My new washing machine arrived today and when they moved out the old POS appliance king one to hopefully take straight to the dump - there was clearly an oil leak all over my floor. (See the last photo) Appliance King responded to this review on Google to say they have no recollection of me in their system, I'll give them a hint - I paid for the repair to be done the 2nd time with my card. The range that I purchased at this store (which is no longer in the location where I purchased it) worked for exactly 14 months and 6 days. The entire time the burners on the stove never worked correctly or rarely at best and the oven had similar problems. By not working correctly I mean you would select medium heat for one of the burners and find it heating at the highest (boil) level and then intermittently varying the level of heat. The oven also did not heat correctly but with a little experimentation and trial and error I learned to adjust to these oddities. Now 14 months and 6 days after I purchased this item from Appliance King the oven's heating unit caught on fire in two spots. I luckily was standing near the unit and noticed that it was on fire (in two spots) and I just turned the oven off and that took care of the problem but the oven does not work at all now. So I dug out the receipt and reviewed the "Warranty" information and this is the exact way their 6 month warranty was worded "6 month warranty - (IF NOT IN THE FOLLOWING CITIES (BOISE - EAGLE - MERIDIAN - STAR-KUNA - MIDDLETON - CALDWELL, AND NAMPA), ITEM MUST BE BROUGHT TO APPLIANCE KING FOR WARRANTY REPAIR) Notice the word NOT here in the first line of this "Warranty. In other words, the warranty is NOT in effect if you live in the Treasure Valley area (where you purchase anything from them). Based on how it's worded it means to me that there IS NO WARRANTY AT ALL UNLESS YOU DO NOT LIVE IN THIS AREA. Not that the 6 month warranty would have helped me but I find it odd that this company offers a 6 month warranty ONLY if you DON'T live in this area. I will now be looking for another range but I can guarantee that I won't be purchasing anything from Appliance King. And I will be examining the "Warranty" before I pay for another range. read more

Very poor customer service. The technician came out to replace the pump in our washer machine. He was on site just 20 minutes, told me everything was fine and left. Come to find out there was no water coming in. Called the office very soon after explaining what was happening and was told that it would be two more days before he would come back. And to say the least I was very disappointed and amazed that no accommodation made to correct whatever was wrong and I was made to feel like I must have done something wrong. So basically, I spent money, waited 2 weeks and was at the same place I started. No working machine. I will never recommend this business to anyone. Good customer service is still important which this business lacks. read more

I have called on Appliance King when needing repairs have always received excellent service on a timely fashion.

Ed came out to fix my dryer and man this guy really knew his stuff. Knocked it out lickity split. I mentioned my washer was acting a little funky. He popped it open and had a part on his truck and boom fixed my washer too and I wasn't even expecting it. I was so impressed by the knowledge and kindness. I'm a customer for life! Really honest and professional from the nice woman who answers the phone all the way to the great technician. I am a happy customer read more

We have used them twice now to fix a dryer we purchased from RC Willey (I don't recommend buying anything from RC Wiley) but that's a different story. I was able to make an appointment and they came out right away. They are reasonably priced and know what they are doing. I would highly recommend them! read more

They sell junk. Don't buy from here. Their ratings are going down all over the Internet, I have noticed.

I called Appliance King to come out for our gas stove that had 3 of the 5 burners not working. The technician looked up the model number and said they probably don't make controllers and igniters for our model anymore and that we would probably have to replace the stove. He thought a new one would start at around $500. He took his service payment and left. He never opened it or offered any other solutions. My husband looked the parts up on Amazon, ordered them and replaced them for $300. New stoves started at around $1200. I would recommend finding another business that might be willing to look up parts and do the work. We were hoping to lighten the burden on my husband who is already horribly busy. Save the $45 service call. Find someone else. read more
