GM took over AZ Best Pest which was WONDERFUL and I have had to contact them no less than 6 times regarding their poorly organized team, communication, and my great dissatisfaction. I would fire her if she were my employee. She had a chance to save my account but did not. GM tried to hook us into every 6-7 weeks for service while still billing us monthly. I had been a customer of Arizona Best pest control company before it was acquired by Green Mango. Since the transition, the service experience declined significantly. I often had to call to find out when my service was scheduled, there was no clear arrival window, and my service frequency changed from monthly to every other month during peak scorpion season without clear notice. When I decided to cancel, I emailed my cancellation request. Green Mango responded asking why I wanted to cancel. One month after sending the cancellation notice I was billed under a monthly subscription model for a period in which no technician came to my home and no service was performed. Customer service was unwilling to remove the charge or transfer me to someone who could address my concerns, and I was told to wait for an email. This experience reflected poorly on the company. The lack of communication, inconsistent scheduling, and refusal to promptly address a billing dispute demonstrated a disregard for customers' time and trust. I cannot recommend Green Mango based on how this situation was handled. read more

I originally reached out to address a Scorpion in my last place -- they took care of it right away. 5 years and a new home later, green mango has still been a staple in keeping my spaces (inside, garage, front yard, backyard) pest free! They've been great about accommodating days and times that work for me, technicians are always friendly and respectful, making sure to address any specific concerns I have, atop of the services they are already taking care of. Absolutely terrible service and even worse business practices. This is probably one of the shadiest, most unethical businesses I have ever dealt with. I strongly encourage everyone to stay away from this business if you value your property or your income. If you do decide to seek their services, beware, they don't do paper invoices, and they evidently forget to get an email address from you to send invoices. But what they won't forget to do is send you to a debt collector...even if the total is less than $100. Then to top it off, they have the gumption to just resume services, without asking, when you pay the debt collector...then again, how could they ask me if they don't communicate via paper and if they don't have an email address? I recently canceled my services with Green Mango after being a customer for many many years. After reading the prior reviews, it appears that others have experienced issues in the recent year-ish. Now everything has been falling into place. As a previous reviewer, Haley, I too experienced the change service cycles without ANY notice. If this was the only thing that happened, it was not so now I look for services elsewhere. 1. They debited my account and when I reached out, that is when they told me. When I told them I didn't want that they said, ok well then you will have a credit for your next service. I had to tell them no, I need them to refund the amount as I did not authorize it. 2. This past month I got a text the day of to tell me they were coming. I had to reschedule. 3. They ran my payment the day we agreed which cleared then they ran it AGAIN the day after. When I called they said they were reversing the charges but instead charged me a 3rd time! I have been going back and forth with them for a few days and they REFUSE to take accountability. I had to file a dispute with my bank because Green Mango refuses to do anything about their errors, particularly Jessica. 4. We signed up and were paying a certain amount each service. The amount then went up and the up again, AGAIN without any notice. They just keep raising the amount without communicating this. Maybe it was due to the selling of the business but it has gone downhill. I have told them to cancel my account but I'm being told that someone that is "authorized" will contact me. No---just cancel my account and refund my damn money!!!! read more

After Green Mango took over Arizona's Best, things went bad quickly. I was told a termite inspection was free under my contract. But they charged me $96.00 for it. Charge was put on my credit card. When I pointed out the mistake, I was told the charge was reversed. It shows as such in my online account. However, my credit card only showed the debit. There was no credit. I called several times asking why I didn't get refunded the $96.00. I was told someone else handles billing, the people in the office don't know who it is and they cannot contact them. I'd get put through to a "manager." I'd get told they would fix it. A month later, still no resolution. Called again. Same song and dance. Basically saying "We know we charged you in error, we understand your frustration but we don't know how to fix it." I can honestly say I have never heard a business say that. It makes no sense. "We screwed up, we don't know how to fix it, yes it's wrong but what can we do, so you're just out the money, so sorry?" My most recent call ended with the rep saying "I'll look into this [yet again] and call you back." Guess what? No callback. Then I noticed they put my account on recurring charge on my credit card for BOTH on the termite prevention AND regular pest control, all without my consent. I filed a dispute with my credit card company. I have no choice but to find another pest control company. read more

