The vault was really amazing with an extensive selection of high end wine. The website is really nice to use and seach inventory. I was looking for a specific Armenian wine that I couldnt find in Santa Barbara or SYV, and I had a Paso trip planned. I was happy to have found it at this store by searching the website. I called the day before and asked about purchasing online and picking up. They said no problem, they will pull and hold for me. The next day I stopped by and asked for the hold. A very rude lady accused me of always holdng items and not picking up (short, short hair). She said my name quite loudly. She said "let's be honest here Lisa, you have done this before". I had never been to this store or asked for wine to be held prior to this. Others in my party left and would not purchase because of this behavior. It was embarrassing. The other staff were very nice and helpful. In summary, it is a beautiful liquor store with an amazing selection of wine and spirits at fair prices, great website, and most of the staff at helpful and lovely.

This cheese shop is clearly doing something right. The space is charming, the selection impressive,…read moreand the quality of ingredients speaks for itself. But if you're planning a visit, build in serious buffer time. We stopped in on Memorial Day and, with several parties ahead of us in line, didn't place our order until nearly 20 minutes after arriving. By the 45-minute mark, our food still hadn't come out for two paninis and a soup. What made it especially frustrating was watching parties who arrived after us get their cheese orders and drinks served before anyone had even started assembling our sandwiches. It was clear the shop was understaffed for the holiday weekend, with one person managing the counter and another in the back prepping. We ended up asking to take the sandwiches cold just to get out the door, only to have both stuffed into one small bag, sloppily wrapped. The soup, unfortunately, came out lukewarm regardless. None of this felt malicious. The shop has an unhurried, artisanal quality that's part of its appeal, but that can't fully account for the gap between the experience and a nearly hour-long wait for a simple lunch order while others moved ahead of us. Come for the cheese, come for the atmosphere. Just don't come hungry with anywhere to be.

I was more interested in sampling their collection and it did not disappoint. The host was gracious to let us try several bottles of gin, vodka and bourbon. Personally, to my surprise, I liked the really deep and rich flavors of their top shelf bourbon. The Chocolate Love vodka was quite the surprise. My friend loved it and I had to get at least one bottle through I really should have gotten three. Great vodka flavors with a nice hint of chocolate. Personally, I recommend going inside to get the full service tasting and go outside for a cocktail to enjoy during those wonderful last afternoons.

Instead they stood there talking amongst themselves and ignored our party. It was very hot out about 4:30 and so we tried to go inside the air conditioned bar area and we were told it was closed. They said we could get a beer and stand inside the brewery portion behind their outdoor bar area. Apparently they expect their customers to stand inside their open air brewery in the heat. No thank you. We left. Pretty sad since it was late in the day and most businesses were closed. We were there to have dinner close y and thought we would stop for a pre dinner drink. Try it or call ahead and make sure they don't have their air conditioned area closed.

We called to say that we were running a little behind which they were ok with. When we arrived, we were the only one there. The property itself isn't that big. Somewhat of an industrial area. A cute little seating area on the patio followed by a cozy lounge area and then you have the tasting counter. There's also the barrel room area which I believe your allowed tasting in as well but seemed more for an event. Which one was either happening that evening or the following day. The gentleman working was the sweetest. Welcomed us and took very good care of us. Explained the wine which is always a must. I'm more of a red drinker but some of their whites were excellent. Oh, the bubbles to begin with was great. It's more of a mom and pop place but tasty. During our tasting, people did start to arrive which was nice and I believe the owners were there as well. Preparing for the event happening later. The pours were great and the wine was quite nice. The whole experience was very fun. Compared to the other wineries which are pretty massive. This experience was more of a one on one as we were the group starting off at the counter. It was great. A fun little tasting room tucked away but quite nice.
