Worst pest control. Had scorpions show up days after they came out then couldn't get ahold of them when we tried to call and ask for them to come respray. We were promised the full shabang of them coming inside the home and spraying but they never even told us when they came out to spray. Then they call and harass at all hours because I refuse to pay for a service that wasn't provided and the lady threatens me and try's to use scare tactics. Honey the only thing I'm scared of is scorpions and I'm going to give my money to the people who can actually get rid of them. 0/10 would not recommend. Awful company and awful employees. read more

This business goes door to door even blatantly ignoring no solicitation neighborhoods. They refuse to wear masks, are pushy and difficult to shoo away from the front door and say they won't take no for an answer. You have to threaten to call the police before they leave. There is even lengthy threads on NextDoor about their tactics. If this is their practice to get your business, imagine how difficult they are to cancel. Poor service have had them for a year and never can rely on them coming when scheduled. Have had increased bug activity and when they say they will come back don't count on it. I have asked for a supervisor to call me and to no avail they will not return my calls. Service cost me 80$ when completed but they have only truly completed a good home service 1 time in 12 months when I questioned service tech I was told "I used a concentrated liquid" so in other words no I am not going to service your home properly. I left Green Mango to come to this company when their service rep came to my home and sold me a plan. Guess what contract is up . DO NOT waste your time or money on this company. The customer is not their concern. They were contracted to come every 3 months and if you find bugs they are suppose to come back free. Last week I had a rep at my door claiming that their company has been doing pest control for our neighbors and pointed at the house next door and told me their names were something different than what I knew them to be. I told him "those aren't my neighbors' names". And then he backpedaled, stating he meant my neighbors further down the street. I told him no thanks and he was quite assertive, but I definitely did not appreciate him lying about my neighbors being clients of his. I don't trust this company. read more

I had a sales representative by the name of Benjamin come to my house today. I opened the door thinking it might be a neighbor. I patiently listened to him and his sales pitch. I thought it was odd that he would be going door to door while social distancing guidelines were still in place. I made sure to only keep my door cracked open as I also had my child home. I told him we haven't had any problems with pests in the three years we have lived here. He continued on about the great deal I would be getting. I restated I was good with the pests I currently have as they are normal for the environment we live in. I also stated at some point my wife was at work and I couldn't make a decision without talking about it with her first. He offered to come back later to which I said ok begrudgingly. He came back after my wife had gotten home as I was putting our little one to bed and was aggressive in his pitch. My wife stated we weren't interested and he continued to push the sale. Finally, my wife went to shut the door and he made a face that clearly showed he was pissed off at us. It was a very poor experience which I will make sure pass along to others. read more

Initial service was great, with treatment both inside and outside, but rapidly downhill from there. Please note that when you sign up you are contractually hooked for a year at a minimum ( ~ 300 USD in total). Every "service" after the first one has been non-existent. Our gate is closed by default for security reasons. With that, it is impossible for them to get in. Practically, without notice and agreement for a specific service day, they would not be able to provide their services. Despite that being the case, they just pretended to have completed their quarterly service and charged the quarterly rate - it is then on you to try to get them back for a follow-up service. And of course - since they didn't do anything, our patio and yard is full of creatures. You would expect them to be pro-active, inspect for bugs and adjust the treatments accordingly. Unfortunately, that is not the case, it is all re-active and complaints based action. Stay away from this company - another lesson learned to never sign up for a "subscription" service as it just an invite to take your money and do the bare minimum to get by. read more

He fictitiously name dropped my neighbors names and was extremely pushy. I have since learned that they were canvassing our whole neighborhood. Honestly the guy that came to sell us on Aptive was pushy but pleasant, he was persistent and because we had roaches/scorpions at the time I went with it. It was our first home so I knew I needed to get it under control. 6 months in now and i still have roaches and scorpions. They came out half hearted once to spray and then not at all the last time I called and even though we got a good discount for signing up, it's not worth it. I will say that the customer service phone reps are very friendly and accommodating even if they service is crap. I plan on cancelling my service even though there is a penalty. I don't recommend this to anyone looking for effective pest control. read more

