Went here for dinner for the first time though my family members have been multiple times and recommended. The food did not disappoint. I had the blackened salmon while my wife had the lamb shank. Both were excellent. Food seems to be always consistently good. The place was full on a Saturday evening. The inside decor is minimalist but soothing. They take pride in having excellent indoor air quality and website projects this with a live air quality index meter. The service was efficient without being overly enthusiastic. Perhaps the two servers seemed to be insufficient for a Saturday evening. We also had the shrimp for appetizer and banana split for dessert.

September 13/2023: Birthday Lunch with my Al. Very tasty meal. Have been here before but it's been several years ago. I didn't order an appie but went right for the main. I had the pork schnitzel ($24.00) with a mushroom sauce & fried potato's. The potato's we're supposed to be pan fried but they weren't. The pork schnitzel was good but I've had better. The mushroom sauce also just missed the mark. Our server Oscar was very friendly but I found the place a little snooty All the food was tasty but not enough to bring them to a 5* spot. It's a do over but not a rush for that do over.

Some regular favourites; most dishes are under-seasoned. Apricot Tree has some favourites that I order on a regular basis - French Onion Soup, Roasted Apple and Pork Crepes with side salad, freshly baked bread, and homemade desserts. The tiramisu and pretty much all of the mousse cakes are light and not-too sweet so those are my favourite. I order their whole cakes from time to time for special occasions and birthday parties at home. I've tried many of their other dishes in past years - Chicken Tarragon, Dinner Specials, Lamb Shanks, Osso Bucco, Weiner Schnitzel and Short Ribs. All could use more seasoning and we normally ask for salt at the table to add to the dish. I have had some excellent Schnitzels in Austria so regularly compare when they are offered. At one time before renovating, Apricot Tree used to serve Short Ribs with a spicy sweet sauce and it used to be a family favourite, but they took it off the menu over the years after renovations. I would also love for them to bring to this restaurant the Seafood Pasta (shrimp, mussels) with Spicy Rose Sauce that they served at Bistro Narra and Eggs Benedict with Peameal Bacon instead of sliced ham. If that were the case, I would bump up my rating. Unfortunately suggestions appear to be shrugged off with the response that the dishes on the menu are popular, and that the seafood pasta is sometimes on the menu (although not exactly the same based on my experience and certainly not regularly on the menu). The restaurant is clean and well-kept. Service can be good or slow depending on service staff that day. Some are very quick and check in regularly,; others are not attentive and stand by their station with their backs turned to the customer, even when they are not busy. In those cases, I try for quite some time to get their attention. There doesn't appear to be a floor supervisor, which might help improve service. The owners are usually focused on the back of the house. I'm sure it's not easy with staff shortages in the restaurant industry. Overall, I come back from time to time when I feel like eating my favourites. I would visit more often for brunch and dinner if some minor changes from above were made.

(2.5/5) FOOD | Came here for patio brunch with a friend. I got the eggplant parm sandwich ($14). I was a bit surprised at the bread that came with it, as parm sandwiches typically come on a fluffier/larger bun (at least, in my experience). The bread was too small for the parm so the filling spilled out quite a bit. Additionally, the bread was not a nice texture with the parm, as it was quite hard and gritty. The parm itself was good, though -- good flavour with lots of cheese. We went inside to browse the desserts after our meal, but a lot of the desserts did not look fresh. I was disappointed at the overall food and value for the food, as this is one of the few nice brunch places offered in Mississauga. AMBIANCE | Standard modern European restaurant ambiance. The patio is nicely decorated with flowers and plants! It is quite a big restaurant, so there probably will not be much of a wait if you decide to come without a reservation. SERVICE | Because we were out on the patio with only a few other parties, the servers did not come out often to check on guests. It was a bit difficult at times to get a hold of a server, but overall, this was not a major issue. VERDICT | Wouldn't come again... I think I prefer chain breakfast places over this place.

Every chance me and my bestie get,we always enjoy dining out to different restos and spots. We really enjoy, laughing, dining, admiring ambiance , experiencing good quality service and unforgettable taste. This is a hidden gem near Erindale,it's a very lovely location with a very cute fountain area . You are wondering why I gave 2 stars,it's quite disappointing how the service is very slow and I don't blame the servers ,the MANAGEMENT should've put more staff.. we were very disappointed and wouldn't go back again.Time is very important and this restaurant just took all of our tome. I have 2 stars because 1. The welcoming girl staff was very sweet and kind. She was very pleasant, accommodating and apologetic of the slow service . 2. The desserts were very very good, too bad I didn't get the chance to taste the chocolate cake coz of the slow service somebody already bought it all. That was a disaster. The crown here is mostly for seniors but we really enjoyed the desserts soo all group ages are welcome to try but BEWARE,don't come here if you are very hungry otherwise you'll be soo mad for waiting . The Wiener schnitzel was very dry but we loved the potatoes -just cooked to perfection..I hope the management will wake up and put more staff here.

