    N.Y. Style Cheesecake

I can't believe it has been 10+ years since I had been to Aqua Grill. I had been trying to get back but it just never worked out but finally we made it back. Once seated service started pretty quick. I started off with the Crab and Lobster Cake. This was something I couldn't pass up on because I love a Crab Cake and now we get Lobster too?!?!?! I must for me. So glad I did too. Spoiler alert this was amazing and the best thing we had all night. Keep these coming cause I could eat probably 10 of these. We then moved on to the Baby Kale Caesar Salad. I do enjoy a Caesar Salad but Kale and I have been been able to get along. I will say it being a Caesar with all the fixing made me enjoy this then most Kale Salads. For my entree I got the Vidalia Crusted Grouper that came with Maine Lobster and Corn Risotto and the Grouper topped with a South Carolina Peach Chutney. The Fish was flakey and cooked perfectly. I will say I thought the Vidalia Crusting with make it a little more flavorful though. The South Carolina Peach Chutney was not really it for me. I was just too over powering for me and made it way too sweet. For desert I had the NY Style Cheesecake which I of course enjoyed. I'm almost always a fan of Cheesecake. I for sure would come back to Aqua Grill because as a seafood fan they have so many amazing sounding options.

I'm embarrassed to say I've been living here for many years and have not visited the Aqua Grill. So, when our anniversary rolled around we chose it to spend our evening there. I made a reservation for outdoor seating online. When we arrived we were greeted immediately and shown to our table on the deck. It's a nice view overlooking a pond. There were a few bees buzzing around but quickly disappeared. Our server was very professional and kept our dinner at a good pace. We started with some cocktails and was served their delicious Housemade bread. Then went on to appetizers. I had the deviled eggs served with caviar and a tiny piece of salmon & capers. It was just those flavors I really enjoy. It was a large order for one so you might want to share. My hubs had a shrimp cocktail. Four large shrimp on a bed of lettuce. He said the shrimp were ok. For entrees - he had the beef short ribs over mashed potatoes served with carrots and brussel sprouts, topped with two onion rings. He said the meat was tender and delicious and really enjoyed his dish. I ordered the grouper which came on a bed of risotto. The fish was topped with a mango peach sauce and some fried onions. Sadly, this was awful all around except for the fish. It was a nice large delicious piece of fresh grouper topped with a sweet sauce that just did not go with it. Also, the risotto was not cooked correctly and the dish was watery on the bottom. It isn't easy getting risotto just right and if you don't know how to make it, you should stay away from it. It tasted more like watery rice. I scraped the topping off of the fish and move the risotto to the side and just ate the fish. I don't know if my husband told him it was our anniversary or we mentioned it when we booked the dinner, but we were given a beautiful card signed by everyone in the restaurant and a yummy piece of chocolate cake. That was a very nice touch and I can't remember the last time a restaurant did something nice like that for a special occasion overall, we had a very nice experience and we would go back again.

We came for a rehearsal dinner so there was a prefixed menu, this review does not reflect the standard menu. If you're still reading, then that means that you're interested in the prefix menu. Overall, I would say this is a pretty solid prefixed menu for a rehearsal dinner. There was a fish, a pork and a chicken dish all of which I had bites of and all of which were delicious, but from my main I went with the pork chop. No pork chop is never something that I would order at a restaurant, but the French onion pork chop sounded too good for me to miss. In fact, I think I might've asked the server if he preferred the pork chop or the chicken dish and he said the pork chop so that was my deciding factor. He did not steer me wrong though the pork chop was delicious. The cheese and the onions on top of the pork chop paired perfectly with however the pork chop was seasoned, and the sides for the pork chop also worked as a vessel to get more cheese and onion into my mouth. The salad that they brought out was delicious. I think it was a kale Caesar salad I remember correctly and I believe I ate every last bite. The dessert was also fantastic along with the drinks. The space they provided for the rehearsal dinner was a fantastic space it was over the water. We were secluded, but not so far away that we were forgotten about. It was actually the perfect space for an event. All of the food that I had was delicious, but none of it was the best I ever had of its type. So if you were looking for a safe option, that's gonna provide good food to guests. I think this is a good option, but I don't think any of your guests would walk away saying this is the best food they've ever had. Again I would absolutely book an event here. I will probably recommend this place for upcoming events that I need to attend. I can't wait to go back and try the full menu.

We came here to celebrate birthdays and friendships and while the service (5 stars great job Zach) and ambiance (4 stars sunset and cool breeze) were solid (minus the bugs from sitting outside), the food quality was a major letdown (1 star). I ordered the Grilled Double Bone-In 14oz Pork Chop, which was undercooked. After I had already cut and eaten some (along with two others at the table), I informed our waiter, Zach. The pork chop was sent back, but what came back was the same chop! missing the 4-6 pieces I'd already cut from the center to check the cooking temperature and the same sides. Second time a charm? Not in this case, still undercooked and raw. Both I and a friend ended up with stomach pain and body aches throughout the night, likely from eating undercooked pork--twice. Disappointing and concerning. Not what we expected for a celebratory dinner.

Have had multiple great experiences here - can't believe I haven't reviewed until now. Service is always on point from the staff - tonight it was Sierra and she was solid in both friendliness and attentiveness without being too overbearing. I had the monkfish meal tonight which was very good. I'm slowly going thru the seafood selections on each visit. So far, it's gonna be tough to beat that bang bang cod with Pad Thai. Consider us fans of this place which is consistent every visit. Save room for the bananas foster bread pudding. It's definitely enough to share.

