I had been looking for a quality nail salon in Georgetown, KY and finally found one at Apsara. The quality of manicure is far superior to any other place in town. My nails have been beautiful each time I have been and they last! The sns doesn't chip and crack right away. My sns looked great for a month! I only had to go back to get it done again because my nails had grown so much. I had a pedicure here as well and it also looked great. I will not be going anywhere else in town or going to Lexington for nails anymore. The prices are comparable to other salons (maybe a little less) and the staff is very friendly. read more

I took myself and two of my friends to get our nails done today, and it was horrible! First off, my nails are so crooked and not filed down evenly at all, the polish is chunky and uneven as well. One of my friends had the same experience, except her polish was pooled to her cuticles and there were spots where there was no polish at all. My second friend had decent polish, but later on in the day two of her nails came off. All three of us got acrylics with the same shape, length, and we all got one color of polish, but all three of us had different prices! My set was 70 dollars, one of my friends was 65 and my second friend was 80 dollars! The price for acrylic sets, keep in mind, was 40 dollars. The staff were not sociable at all, and quite rude to one of my friends. I would give a negative review if I could. I honestly did not even want to pay. This was supposed to be a treat to my friends but went south very quickly. Do not recommend. read more

I get gel fill in and spa pedicures when I go to nail salons. My natural nails are very thin, so I'm kind of a big baby when it comes to the drill from fill ins. I always let the nail tech know this up front so they hopefully don't bear down with the drill in one spot which can give a burning sensation. So because of this, my primary concern and rating result is based on whether or not it hurts. I'm pleased to report that the nail tech giggled when I told him I was a baby, and he understood. He didn't hurt me at all and did quality work. The spa pedicure was very nice and relaxing. He's doing that great citrus smelling scrub thing now and the massage feels great! The facilities are nice and clean and the prices are reasonable. They seem to be adequately staffed for the time of day and season. I didn't have to wait at all and there were other customers in the place. They are open in Sunday's as well, so if I still lived in the area this would be a big plus for me (I'm visiting family.) The only down-side so far is there is no TV in the manicure area. I won't reduce the rating because of it, since they were at least playing popular music on the radio. However, sitting in a chair for an hour it's nice to watch sports (Monday Night Football for example). read more

If I am being honest leaving one star is being generous. I went in for SNS & asked for short & square, left with round nails. The clear polish was left all of my hands & fingers. The nail tech cut my cuticle so bad it was bleeding down my finger. One more thing....two of my nails were messed up & they didn't fix it. Wasted $40 NEVER AGAIN. read more

The owner is prejudice. You'll never see black people in there. I have recently gotten mold in my nails and she blamed it on me. She didn't cut my nails low enough and she blamed it on me. I've reported them to the BBB because they're nasty. They don't sterilize their equipment like they should be. read more

This salon was the rudest nail salon I have ever been to. If I could give them no stars I would. I went in for a pedicure and it started fine, then he got to the painting and he was clumping the nail polish on. I went to dry my nails and I hadn't even been sitting there for more than 5 minutes and was rudely rushed out and questioned if I was going to leave. If I could leave a negative star I would. My mother had to have her nail fix and wanted me to come with her I decided to get a pedicure with her. While there the girls were asking me if I wanted my nails done as well. I work somewhere where I can't really get my nails done because they might break but I told them I would've loved a manicure and gel polish. They talked me into SNS covering.. now it's been a while since I've gotten my nails done because of where I work so I didn't know that essentially they'd be dipping my nails in powder and damaging them. They passed me off to one of the male staff there who didn't say one damn word to me besides if I wanted long nails.. which I was like "no" . He ruined my cuticles with the board and machine and when I was done. Told me to dry them. My nails looked like little bubbles. AWFUL. I just wanted fucking polish and a manicure. When I got into an argument with him he said it would cost extra for the manicure and he'd remove them. Well no thanx now that he's ruined my natural nail.. Then they charged me $60 for it.. two weeks later when one cracked because again, work, my healthy nails were ripped and look like shit!! Paid $55 for a pedicure that was HORRIBLE. I had to repeatedly ask her to fix things. Never again!!

In Georgetown they are my number one choice hands down for a manicure or pedicure. They are always friendly, well-staffed, and pleasant. Went in the other day for my vacation pedicure and they had me in and out in 30 minutes. read more

I was looking for a nail place a little closer to home for SNS on my natural nail, which I have been doing for about a year. I tried this place and the first time it wasn't bad, so I decided to go back again 2 weeks later. The second visit was very sloppy, color all over my skin and my cuticles were burnt off from the grinder. I still decided to go back, but to have a different person do my nails. I went yesterday (the day before Easter). I picked out a solid pink SNS. The girl that did my nails burnt me numerous times, cut several of my nails WAY too short, so they are very uneven. She didn't shape them all the same way, some are rounded, some are square. Then when she did the top coat, I told her that the polish had white spots through it. She just told me that it was the way it was supposed to look, after I told her the color I picked was solid and did not have white spots. She did not offer to fix them, and also got it all over my skin. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I will never return here again! read more

Went to pretty nails yesterday for a mani and gel nails. A man did my nails. I left very disappointed. He used a clear substance when he started that he kept smelling, I asked if something was wrong, while I didn't fully understand his explanation, I smelled it myself. It smelled like a soured sponge. I said I think it's bad, he shook his head yes and continued. The tools they used were not sterile. My nails were filed crookedly. Polish is on my skin, and the skin around and under my nails are glued to my nails. I went with a friend, her nails look great. I however will not go back. read more
