I purchased a new home and decided to continue services with Guaranteed Pool, boy was that a…read moremistake. As part of the purchase of the home this company was supposed to make certain repairs which they billed the previous owner for and that clearly were not done and some were done but were done badly. I asked the owner Robert early on to schedule a meeting so we could discuss upgrading the system to an app remote based system. He was too lazy to come out so he said he would provide me with a quote within a couple of days which was 11/27/23 and never got anything from him. Sam the guy that actually serviced the pool for many years didn't do his job and did the very minimal and basic scooping debris out and such, very lazy! I also requested to change the service day to another day besides Wednesday and the owner became upset and asked why, when I explained that the pool needs to be serviced after the gardener does his clean up he refused and told me to have my gardener work around the service guy's schedule. I called another company to come out since I needed the system update and they proceeded to show me leaks and many other issues that the service guy should have caught, fixed or let us or the previous owners know instead of just letting the problem get worse which he didn't do. When I spoke to the owner again this morning he was extremely rude, unprofessional and a real jerk. I again told him I needed another day for the pool to be serviced he started yelling at me and ended up hanging up on me! I've owned and run two corporations for 20+ years and would NEVER treat a customer as he treated me. He had the nerve to ask me to pay him for 4 service days when he only provided 2, when I asked why he was charging 2 extra service dates he told me I had to pay for vacation time for his employees which of course I refused. I will pay the services I was provided. Do yourself a favor and find another pool company because this one is a joke. The owner doesn't follow up on anything, his service guys are lazy and have attitudes and they do expensive and bad work. If I could give negative stars I would.

Took about 5 minutes and Guaranteed Pool Service did it for less than HALF the price than the current weekly pool service quoted. Robert Scully was an overall pleasure to do business with by phone but I urge you to get his and any other work quotes in writing BEFORE THE WORK OR SERVICE CALL to avoid any future billing surprises. Pool pump now working perfectly for 3 days, homeowner is very happy.

The tub wasn't properly purged so there was still a ton of dirt in there. I reached out for quotes to get this fixed, because they weren't willing to fix it. Eddie responded promptly and gave me a VERY fair quote. I was skeptical at first because I didn't see any reviews on his page. Turns out Yelp's algorithm removed some of his reviews, so I decided to give him a shot, and I'm glad that I did. Eddie came and fixed everything - he was meticulous, purged with chlorine, drained it, and wiped it till it was completely spotless. He spent several hours doing this. He then filled it back up, and balanced the chemicals. The water is squeaky clean now, and I'm already at ease working with Eddie because he seems to be a man of his word. Any issues, he will take care of you. If you have a pool, in ground, or above ground hot tub, I'd highly recommend his services. Not only are his prices fair, but he does great work. They came over the same day and drained my pool overnight. The next day they came with pressure washers and sprayed the stains off the side and bottom of the pool. Then took a wet vac to clean the residual dirty water. Once empty, they gave the pool a chlorine spray bath and cleaned the tough stains with acid. Finally, they filled the pool up, added the appropriate amount of chemicals and now it is runs and looks like a dream. It was a big job. Not sure how they did it in that heat. They kept my pool nice for 3 months and than a new guy came to service my pool and it was dark green again. Knowing they fixed the problem so rapidly the first time I figured it would be fine shortly after.. I mentioned how serious this issue is to me not being able to use my pool now for a month and wondered what was going on and told him if it wasn't fixed I would get a new pool guy. He than said there were underlying issues that were never mentioned to me previously or anytime during service. Instead of making it right they cancelled service. I'm quite sad that the service has gone this downhill.
