So I decided to get a pedicure to kill to before my hair appointment and I've been here before and it was a pretty decent pedicure so I was like why not go again. So I'm sitting here and the women starts on my pedicure and she's taking off my gel and the receptionist is like you have an appointment at 11:30 and it's like 11:20 at this point and they sit there and talking and the lady just stops in the middle of my service and goes to her appointment and says someone will be with you shortly. Like what? Your doing my pedicure, how are you just gonna stop in the middle of my service bc you guys didn't plan right? So I'm sitting here half way through my service and I see people after me getting people and starting to set up. After about the third person after me got started on while I was still sitting there waiting for someone to finish my pedicure I walked out. I took my 6 year old daughter with 2 of her friends here to get a manicure. They were really accomadating, very nice and polite, being I had 3 little girls with tons of energy. I would tell my girls to sit down and I am assuming the "owner" said it was fine. It was vey clean and even the other customers were really nice. I would most def go back!!! read more

Went for gel nails. Ok job. Will go back due to price vs time and experience of nail artist. This is a typical mass hysteria on multiple people getting manis and pedis quickly and on a budget. 1st visit for a pedi & no complaints! I walked in and was helped right away, no wait. They are very unique and do things in their standard routine that other salons don't do. Long massage, hot towel wrap, hot wax in bags that sit on your feet, hot stones as toe spacers. I also liked that a lot of the ladies (and men) speak English so it was easy to communicate with them. This was my first time here and overall it was a good experience. The only problem I had is that the cuticles on my toes are super sensitive, and she made me bleed on one toe. She was apologetic though, and it didn't really hurt so it wasn't a huge deal. Other than that, they were very nice and got my friend and I in quickly. I got gel acrylic nails here yesterday and it was a good overall experience. My friend and I went in around 3:30 and we were seated immediately. My friend had Michael who did an excellent job on her nails and took the time to talk to us. I had Elsa who was so sweet and my nails look very good. I was nicked enough times to not give 5 stars, but this was the best experience and salon I have had. They have limited colors for a nail salon and most of the colors have sparkles and I prefer my nails to be more matte, but it was still go. I would recommend this place. read more

First time here and I will definitely be back! Excellent customer service. The pedicures are amazing! The pedicure includes paraffin wax and hot towels for only $25! The gel manicures are $30. This is why I do not go to anyone else but my girl for years & years. I was desperate to get my nails done but my normal girl was off & I only like going to her (which is at the Aqua Nails on Nees & Willow). I was aware this wasn't the same owner but I thought maybe they'd live up to the clean name like the other location. My friend needed her nails done too so I agreed to go with her to this location. Only reason being they closed at 7:30 and the other one closed at 5 & it was already 4:30. First of all, this place is significantly more run down- the people are rough too. They really should change their name because their branding is poor. The guy at the front was actually nice though as I wrote down my name for a wait. My friend got a pedicure & regular manicure while I got a gel manicure on my hands. I was done with my gel manicure before anyone else got started on my friends regular manicure. My girl butchered the crap out of my nails. She was too rough and kept "shoo-ing" my hand away for her to work on the next one. She told me to keep my hand in the dryer super rude after I just needed to scratch my face & took my hand out for a split second. She didn't even paint my nails well--they do look better than before but I would definitely never recommend this place or go back. read more

This place is terrible. My friend wanted a girls day so we booked appointments. The pedicure was worth every penny, but the man that did my nails did a horrible job. I already had pink and white tips so I only needed a fill with a little design. He did not properly drill away the nail in order to fill my nails without them looking terrible or bubbling. Not only did they start lifting from the center but now I'm terrified of an infection because of the dirt and air pockets in the center of my nails! Lets talk about the design I asked for a simple silver line at the tips and maybe a snow flake on my ring finger. Simple enough right?? He completely missed!! The line was WAY above the white! How, why???? He then tried to do a snow flake and said "sorry I can't do it". Okay that's fine... but didn't even bother to ask another employee if they could possibly do it for me. Needless to say I left pretty upset... still paying $75 dollars. Never again!! read more

