I had an issue with dishwasher leaking so I filed a claim with my home warranty company and got stuck with this company. The lady I spoke to was very friendly and nice but the technician was unqualified. He came to my residence 4 times and each time a new problem occurred. Finally he determined there was a hole caused by a knife which was impossible! Thankfully sears came out and took care of the problem within 30 minutes of being there. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

Terrible service! My home warranty service stuck me with these guys. It took them 4 days to come out and after pushing buttons and talking to himself for nearly 2 hours the repair guy said he didn't know what to do. He told me they aren't equipped with tech support and I'd have to use another company. Not to mention he stunk like cigarettes and stunk up my house. read more

I called Appliance Pros due to the high rating. The initial call out was for an ice maker freezing up. The repairman was professional and prompt. He diagnosed the freezer and determined we needed a new ice maker. The new ice maker had to be ordered and the order and full repair had to be paid up front. After four weeks, I received a call that the part was in and ready to be scheduled for installation. The initial appointment was scheduled for a Wednesday between the hours of 12 & 3. At 2:30 I received a call that the repairman was called out on an emergency and we would need to reschedule (I understand, emergencies happen). However, I asked that our next appointment be scheduled with a smaller time window in order to reduce the amount of time being taken off work. The new appointment was scheduled for Friday between 12 & 1. At 1:15 I called the company since the repairman was still a no show. The person answering stated, "she didn't realize he was running late." I never received a call or an apology. I asked that they cancel my appointment, refund the $$$, and I would have a different company come out to install the product. I would expect better customer service and customer value from this company (especially after a product had been paid in full). I will update this again once I see how much money is refunded. If you value your time, I would not recommend this company. read more

Let's just say I have not always had the best experience with appliance repairs. Usually the time frame for arrival is moved several times and it may take a few trips to fix the problem. However James B with Appliance Pros was on time, with a time frame of 8-11 he was here at 9:30. He was able to pinpoint the issue (which had been looked at the year before and we were told there was no problem) he explained that the part had been redesigned by the manufacturer and he had the part on hand. He cleaned up before he left and was very professional. I hope to not need them again but would certainly call if I needed. read more

Let me start off by saying when my washer was broken, I called another company (see my other yelp reviews) and that "company" came out to give a "diagnosis," charged me $50 and then never returned my calls! I waited for over a week with a broken washer, and called numerous other companies who either didn't work on Samsung washers, or never returned my voicemails. So after much frustration, I was recommended to Appliance Pros by a family friend. They were able to come out the following week, after having ordered the part that the 1st company told me I needed. When the repair man showed up to complete the repair, he found I actually didn't need that part (drain pump) but my sensor was broken! Since I have a Samsung, the parts all have to be ordered, so they ordered the sensor and then came out the following week to install. They didn't even charge me for the part they had originally purchased, which I am SO grateful for! The repairman, I believe his name was Scott, was very kind and helpful and always gave a personal call to let me know when he was on his way! They could have easily told me I needed both parts installed, and I would have not known, but he was honest and told me which I really needed and that is the MOST important thing to me when it comes to hiring anyone for repairs- HONESTY! I am so grateful for this company's honesty and getting the job done, and I believe they will be blessed with great business as long as they continue. Prompt service was great. Repairman that showed up not so great. Samsung Dryer issue was just a spring that had come off and caused the belt to slip. Repairman seemed puzzled about how to remove cover and front of dryer. He finally located the last screw that allowed the front to release. I wanted a photo for my records of the spring laying on the bottom of dryer. Repairman says, "why are you taking a picture"? It's my dryer in my home. I can take any photograph I want regarding what caused my dryer to stop working. When finished, he would not provide me with an invoice because I would not give him an email address. That's my right to not provide if I choose but what if it's somebody who does not have email? They should always have a paper invoice for customer! As he was leaving walking down my hallway his repair bag hit my wall leaving a black mark. I asked him to please be careful he just hit my wall. It was a scuff mark that I knew would probably just scrub off but he had the audacity to stop and look at the mark he had just made on my wall and said, "are you sure it was me"? I said to him, really? You're going to stand in my home and call me a liar when I watched it happen? That pissed me off! I told him to get out of my home! read more

I would be quick to recommend Appliance Pros. They are courteous and prompt and take care of their customers. I want to give a shout out to James. He went above and beyond. My freezer door would not open so we had to defrost it in order to get it fixed. James unplugged it and came back the next day but it still needed more time. This was on Friday so I was afraid I would have to go through the weekend without a refrigerator. I'm wheelchair bound so this would be quite difficult. James came back late Friday afternoon to make sure I got my refrigerator back for the weekend. He even swept behind it for me before he put it back. AMAZING SERVICE!!! The seal on our Samsung front load washer was leaking, which caused water to leak on the laundry room floor every time we ran a load. Called Samsung and got referred to Appliance Pros for this warranty issue. Customer service to get our appointment scheduled: FANTASTIC (a repairman showed up in less than one hour after we made our first call because he just happened to be on another job in the same area). First repairman arrived, diagnosed problem, called Samsung, and ordered part in less than 30 minutes. He was prompt, friendly, easygoing, and knowledgeable. He did a great job (this was on a Thursday afternoon). On Saturday morning, the customer service lady at Appliance Pros called to tell us the part just came in, and if we are home they could come right now to install it!! Second repair guy was Johnny on the Spot and showed up at our house about 10 minutes later. He installed the new part and was done in about 20 minutes. He did ask us to leave a review if we could. We are happy to write a review for this company because they were timely and professional at every turn. They moved with a sense of urgency to fix our washer. They did an AMAZING JOB!!! Not sure what happened in the previous reviews. We can only speak to our experience, which was great. We were kinda left speechless...because this company seemed more concerned about fixing our leaky washer than we were!! We have nothing but positive things to say. They were determined to get it done, and get it done right. They are the most customer oriented and professional company we've dealt with in a while. In early November my washer broke. I waited a few weeks before a technician arrived. At the time, the washing machine had several error codes. The technician repaired what he believed was causing the fatal error. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, I did not use the washing machine. A week later, I finally used it. When I used the machine, it made a slight sound and did not properly ring out a small load of towels. I contacted the company to request a call back. I was told to contact my warranty company which I did. I had to wait another three weeks. Today, the service man arrived. I was told that the machine had no error codes and was working fine. I explained that I had a few towels that I could run through the cycle so he could see first hand. I was told it was not necessary as the machine was working fine. Needless to say, my washer is not ringing out the clothes and the spin cycle is making a sound. It certainly is not fixed! I'm frustrated because I was told to wash my towels in cold water instead of warm. The cycle uses less water and has a faster spin cycle. Hmm, instead of fixing the problem let's go ahead and create a work around. Thankfully, the warranty company is sending another company to our rescue. read more