We have experienced ongoing issues with Green Mango. A technician recently informed us that the company had been sold, but unfortunately the same problems have continued. Our account is clearly marked that they must speak with us before scheduling any service. Despite this, we've had multiple instances where technicians either showed up without an appointment or called while "on the way" when no appointment had been scheduled. When we do have scheduled appointments, there have been a last-minute cancellation after we've already prepared for the service. Each time we raise these concerns, we're given different explanations such as "no current phone number" (despite being able to text us), "new office staff," or conflicting information about technicians. These responses do not address the ongoing issue. We have clearly communicated both verbally and in writing that they do not have permission to come to our property without a confirmed appointment. Despite this, the behavior continues. Most concerning, a technician we specifically requested not return due to what we felt was rude behavior showed up again without an appointment. We have tried to be patient and give this company the benefit of the doubt, but this pattern, in our opinion, shows a lack of organization, communication, and respect for customer boundaries. We simply expect what should be standard as agreed upon, do not come to our home without a confirmed appointment, and honor the appointments that are scheduled. read more

He does an amazing job spraying inside and out very efficiently but also listens to my questions and teaches me about what particular bug I might be seeing and why, and its always reassuring that those bugs are gone after my treatment. He never seems put out by my inquiries. He is also super patient with my yappy puppy; he remembers his name and tries to reassure my pup that everything is ok. I've had very good service and all of the Techs who have come to my house have been Very Professional. This past week I had a new Tech, Nick H. He shared some very interesting new ideas with me. I DON'T like bugs, as a matter of fact I Hate Bugs! I shared that when I first moved to AZ people warned me about Scorpion. I shared this Nick and he suggested I do 2 things to prevent them from getting in my house. First he suggested using Peppermint Essential Oil when I mop the floors. And also pour Bleach down every drain in the sinks, showers, bathtubs and even in the toilets. OK, not difficult to do and if it helps I'm all for it. We were customers of Arizona best choice for 19 years. Mango bought them out. They fired our service man of 12 years cause he was too old and slow. Doubled our rate, charged our card without authorization or service being performed. We have numerous family members and friends that are canceling with green mango. Terrible rude customer service. Since Green Mango's purchase, they have scheduled four appointments for service without my request or authorization. I have called and complained and cancelled each appointment and they've told me they "can't help it - that's just what their system does." Yeah right. I am very dissatisfied with this pest control company, I only had a one year contract and called to cancel it then I kept receiving voicemails and email's from Green Mango saying they needed more information to square away my account correctly. This was a sales tactic on their part to get me to call them and for them to push their services once again. Jessica offered me a free treatment to offset the cost if I gave them a try again. I told her I would call back but I didn't I got busy and forgot to callback on Friday. Well today 08/06/24 I just received an email and voicemail that I will have my house serviced tomorrow 08/07/24 which is ridiculous and due to this incident I will never go back to green mango again. I should have learned my lesson from the bad experience I had with their sales agent back when I was signing up for their pest control services. The sales agent initiated the contract and sent it to my email without my consent or signature and received a text message with the date of service. For the past 8 months or so, their service has gone down. Not only does the spray not seem to do anything but now they want to fill their water tank that sprays out with the chemicals at your house. In the past year I've had them do it at minimum 6 times. Why am I paying for their water when they already charge me $100 for service. Also their fee was put in place around 2022 when gas prices were above $5, stating that was the reason f9r the increase. Well we are looking at gas just above $3 yet my price never went down AND they use my water to fill their huge tanks. The guy that was out this week said now that they work from home they have to fill up from their home and do not get reimbursed. By afternoon they need to refill and use customers water to meet their needs. And the manager Tyler refuses to take calls to solve issues. read more