I was In dire need of a full set, I had my nails done in 114 degree weather( outside do to covid) I was not provided any shade. The lady who did my nails was KImmy which was horrible! She didn't take her time and just rushed not letting the glue set. Not even a weak latter my nails just peeled off with no hesitation. I was on vacation at the time and had to go get them redone at a other place-not convenient. Upon going into to show them my nails which I saved for them to show them they accused me of peeling them off myself and wouldn't issue a refund because they had no evidence of me being there-they don't keep a record because they are not suppose to be open. I kindly left my nails on the counter and walked away. I was told that someone would call me about a possible refund but ever heard anything this all happen on 8-22 and nails came off the next Sunday 8-30-2020 went in to show them 8-31-2020. This was the absolute worst nail place I have ever been to. Some of the staff were completely rude! Both the ladies who did my nails and toes did not listen to what I wanted at all. Loved my experience here at Aqua Nails! I read previous reviews which made me skeptical about coming but I think businesses deserve a chance despite what other people say. My dad, mom, and I went in Sunday morning, we decided to go right at 9:00 in hopes of missing "the rush" - which we did! I'm not sure if timing had to do with it but I saw a lot of complaints regarding them rushing, there is no excuse for that; however, it can all be with timing. It's very stressful trying to get through x amount of people while still making sure all guests are satisfied. If you're reading this, and do decided to go I would opt for an earlier time or a time when it won't be so crowded. They did an excellent job with my parents and I - none of us left disappointed with the outcome or by the service given. Please give this place a try on YOUR own behalf and not let some of the negative dictate your opinion on this place because they do deserve a chance!!!!! Aqua spa is an overrated place. The ambiance is nice but its noisy in there, looks fancy but not for a quiet, peaceful, relaxing time. However they do a really good wax job great for people with sensitive skin. Oh and they would prefer their tips in cash not on debit or credit. This place can be really hot and cold. Sometimes, it's a wonderful experience. Other times I just can't wait to leave. Unless you request the same person every time, the service and quality of work differs per person. I have also noticed that they literally make up the price on the tags without any menu option to refer to. I almost always go with my mom and there have been times where we got the same services but her pedi is $3 more or my mani is $2 less. The price is great, the interior is actually quite messy, unorganized, and unfinished. It was nice when it opened but you can tell they don't clean the pedi spas as well as they should or the general salon. read more

The worst service I have ever encountered!!! I walked in on a Sunday afternoon. The place was packed, but I got seated right away. I wanted a gel mani, chose my color and the technician got to work. She was in such a hurry! She removed the gel, cut and shaped my nails and was about to start polishing all within 5 minutes!!! Seriously?! My nails were all uneven, differently shaped and was definitely not the relaxing experience I was expecting!!!! Anyway, I got up, she gave me a $20 bill to pay at the front. The guy at the front took the money, I complained to him about the service and asked for the technicians license...bc I'm going to complain to the board. He rolled his eyes, shook his head and the owner showed up. She insisted she would do my nails herself...but I was over that place. I attempted to take a pic of the license...was told that it's illegal. Attempted to write down the name of the technician, the license was snatched from my hands. I have been going to the Herndon and fowler one. First I had several nails that were slanting and not on straight I brought it to Kimberlys attention she tried to file it straight lol still slanted. They last several times she has burned my nail bed and skin so bad my nails stung for days not to mention the scabs on by skin around my Nails. Had a pedicure this last visit and Christine scrubbed the tops of my toes so hard with the scrub brush they also have open skin that stings. I would never go her again. 26 dollars for a gel polish change on my hands is really too high and for a mediocre job at that. When asking the girl up front she even said it must be a mistake because usually she thought it was 16. I know their other locations do not charge that much. When she went to check the price she came back and said because it takes them 30 minutes to remove the previous gel polish, they charge 26. No one had a concrete response about the price.
