Had an absolutely wonderful date night here with hubby to watch a local favorite singer and drink some wine. Jolie usually plays at wine bars in st augustine so I was thrilled to catch her closer to jax. PVVB does take reservations, so I booked 2 bar seats on a Friday night- good idea because we may not have been seated otherwise. We ended up staying for 3 hours! The vibe was perfect, bartenders professional and attentive, and the decor is just so vibrant and beautiful. Heads up they arent open past 11p so plan accordingly. Plenty of free easy parking. I've been wanting to try this wine bar and I finally went last weekend with one of my girlfriends! I was so so happy with my experience and it's lovely to see more lounge and wine bars pop up in the area. I feel like this is the perfect spot for a girls night out and the atmosphere is so pink and feminine, I'm a huge fan! They have adorable decor and colors that flow throughout the space. We got drinks off of their cocktail menu and split the balsamic fig chicken entrée. The food was delicious and I want to go back and try more! They have a great menu with a variety of appetizers and entrées. Our server was the cutest and I'm really excited for this to be a new hangout place for me and friends! read more

It was a rainy but we had an elevated visit at Ponte Vedra wine bar. We met the owner and our waitress was exceptional. They have live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Saturday and Sunday brunch are to die for. Unlimited mimosa and Blood Mary's all weekend long. Happy hour is from 3 to 6 pm, Monday through Friday which includes premium cocktails, house wines and beer. This is a very cozy atmosphere. There were plenty of women brunching it. Come up guys and grab your girl to the wine bar! Wifey had the big breakfast and her plate was cleaned. I had the chicken and waffles which were a treat! Dont forget the unlimited mimosas. Had a wonderful dinner at Ponte Vedra Wine Bar! We ordered the swordfish and scallops with risotto, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The seafood was cooked perfectly and the risotto was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was cozy and upscale without feeling pretentious, making it a great spot for a nice dinner or date night. Great food, great wine selection, and an overall fantastic experience--we'll definitely be back! read more

Such a cute spot in Ponte Vedra! The whole place has the perfect pink-and-green, cutesy vibes, super fun and girly. The Alison cocktail was gorgeous with a little shimmer and gave total cosmopolitan energy. Definitely a must-try if you love something pretty and tasty. The crab-stuffed mushrooms were absolutely delicious, probably my favorite bite of the night. The only downside was the reservation situation, the restaurant was packed with bookings, but the dining room sat mostly empty for about an hour. It felt like we could've been seated, enjoyed dinner, and been on our way by the time tables finally were sat. Overall, though, the aesthetic, drinks, and food made it a really fun experience . I'd go back but make sure to make reservations. read more

I have been wanted to go here since before they opened. I must have peered in the windows a dozen times while they were under construction. It looked so adorable with the pink and green decor, very Palm Beach. This first visit was for happy hour with a few girlfriends. We got there around 5 o'clock during the week. There were a few people at the bar, but not many. We decided to grab a seat at the bar so we could take advantage of the happy hour drink specials. All house wines were five dollars for HH which we really liked. We ended up ordering an appetizer to share. It was an interesting take on hummus. It was a nice size portion served in a bowl with small pita bread some cucumber and carrot sticks, but what was the most interesting thing was that there was a pepper jelly on the hummus. We commented to the owner what an interesting combination it was and it actually tasted very good. My friends and I loved the decor and commented that we would come back for a girls night. What a cute little place! Hidden in a strip mall, this adorable oasis has terrific drinks and an amazing ambiance with cute little decor everywhere. I think they leaned heavily into the decorations because they are still working out kinks in their service and food. I had shrimp and grits, and the grits were really horribly done, cold and congealed, but the shrimp and the sauce was spectacular. Avocado toast was decent, but nothing spectacular to write home about. I was also disappointed that they only had the brunch menu on Fridays. I had looked at their menu online before going and was looking forward to ordering some of of it, but there were only a few selections available. It also took around 40 min to get our food even though we were the first people to order and there were only two people in the restaurant. Our server was very nice. We might go back for drinks but I don't think we would go for a full service again. read more

Checked out Ponte Vedra Wine Bar for a girls night. This vibey wine bar and restaurant opened 4 weeks ago, and was the perfect place for a girls night. The interior is well decorated, and they even had photo opt walls near the bathrooms. We started with Buratta en Crute, Citrus Bruschetta, and Shrimp Fritters. Everyone enjoyed them. For my entree, I originally ordered the Lamb Chops but they were out, so I opted for the Filet Mignon. The first time they brought it out, it was over cooked (medium well instead of rare). The server and owned both came over to apologize, and were able to get me a new one that was cooked correctly quickly. I split the Carbonara Mac & Cheese and Summer Veggie Mix for my sides which were both tasty. Add this to the list for your next girls night! read more

A restaurant with amazing ambiance! I was very excited to try Ponte Vedra Wine Bar and was not disappointed by the decor; the bar, the wallpaper, the bright pink and green chairs all added to a fun and inviting atmosphere. I enjoyed my truffle fries and the cocktails were great but unfortunately that's where the positives end. I got a shrimp caesar salad for $21, more on the pricier end, and was given a huge bed of romaine with 6 shrimp which felt slightly expensive. The lighting in the restaurant is somehow both dark with the lack of lighting but also bright with the very harsh lights that are placed (this could have been where we were sitting, we were in the very back in a booth). The servers seemed to forget about us, not coming back after giving us our food and us having to remind the server to give us silverware and go back up to the bar to ask for the check. My friends were also meh about the food they got. The restaurant could also benefit from some music, as it was completely quiet. Overall, I would come back for the beautiful decor and some drinks and appetizers, but the food and service led us wanting more. read more

While the bar is nice and it is "cute" the food was terrible. I ordered the stuffed mushrooms. The filling was very good, but mushrooms themselves were barely cooked. Maybe a char was needed or some flavoring? One friend ordered the burrata. She took a bite, and left the rest on the plate. During another visit a friend had the veggie ceviche and she didn't care for it. I had Caesar and it was fine. I haven't gone for dinner yet, maybe we will give it a try. Servers at the bar were attentive. I am disappointed as wanted this new location to be a winner. read more

My friend and I were really looking forward to checking this place out, it's absolutely stunning inside what girl wouldn't plus it was a Saturday evening .However we felt uncomfortable the second we got to the host stand. There were only 2 tables sat and a few people at the bar not busy at all. It took 4-5 min before we were asked if we wanted to be sat which is normal however it was empty and the hostess made eye contact with us multiple times and kept walking past us not a "be right with you" or anything, instead she was next to the bar asking about us to what looked to be the manager. (You could tell because they would look at us talk then look directly back) we all felt profiled and as if they did not want to seat us. We were sat and the server was sweet, we ordered one bottle of wine, a beer and appetizers. It took 20 min in a completely empty restaurant to get our drinks and when they finally came 2/3 wine glasses were dirty. We brushed it off they just opened a few weeks back so we wait on our food. Another 20 or so minutes go by so at this point it's been 40 minutes in an empty restaurant waiting on Brussel sprouts and truffle fries. She comes over and says the kitchen switched the tickets which did not make sense given it again was empty but we did not complain because they took care of it for the mix up. Which was very sweet but the bacon Brussel sprouts were missing the bacon and came out half cooked. They even turned off all the lights in both bathroom areas before we got our check, needless to say we felt uncomfortable. The ambiance of this place 10/10 but unfortunately I wish the hospitality was better. But I'd be interested to give it a try for brunch and see if there's a difference. read more
