I have used Truly Nolen twice. Once was for a beehive on the house in 2013 and just recently today for another beehive. Both times the work was done quick. We called them on 5/25/2022 and by the following day the beehive was already removed along with a netting to hopefully, prevent another future beehive. They are a bit pricey but work is done well and they explain things to you before the work is done. read more

I couldn't afford the services so I had to cancel. When I called and cancelled the guy never informed me about the 158$ cancelation fee. They claimed they tried to contact me. These people are sleazy scam artists and I highly recommend you do not use them as your exterminators. I signed up, and pre-paid, for a year's worth of service from this company. The entire time that they were coming out it was an endless hard sell for additional services that I did not want. At the end of the year I did not want any additional service, so I did not schedule any additional appointments. However, they continued to bill me for additional services that I did not request and I did not want. Eventually even reporting me to a collections agency, again, for services I did not want or request. They are basically like the old Columbia House records scam, where they get your billing information and continue to charge you for things that you did not order. Definitely go with someone else, or at the bear minimum don't sign anything they give you without a lawyer looking it over first. read more

On the advice of a friend we contacted Truly Nolan Pest Control. I did not compare prices before contacting the firm, though it seems they are reasonable in their price structure. The switchboard put me in touch with the Tempe office. Tim Hatting, Service Coordinator, came out to inspect the job. Later Marty Reams, Pest Control Technician, came out for the service. On the upside: "Best spray man in the valley" - Marty Reams provided great service. He was very knowledgeable, almost at one with the critters. I half expected him to pull out a flute a la the Pied Piper. Marty sprayed everywhere - inside, outside, even the young trees in the front yard. He was in no hurry. It seemed like different areas received different kinds of treatments. Definitely NOT a "mow, blow and go" kind of worker. Another great thing about Marty - he's kind and humble. He doesn't judge your house or you, he just gets the job done. On the downside: As some Yelpers have pointed out, there's a lot of suggested sales that go on. Truly Nolan offers many services and they certainly encourage cross pollination. They want you as a regular customer and will promote packages where they come out more than once a year for regularly scheduled service. (However if you suddenly find critters they will come out ahead of time as part of the service agreement.) In summary: Marty Reams does great work. It's the boots on the ground that deliver management's vision, and he definitely delivers. Do I need the regular service? I am not sure. My plan is to stick it out for a year or so before evaluating again. Right now, I am very pleased. read more

I have used Truly Nolen for both 4 Seasons Pest Defense as well as a TERMITE contract. I changed to another company for the regular pest service ( I wrote a review for the new pest company) because TN was not keeping the scorpions away. AT.ALL. I have had MUCH better results with the other Pest Company. As for the Termite Service: it stinks. I am so disgusted with it! I renewed the annual contract the previous owner had, it seemed like the smart thing to do. When termites showed up, in a tube coming down out of my KITCHEN ceiling!!!! They scheduled me for about 2 weeks out. I was not happy about that, but I waited it out. THAT was only for the Tech to come out to see if I had termites: what:????!!! I TOLD THEM I had termites. My year contract is not even up yet and they have been out FOUR times to treat my house. Clearly I have a problem and it is not being handled. I have holes in the tile floor, holes in the concrete, holes outside my house, holes in my ceilings.... and each and every time, it is the same thing: someone comes out in couple of weeks to confirm that I have termites and then 1-2 MONTHS later someone comes to treat it. The waiting message on the phone talks about how termites generally cause $7000 damage before they are discovered. Yet when I call for treatment, I wait an additional 1-2 months!! So which is it?? Either termites do cause SO much damage and TN is not concerned with the damage that is occurring while they work me into their schedule OR termites are not that bad?? And let's bet my personal biggest investment on that wager! NOT. They are history for me. read more

They have always done a great job with their regular appointments and when I have to call with something unexpected. Both accommodated our reactive dog; Aaron made a note in file to contact me by phone before starting even outdoor service so that I have time to contain the dog safely. read more

Found a few unwanted guests at our new place and freaked out. So, we researched pest control companies and went with Truly Nolen. The receptionist was super friendly on the phone. Then they sent Mike, the investigator, who was courteous and professional. Since he found no evidence of an infestation, he found it unnecessary to pay full price. He called his manager, the negotiator, and cut the price down to a reasonable size. And he still planned on treating my problem like I paid full-price! What? Unheard of. Later that week, Kim, the terminator, came to the scene and spent an hour spraying and dusting. She was helpful and professional. Explained everything she did and will come out again if any unwanted guest shows up unexpectedly. The service is not too expensive since I didn't pay full price. But, even so, it is reasonable for what the package offers. We got the four season package because we loathe bugs of all kinds. We plan to call often. Just in case. read more