We live in Gilbert Arizona and we have had adaptive environmental come by our house multiple times. They student to their warranty and came out and extra time when we started to see spiders and roaches. Their technician always comes by with a smile on his face and he's very polite. We had a really bad tick problem pop up out of no where 2 summers ago, went to the bug and weed Mart spent $150.00 on chemicals and spayed every week for 4 weeks and couldn't get rid of them. We gave up had these guys come out and spray and in a week and a half we did not see any ticks or bugs. We had a lot of ants also but they are gone too. They come out 4 times a year which is great instead of having to do it every month. The way I found out about them was by a young man knocking on door which was a good thing for us. I signed up for pest control to keep the scorpions and spiders at bay. After speaking with the door to door rep I was assured that if 'life happened' after the initial treatment we would only be obligated to pay for the initial treatment and the cost of one service. While it was never my intent to need to cancel life happened. Now I am told that my agreement' consists of a $224 cancellation cost. They did say iff I had electronic copies of my husband's doctors note they could wave the cost. I stated that we did not have e copies but would see what I could do. To no avail - I messaged them and stated that my remaining two services will be less costly than their cancel fee and if I had $224 I would not be canceling. To get them to just do the service I now am supposed to call to reactivate my service. They are daily sending me a invoice for $224 even after I have told them repeatedly to just do the service. I have been accused of hangIng up on them - not true. In the transfer process and waiting for quite a bit of time my call was disconnected. Aaron O did a great job on our home re-check. I love that Aptive is so responsive, every time we spot a bug in our home, we can give them a call and they will come back and spray for no additional fee. They're quarterly fee for spraying is about average to high, but with the anytime return, it's definitely worth it. We have notice a HUGE difference between this year and last year in regards to the bugs that usually come out at summer. Last summer when we were spraying ourselves, we had more than I care to remember number if scorpions in and around. This year, we have only seen a couple outside (using a black light), none inside, and Aptive was quick to come back and take care of any issues. read more

Even after I told their salesman he was trespassing on private property, he continued to go door to door. The salesman gave us the same lies, "we do work for your neighbors". I would NEVER use this company. They are scumbags! They lie about neighbors using their services. They trespass on private property and do not leave when asked. If you live in a gated community that has a no soliciting sign at the entry ( most do) they are not allowed to sell door to door even if they have a solicitors permit. I spoke to Scottsdale pd this evening after they trespassed in our development and refused to leave. If they are in your gated neighborhood call the police have them removed and ask them to revoke the individuals door to door permit. That is the only way they will learn to respect our privacy read more

I wasn't looking for a pest control company. A guy, Dallin, a Rep from Aptive Environmental, who happened to be in the area came up to me and discussed exterior service for control pest. It's been a long while since I had it done, so I listened to his presentation. I made appointment that same day and a service person, Jayson, came on time. After a short introduction, I watched him worked diligently. His professionalism and friendliness satisfied my decision to complete my five series of summer through winter of pest control. I have all the the follow ups online for me to check what was done and the dates for the next service. I am satisfied on the first service and hoping that at the end of the last service I will be completely satisfied. But for now, all is well. He asked if there were any concerns or if we've seen any pests, which we have not, and confirmed all the areas I wanted sprayed outside as well as the interior. He was very clean and professional and helped with our spider mites on our Cyprus trees. Prior to leaving he made sure I was happy and let me know to call if I had any concerns or questions at all. The guy who came to our house told us (you do not have a contract). I've called to cancel my service several times and Aptive claims I'm in a one year agreement. They still show up and still debit my card. I signed nothing of the sort. Then I called in AGAIN and spoke with Breanna this time and found out that apparently Aptive called my wife to perform a "verbal welcome letter" which states that we are in a one year agreement and apparently my wife (not me, who's name is on the account) agreed to this. Oddly enough, my wife does not remember having this conversation, not that it matters as the account is in my name and I would never have agreed to this. So if you decide to do business with this company, sit back and prepare to get kicked around like a chump. They do not care who they swindle, how they do it, or what they cost a family. You have my word this is true. I'm still waiting on a manager to call me back. I might remove this rating if they remove me from the agreement I DID NOT SIGN. Who wants a dose of irony? She explained thoroughly Aptive Environmental's approach to pest control and pricing. I had literally just signed on with another company and had two treatments so I wasn't looking to switch.