TERRIBLE! The original service charge of $325 - I called for service to treat rats in the Attic. The tech placed 3 deterrent traps in the back yard, sprayed for exoskeleton critters (which we didn't need as we have no exoskeleton problems). He suggested that WE put our own traps in the attic to cut cost - and did NOT GO INTO THE ATTIC. What was I paying for? Useless traps to deter rats from my yard? I want a refund for this $325 The second charge of $149 - I called to complain that still no one has addressed the attic, and a tech cam out and said we would have to pay for premium rat service to the attic to get someone to treat for the attic. He did go into the attic to view the attic, said there was no nests, and limited droppings. He said an agent would be out next day to treat the attic. No one showed up, I called and was told that someone would be here the next day, again no show. I want a refund for the $149. The third charge of $110 - Was for "maintenance" they sprayed for exoskeletons again, I told the tech that is not what we needed asked him to call his manager which he did, but we were again told to call the office and that his manager was leaving for the day and would call first thing in the AM, and suggested that I call at 7am which I did. I received no call, and no response to the two calls I placed that day. I want a refund for the $110. I am going to stop and dispute all these charges as well as place a negative review on the internet. Green Manago let us down and did NOT ADDRESS THE PROBLEM they were hired for. Have contracted with these folks for a year of weed control. They are always running some contract specials if you want to commit for longer than just.a single treatment. My first application was in March of this year, they put down a weed control spray and a pre-emergent. This is was all done with a truck and large sprayer (I have an acre of property, mostly dirt and decorative gravel, so when it rains, I get a forest growing pretty quickly. My HoA is a stickler for weeds, so I need to stay on top of it. I tried with Round-up for a few months, but could not stay in front of it, ergo my interest in Green Mango annual service. The staff is very friendly and knows what they are doing. One thing I really like about them is they don't use that blue/green dye in their applications like many of the other weed control firms do. It only took a couple hours for them to initially treat my property. Over past few weeks, the rain + fact I was gone in van working for a month, I came back to some specific places that had been treated that had active growing rapidly weeds. The thing I REALLY like about Green Mango is their program to come back out and spot treat any weeds that emerge between the quarterly major treatments. Decided to test that pledge today, so sent an email and was promptly contacted to arrange the extra service. Sure enough a technician arrived on time with a backpack sprayer and walked my entire property treating any areas where weeds had emerged. True to their promise the cost to me for this spot treatment was $0!!! Then tried to up charge for the following visit despite a written contract. I had complained twice before and they did not guarantee their work. They simply said they could move up my service date... and I would still pay. How kind (not). I gave them 2 chances to make it right. finally when I found a scorpion near my kids toys, I had enough. And only then did they "try to make it right". Their initial service associate that answers the phone is rude, and doesn't help in the slightest bit. I would have given a zero, but it's not possible. We called them for a quote for bed bug removal. They specifically told us what they would be doing, it didn't happen. They came and within an hour let us know they were done, but when we arrived we realized they couldn't have done what promised, it was obvious, bed bugs still everywhere. You can't do an entire home in an hour. I cancelled 2nd treatment but they refused to return even half of the payment. This business should not be in business the way they treat their customers. Please make sure you use a company that does the heat treatment if you get bed bugs. Green Mango should be out of business. read more

We started using Green Mango about 7 years ago. They have an amazing product for scorpions and German cockroaches. Whatever they're using really works for us. However, in the last year or so , their customer service department and scheduling has become a nightmare. We had an amazing tech (MG) who was nothing short of amazing and has moved since left them and now it varies who arrives, what time they arrive and only spray the front yard as opposed to the front, back, interior, exterior and overall perimeter of the home. I recently called for a a Saturday appointment which is scheduled a month out and was told they would charged extra for a full service. Which has not been done the last 3 visits. I spoke with a Cassandra who tried to tell me I would be charged extra for a full service. Of course, I said that was unacceptable. We shall see. I have referred them to all my contacts because I truly believe they have the best product but lack response and commitment. read more