I've been with Truly Nolen for 2 years and don't have a single complaint. They always send out the same tech (David) and he's always professional and polite. He also has come to our house on short notice several times. We've gone with the year round treatment plan and it has paid off just in the emergency services they have rendered for us. We had an ant infestation and David came that same day, trapped a few of the suckers and took them to their lab for analysis. He came back the next day and treated for big headed ants. All of this was free because of our yearly protection plan. We've also had him come in between treatments because we kept noticing lots of spiders and because we heard what we thought were mice in the attic. I have high standards and rarely give 5 star ratings for anything but I highly recommend Truly Nolen and anytime I hear people are in the market for a pest control company I always recommend them. read more

Truly Nola is not the company i would recommend, I paid over $1200 for termite treatment and the treatment warranty is only good for 1 year after that its $175 a year to renew warraanty. Signs of termites are back after just 2 years of service and i didnt renew my warranty. For the high price of the treatment cost you shouldn't have 2 pay $175 a year for extended warranty maybe $35 a year. Dont waste your time with this company. read more

Expect annual price increases if you contract with Truly Nolen. They are either the most unethical or incompetent pest control company around...how can you justify price increases EVERY year! Our technician is great but there's NO excuse for raising prices every year when other companies find ways to increase their efficiencies or reduce their costs to remain competitive. I have used Truly Nolen for the past 10 years and in the last 2 years services have diminished. It seems to take longer and longer for us to get someone out to treat the home when we discover an issue. This last go around we are told the earliest they can come out is over 2 weeks out. Well by that time I am going to do what I have to and fix the issue myself that I pay a monthly fee for them to do. I am on the hunt for a new provider at this time. Absolutely terrible customer service. Complained about bugs and lack of service in July. Tech was on vacation, so couldn't get someone out until August. Was then charged, without my authorization, for new service when the complaint was remedied. I will never go back to them, as they do not honor their guarantees, such as unlimited call backs and a money back guarantee. I have filed a complaint with BBB, and the new manager at this location has refused to do anything to diffuse the situation. It is obvious that the new management at this location, and the corporate offices, will be changing many of their policies to further their profiting while limiting their customer service. read more

We have been Truly Nolen clients for several years. The first time we contracted with them was about 19 years ago. We adopted two large dogs that came with their own visitors - ticks. These dogs were loaded with ticks. We tried everything, even professional veterinary treatments and other pest control companies. I just wanted to write this review to recommend to anyone who has any pest problems, Rob and his partner came to do an inspection on our apartment, due to thinking we had bed bugs, and was told by our landlord that we had to use their pest control people they recommended we decided to go on our own and try to look for something cheaper and we did! Truly Nolen does inspections for free where the other place wanted to charge us $100 to just inspect the apartment. These guys where honest and thank god we didn't have anything but they were sincere and honest and not trying to take advantage of people. I am so glad we found these guys and they helped us resolve our apartment issue with landlord I would highly recommend this to anyone who might be having issues or might think they will be honest with u and not try to trick u and take your money! Truly Nolen services my roommates house quarterly. A few months ago we had ants in our kitchen. We told our technician, Michael Eckstein, and he brought in a couple of bait containers for the problem area. He told us they'd be gone within a week but they actually disappeared within 2 days. We were really pleased. Michael also came out again this past week, I completely spaced that he was coming and stopped off at the grocery store before heading home. He waited for me, maybe 40 minutes, and didn't complain about it one bit when I finally showed up. He was courteous and professional and finished the back of the house, where he couldn't get in without me because our gate was locked. He is knowledgeable and helpful. Michael is an asset to the company and we are glad to have Truly Nolen help us with our pest control needs. read more

We went on a week vacation and boarded our dog for the first time. When we returned there were droppings across the entire patio. I was nervous for my young kids to be exposed to something. While on the phone with their admin, I took a picture and sent it over. She had them look at it and sent Ron out within a half hour of calling. Ron inspected outside and roof and attic free of charge. Luckily it turned out to be just birds, but the customer service I received was one of the best from any serviceman I've had. He didn't try to sell me and seemed to really care about my family. Now we are looking into the pest control options because of the service we received. I have conclusion of absolutely terrible customer service, they had some good technicians in past like Richard but now they only concerned with getting paid by there customer after showing up on customer's location without providing the services. Complained about bugs after Richard left them in June 2015, they send one new technician at our business who informed that he is here to look at the problem and cannot treat roaches because he only treat residential places and promised to send someone concerned. After a week long wait I contacted the supervisor Marty Jones and explained the situation, he informed that he is on vacation and will send good technician in few days but it never happened. read more

To say I am a difficult customer to please in this area is a gross understatement. One roach is the end of the world and everyone in the house will know about it. Last year our house began to have a few, but enormous roaches, then more...and more... To me it was like living in a haunted house I was so scared all the time. We tried every spray known to man to no avail. Finally we had Truly Nolan treat our house. It helped, but we had a very unique situation which required them eventually drilling holes in the walls and power treating it. Tim and Richard were so kind and understanding. They came out every week until it was under control. They endured my roach by roach report as to what transpired in their absence. And best of all...praise the gods...I haven't seen a roach inside or outside in months!!! I now go barefoot instead of wearing boots inside and my requirement that there be a can of raid in every room just in case, is no longer needed.
