Purchased our Speed Queen washer/dryer set on 7/29/2025. It was installed 2 weeks later. On 8/17/2025 the dryer is not putting out any heat. Spent over $1,300 for the dryer and I have to set up a clothes line to dry my clothes because "speed queen" can't get to us for a week at best, not to mention the run around I got to get someone to service our unit and being on hold for over 20 min every time I tried to call the Speed Queen help line. Wow! This place is amazing. I bought a refrigerator after measuring twice to be sure it would fit in the spot designated. I'll admit I was feeling pretty proud of myself and my wife was grateful to not have to do all of the comparison shopping. I went quickly from hero to zero once it was delivered and installed. I will say, "technically" it fit, as long as we didn't need to open the right side door! Well, I do need the right side door to open since that's the only way to get the food. My wife was tad bit upset and called them that night as I headed off to work. They said we would hear from them the next morning, so I put in my mouth guard and boxing gloves ready to fight. They called the next morning as promised but instead of a fight the had a suggestion for a new fridge that would fit appropriately, and a plan to get everything switched out expeditiously. I do magic at parties, but this time it was my turn to have my mind blown. No fighting, no finger pointing, no guilt or hassles; just solutions with a smile. Amazing. I will never buy a large appliance anywhere else. Royce is the man! Such a life saver! My home warranty company screwed me over on fixing my oven before the holidays as promised, they notified me of this on Monday before thanksgiving! So I called around to find something I like that was available for immediate pickup. Royce was so helpful! After reading all of the horror stories about delivery issues of new appliances from the big box stores, we decided to give an independent store a chance and I'm glad we did. The entire experience at Appliances Unlimited was quick and pleasant. When we went to the store to shop for a washer, Kevin the salesman helped us by describing the different brands and their features. He was helpful but not pushy. We decided on a Whirlpool 4.3 cu top load washer. Their prices are not the lowest but they are fair. Kevin told us that delivery would take between 7 to 10 working days and he would call to let us know the exact date and time, which is what he did. David the deliveryman came today (Day 10) and installed the new washer and removed the old one. He also arrived within the 3-hour time period as promised. Ordered a gas wall unit for my parents. They installed it and the door would not close all the way, about 3/4 in gap between door and oven. Some rude guy came out to fix the door, replace the spring. He did and when I went over there for thanksgiving, the door on the oven was installed uneven and the door still did not close all the way. My parents ended up using magnets to keep the door closed. Wow we paid about $1800 for this oven and now it does not close and the door is lop sided. Not sure what to do anymore, there is no good service out there. read more

Long story short Appliances Unlimited is great and we highly recommend them. Our double oven went out and while in the process of looking for a new one we originally decided Lowes had what we needed so we contracted with them to come out and measure to confirm what we wanted would fit in our existing cutout. What a mistake, the person that came out not only had to reschedule several times but also didn't even measure our current cutout correctly. Additionally, he noted we had a gas oven when it is electric. So needless to say we moved on from Lowes and decided to find a local vendor with customer service and a good product. That is exactly what we found with Appliances Unlimited, we not only got a good price they diligently came out and measured on time, delivered the new oven and installed it with great care. We were so happy with them we decided to go back a few weeks later and buy a new fridge as the new oven just looked too good next to the old fridge. Ricardo was helpful in selecting my washer/dryer; however, when I went to use the washer, I had a few questions, he was rude and said he is "unfamiliar" with this product. Basically, he did not want to help me. The installers were super nice! I told him Royce, the previous owner, would have never treated me like this. Also, my dryer didn't have a light when you open the door. I told him I didn't know dryers came without a light. He said I should have asked! I'm so disappointed. Anyway, that was my experience. At least he could have called me back to apologize and try to help me. Good customer service is what keeps you coming back, as I would rather not use the big box stores. One word....... AMAZING! Not what I expected from a local appliance store! I've been shopping around for a specific refrigerator for the last several months. Went to the big chain stores, Pacific Sales, Best Buy, Costco ( online), Amazon, none of them had it in stock or knew when it would be available. REALLY! It didn't end there.... the fridge was so big the delivery guys had to remove my front door, they carefully brought it through and set it in place! I noticed once they left a couple of bumps and bruises on two (2) of the 4 doors, no fault of theirs, they were extremely careful!! Royce owned it all those years and was a pleasure to work with . We recently bought a LG dishwasher from Ricardo the new owner in July. This dishwasher is a lemon and has been grief since we bought it. We have contacted LG and after numerous service calls still having problems. We have contacted Ricardo and asked for his help as he would have more influence with LG as he sells their products. no help there. we are still getting the run around from LG .It is not the same store as it was when Royce owned it. I ordered a refrigerator from a local business, Appliances Unlimited, in early July. Refrigerator was due for install in early August. Made calls to check on status but no return calls received. By the second week in September, I decided to call for status daily. On 10/7/20, Royce call the warehouse to find there were no orders coming in that matched my order. Royce advised that all he could do was refund my money. Customer service was extremely poor. No status call backs and no offer for help to find another refrigerator. I ordered the refrigerator because I needed one, not because I wanted to spend money. After order cancellation, I ordered a new refrigerator from Samsung directly. that is now scheduled for delivery in early October. So much for doing business locally. read more

Just had an oven installed, installation was fine.. preheat worked.. But the next day preheat took over 2 hours... Called Appliances and Royce called Frigidaire since my call was dropped twice . He gave me a name and was told the window of time was 8-5!.Told him it was unacceptable and unreasonable. He gave me name and number of the warranty company Michael's Appliance in Tarzana.. The person was not very helpful.. Decided not to go w/any of the warranty companies because they ALL HAD 2 STAR RATINGS AND NUMBEROUS COMPLAINTS. I have resorted to using my regular repair appliance person who showed up the day I called.. He ordered the part... I will say customers franom Lowes and Home Depot uses the same warranty people so be aware... U are better off ignoring the one year mfg. warranty and paying for the repair..
