it was to late to contact any appropriate individuals, which in the long run doesn't matter as they do not care about health and safety let alone give you a call back. Person who delivered and installed microwave and dishwasher shook down my wife for $225 to drill three holes in addition to the $250.00 installation charge I was told about. Then said he would only charge $100.00 if she paid that portion to him in cash. Rest of appliances were promised later in the day, but they never showed. Three calls later - was told it would be three days before they would be there - even though they were "on the truck" that morning. Always some other person's fault. Salesman said they would refund my delivery charges, but that will never happen. Just like no one will ever call me about the $100.00 as he promised. Real shady. read more

Rethink about buying here. I purchased a washer and dryer which were delivered scratched and dented. I refused them and got my many back. I was taken to small claims court for $146. They told me I owed them for taking my old washer and dryer which they did not do. The judge found no fault and it was dismissed. Their lawyer apologized for such a silly suit. Cost me $18 for parking. All it would have taken was a phone call or letter to clear this up. What a waste of time and money on both parties. read more

I bought a used refrigerator from this establishment at the end of January. Fortunately I paid for the 1yr warranty because in less than 5 months, the machine ceased to get cold. Not a big deal, as this is always the risk of buying used. So I called the store to schedule the replacement on a Tuesday. The delivery was scheduled for Saturday. The delivery guys show up and upon trying to unload the replacement fridge, crush the wall plug rendering the machine useless. At this point I've been without a working refrigerator for a solid week and though frustrated at the situation, I understand that it was an accident and these things happen. So next, I call the store from where I bought the machine. This is where the real customer service magic happened. The sales manager Sam said the best he could do to reconcile the mistake his company had made in destroying the new unit, was to put me at the end of the delivery wait list and put me without a fridge for another week. I did not think that was appropriate given the party responsible was his business. I asked that he do it sooner at which he said "Thursday is the best I can do, may be Saturday. Or I can just do nothing." At which time, he proceeded to hang up on me and direct me to the corporate customer service line. It is not end of business on Monday and I have yet to hear back. I was flabbergasted that businesses with such rude and unprofessional managers are somehow still in business. So still without a fridge that I paid for and uncertain as to when this company will resolve the issue they caused. I am unbelievably frustrated. I called three times before someone told me on Tuesday morning that I was scheduled for Weds. I was given a window of 4:30-6:30... it is now 7:30 pm and I'm still waiting for delivery. If I could give negative stars I would give a -100. The installation of my microwave, dishwasher and stove were performed wrong - 2 years ago and that was the sign of all signs.. My new induction stove had its first repair 3 weeks after install and 5-6 after that and error codes along the way in between repairs. We had their extended warranty which turned out to be a joke. I was told that a repair tech had to be called out for the same problem 3 times and then it would be considered lemon and replaced. No such luck.. 1 month before expiration and after yet another code and several calls, the truth is that their joint warranty company makes that call and will just repair, repair until warranty runs out.. so as a customer we wait and see if the oven will error out while baking potatoes or a roast and the latest last night for having rice boil over on the cooktop and my oven threw a code and was not operational 4 days before the holidays - warranty up by 4 months!!! So save your $$$ go to Lowes or Home Depot because they stand behind what they sell - Appliance Factory sucks you in for a low cost appliance that literally burns you on the end!! read more

I had seen some good reviews on Yelp so I decided to check it out. A man greeted me at the door and even though I told him I needed some time to look he tried to sell me a dented refrigerator and told me he could give me a deal on it. I told him I wasn't interested and he completely walked away. Another woman helped me in a more sincere manner; she gave me some pricing, etc. I came back later that night and the same man approached us and started talking about all of the refrigerators he showed me (which he really didn't) even when I told him someone else had been helping me. I figured he was trying to stake his claim on a commission and just wouldn't leave us alone. It was all just so high pressure and frankly felt like buying a used car from someone. I ended up going somewhere else and getting a better price because I didn't want to stop in there again. Ice maker not installed 3. no return calls despite promises and no responses to numerous emails starting at same day as delivery. 4. Item delivered not in box, and appears to be used. Just want item returned and credit issued. Have filed complaint with Colorado AG's office. Draw your own conclusions. 4-27; 7:45pm "Today" as the business responded, came and went with NO CONTACT or attempted resolution. What a joke! Stay far away from this place . First off I contacted Rick by phone in the morning when they opened and we had discussed the purchase of a stainless steel refrigerator. We were in kinda of a hurry to purchase a new refrigerator as our current unit had finally quit working and we were concerned about keeping the proteins ( meats) safe . My question to Rick was could we arrange a same day delivery and he said it could be arranged for $ 140.00 for the rush order versus their usual delivery fee of $ 75.00 . I said okay because we really needed something that day . Well he called back and said that now they can't deliver because it's not what their delivery team can do even though earlier he said they could . I suppose that should have been my first red flag but I gave them the benefit of the doubt . I then called Rick back after thinking about another option which was to borrow a truck from a friend and come pick up a refrigerator which he said , sure they had plenty of them in stock and several that would fit my specific size needs . So I made the arrangements to borrow a vehicle and head that way but just before I left I thought I better call just to make sure of the price and availability and Rick said that he would double check the price and availability and call me right back within 10 or 15 minutes,,I waited for an hour and a half ! So now I'm thinking I've borrowed a truck I'll just drive down there . When I walked into the place it was quiet and I didn't see a soul in sight . So I walked down the stairs and to my right we're two sales people one of them Rick who was laying down on a mattress which made me furious, he's got time to lie down on the clock but can't return a phone call WTF ! I said that I was the one that was in need of a fridge today and could he show me the units we had previously discussed . I felt like he wasn't very helpful and all he could show me was refrigerators that were scratched or dented or both . I thought well I'll keep an open mind even though this wasn't discussed earlier , after looking at the S&D units I found one that seemed like it's something I could live with but there wasn't a price on the unit . Rick said he would check on the price and be right back . Rick showed up 15 minutes later and said sorry that one has been sold but no one bothered to put a sold sticker on the unit. After this all I wanted to do is get the hell out of there and told him as much . He didn't care and chuckled about it so I then I told him I didn't appreciate him laying around on the job and I would be contacting their corporate office . My two cents is this place is sketchy at best and if Rick is any indication of the quality of sales people they employ do your self a favor and shop somewhere else. read more