What a fantastic establishment then and even now. So I've been here before the renovation and now-The restaurant has seen a face lift but the quality of the food and the taste remains intact. So on my last visit I decided to have their chicken tarragon crepe which is one of their specialties and absolutely divine. This crepe is perfectly paired with an amazing house creamy chicken mushroom sauce. It comes with a side salad topped with delicious/light vinaigrette dressing on it. This entrée is delicious and fills you up. We also ordered their Mediterranean pizza and it's not like a regular pizza.Their version has a thin bread with lots of veggies and feta and jalapeño on top.Its not super saucy but is full of delicious flavors and a side of greens.I'm definitely ordering that the next time I go it's absolutely delicious. This pizza is full of freshness. For dessert we had the Nutella crêpe with raspberries and ice cream this was pretty standard and predictable. Just before they bring out the entrées they serve you the house made bread with butter which is so fresh and delicious also our server was kind enough to bring us a second serving after we're done with the first batch. The service given to us was quick and our server kept checking on us. We actually were in there much later after the lunch hours so I really don't know how they operate when it's busy-but the time we went there were just a few tables occupied. We were so stuffed that there was no room for dessert or coffee but I do highly recommend the desserts if ever you make your way there because they are pretty damn good. So this restaurant has lots of parking around it as it shares it's parking with a lot other stores. It's nice and clean in there and the facelift has made the place much more contemporary unlike how it used to be before.

Loved - the Main course. Loved the chicken breast perfect portion and well cooked , served with rice and veggies. The chicken tarragon was equally good. Average - the cappuccino and the lemonade was just average. I was expecting this thick coffee with strong beans but turned out just fine. Dessert - Baked Alaska may be a wrong choice for my taste since it had this tangy taste right in between the icecream and cookie expected a something different. Service - a bit slow expect They also have specials for the day - 3 course meal $38. Covid-19 measures - taken properly with santizer to begin with and masks when in ally , also all servers wear masks and contact details are asked.

The place was far from crowded when we showed up, and we were told to check out the menus and place our order at the front. We decided to share the House Special Sandwich ("Pork loin marinated with house special recipe, tomato, fried egg, cabbage and peanut butter") and the Malaysian Street Style sandwich ("4oz ground beef with a taste of M'sian spice, tomato, fried egg, lettuce and sweet & spicy sauce"). (I also got a milk tea to drink, and it was really good. Very rich but not too sweet.) The sandwiches were both excellent. They were packed with flavor and the various components all worked really well together. The Malaysian Street Style did flirt with being just a little too sweet, but it was balanced out with the other components. Everything was decently priced, too. The bill, with tip, came out to around 25 bucks, which is great considering the quantity and caliber of food we were given.

I went on a Saturday around 9:00 AM, and there was already a line of about seven people ahead of me. Since I was dining solo, I grabbed a seat at the kitchen bar, which ended up being a fun spot to watch everything happening. I ordered the mango mimosa and the wild blueberry pancakes. Mildred's has some of the best pancakes I have ever had. They were fluffy, flavorful and absolutely lived up to the hype. The mango mimosa was a little too sweet for my taste, but I would still love to come back and try more of their menu. The staff were friendly, although service was a bit slow to start. It took about 15 to 18 mins before I got water and was able to place my order. Overall, I can absolutely see why this place has such a great reputation. I waited over a decade to try it, and it was well worth the wait.

When dining in, you order at the counter, get a number, and they bring your food to the table. Breakfast items are available until 4 p.m., and after that they serve salads, bowls, and sandwiches. On my first visit, I had a hot chai latte with espresso and it was absolutely delicious. The second time, I tried the iced pumpkin spice latte and didn't love it. The pumpkin spice syrup is homemade, which is nice, but the flavor fell a little flat and the large glass was mostly milk, which overpowered the drink. For food, I've tried the egg sandwich simple but good. The spinach feta croissant was heavy on the spinach, light on the cheese, and even though I asked for it warmed up, it was still cold in the middle. Their bowls are very fresh, but I found them a little under-seasoned and could've used more dressing or a sprinkle of seasoning to tie everything together. Overall, it's a cozy spot with an inviting vibe (I love their "stay awhile" sign on the wall). I think it really depends on what you order and your personal taste. For some, the fresh and lighter options might be perfect. For me, a little more flavor and balance would make it great.