I'm a frequent visitor to AquaGrill and always look forward to the experience. The ambiance is consistently good and inviting, relaxing, and perfect for any occasion, this time we were seated on the patio. On my most recent visit, the service was great Zack took great care of us and he was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the evening. Most of the meal was absolutely amazing, as usual. However, we did run into an issue: the pork chop, which I've ordered and loved in the past, was undercooked this time and had to be sent back. While it was a letdown, especially since I know how excellent it usually is, I appreciate Zach handled it promptly.

Aqua grill is a consistent choice in Ponte Vedra Beach near TPC Sawgrass. Great atmosphere and comfortable dining with great service. Food is consistently flavorful and presented nicely. The bananas foster bread pudding is delicious.

Last minute decision to eat here for NYE and we had a great experience. We did not have reservations but were immediately seated on the patio. I was worried it would be too cold, but the fire kept the space warm enough. Service was excellent and the food was better than usual. The fried green tomatoes are a must even if you don't usually care for them. The specials for the night all sounded delicious but we settled on the shrimp/striped bass and half roasted chicken specials. Sides were good and portions were more than enough. We had plenty leftover to take home. The bananas foster dessert was not as good as usual and only had a tiny spoonful of ice cream. Overall, great way to spend the last evening of 2025.

One of our favorite dinner spots. We had the fried green tomatoes. They came out hot and cooked to perfection. I had the AG salad and it was good. Our entrees were amazing. The disappointment for me was dessert. The ice cream came out melted and the bread in the bread pudding was hard and stale. Great service. Sat outside on a cold New Year's Eve, but the heaters made it very comfortable.

I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch visit to the Aqua Grill. The food was excellent and the outside seating was so breezy and relaxing. I would have given 4 stars because our waiter forgot a lot of things and disappeared for a long time (we were his only table apparently). However, an older gentleman, I'm assuming a supervisor, came and filled our drinks and fixed the problems immediately. He gave us a free dessert to make up for our orders being messed up. Everything tasted perfect and I loved how we didn't have to complain or ask because the supervisor noticed, apologized, and fixed the problem. That is truly amazing customer service and I'll definitely be back.

    Lobster Roll

Fantastic seafood, beautiful outdoor atmosphere, attentive service, and delicious food from start to finish. I first visited for lunch and enjoyed the lobster rolls so much that I returned the next evening with my husband and a group for dinner. Our waitress, Nikki, was incredibly helpful and made excellent recommendations. One person ordered the swordfish, while the rest of us chose the flounder served over lobster risotto. We sat outside by the pond, enjoying the relaxing breeze and atmosphere. We ended the evening with a delicious banana bread pudding topped with ice cream. For appetizers, we shared the Mediterranean platter, jumbo cocktail shrimp, fried green tomatoes, and a calamari platter -- every dish was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Aqua grill offers several different dining areas, and each has its own vibe. I truly enjoy the lakefront seating outside on the patio. During fall evenings, you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. They also have a private dining room and an area with a chef's pass table, which is kind of nice if you have a group that you want to impress. Of course, there is the bar area known for great happy hour specials. The dinner menu offers several starters, which we enjoyed: the charcuterie board and some calamari, which was very delightful and we also shared the Mediterranean platter. All starters were very good. Everything was fresh, vibrant-looking, and there were no problems with the starters. The menu itself is something you may want to view before you go to the restaurant. They offer a lot of seafood for the seafood enthusiast and have six non-seafood entrees, such as New York steak and filet mignon. Of course, last but not least, they have a beautiful bananas Foster bread pudding that you have to try, big enough to share with your whole table. Our server was a delight and just really wanted to make sure that we felt well taken care of and we did.

    Short Rib

Friday Night Dinner with My Love. We were promptly seated upon arrival and the ambiance was a cozy and inviting atmosphere. To start, our server brought over a complimentary cinnamon-sugar bread that was warm, but just ok. For the mains, my wife ordered the whole snapper while I chose the short rib. We couldn't resist swapping plates halfway through to experience both dishes. The short rib was rich and flavorful. The fish was also delightful, though I wasn't a huge fan of the side it came with. Just okay to me, but my wife really enjoyed it. For dessert, we shared the bread pudding with cappuccino and it was yummilicious! The perfect sweet ending to a wonderful meal. Overall, the service was attentive and friendly. A lovely evening all around.

She was such a sweetheart, made us feel welcome, and honestly was one of the highlights of our night. We had a lot of fun because of her kindness and great service. I admit I forgot to lock the stall door, but I was the only person in the restroom, and an employee opened the stall door without knocking or announcing themselves. They stood there for a few seconds before closing the door and leaving. It was embarrassing and made me feel very uncomfortable. We did speak to the manager afterward, and she was very kind and handled the conversation professionally, which I appreciated. The second issue was more concerning. After our meal, both my friend and I became sick. She had the penne pasta, and I had the chicken tenders. While I can't say with certainty what caused it, the timing was concerning enough that I felt it was important to mention. Overall, Mandy's service and the manager's kindness were excellent, but the restroom incident and becoming ill afterward unfortunately affected what otherwise could have been a great experience.
