The manicure was okay however the entire time the woman was answering the phone and helping customers. I understand they don't have someone to attend to customers but I didn't even get my massage on my hands. the Woman put cream on my hand and then was doing so many other things and helping other people that eventually I rubbed the cream in and left. I may give it another try and ask to go to someone that does not have to answer the phone and check people in! read more

I think it's about time I write a review for Aqua Nails. I have been going to Aqua Nails for 2+ years, even though I have tried other places, I always come back. Owner Annie is very nice and very accommodating. They don't mind extending business hours if their clients went past their regular business hours. Annie, Kelly and Cindy are great with gel and acrylic nails. When I had gel nails I will go to any one of them and they will take care of me. Kim gives excellent pedicures - including cutting hang nails from the big toe so it doesn't hurt when I wear boots. Kelly is great with waxing my brows and also lash extension. All of them are skilled professional as well as artists. Excellent customer service and they will make sure your nails look nice before you leave their doors. They accept credit cards, but tip in cash only! read more

We are always warmly greeted when we enter, the salon is always very clean, warm and welcoming. The staff is great, prices are reasonable and great service, what more could you ask for? read more

I really like this place. I see Andy and he does a great job. He is very technically and artistically talented. I've brought in some nails styles that are pretty difficult to pull off but he always does it exactly like the photo I bring in. Everyone that works here is always friendly. They also stay on top of their sanitation. The one thing I don't like about this place is the waiting time. I've had to wait for over an hour before and that's WITH an appointment. Probably the worst pedicure I've ever had. I came around 2:30pm and was told to come back at 4pm. I did, and waited 15 minutes before they took me. The woman working on my feet asked me if I wanted scraping done, to which I said yes. She did not tell me it cost $5 extra dollars. Typically, scraping is part of a basic pedicure! I then asked if hot stones came with the basic pedicure and was told no. Okay. Fine. When she was done she told me to sit in the pedicure chair and dry. I asked if they had a drying machine, and she made a face. I asked again and got "FINE, I'll move you". All in all a terrible, expensive experience. read more

I am a regular customer. 3x a month at least. I over tip. I used to like this place but it's gone way downhill. I went in tonight as a walk in and they asked me to come back in 40 minutes. I came back in 35 mins and continued to wait and no one asked me what I needed. I finally approached the desk and one of the girls said sorry we all have clients now come back in an hour. After I had already waited 40 mins. Why lie to me that you'll be free in 40 mins then turn me away AGAIN when I could have give somewhere else?? Total waste of my time. I recently switched salons because I was unhappy with the service at my previous salon. I have been twice in the last month to aqua. I was happy with my first manicure so I returned. My nails were an unholy mess after a Mexican vacation. I was a bit embarrassed and said my nails are a mess. Kelly just smiled and said it's ok you are here. Another excellent manicure. Aqua Nails is by far my favorite place to go. Obviously to get my acrylics done, but its also a great atmosphere and I could honestly hang out in there if I were just bored! Everyone is super friendly (employees and customers both). As far as nails go-- they always do the most fantastic job. Love this place! People are nice and friendly and always attentive. Tried this place out because a friend recommended it and I will never go away! Meghan does an amazing pedicure taking ALL ingrown nails out and her manicures are always gorgeous. She was the first person to do my nails here and I had no complaints so I haven't tried anyone else. I've never heard a bad thing about any technician and I don't doubt it. This place honestly sucks. When I first went in, it was completely dark and nobody was there. All of the desk were completely covered with nonsense stuff. Everything was unorganized for me to say. Then I felt like it took them atleast half an hour for me to wait and for them to start my nails. And the color turned out what I didn't asked for. Also I'm pretty sure she fucked up my thumb also. Very friendly from when I walked in, great English, let me keep the coupon I was using to use for next time. Paid $20 for a gel manicure and $10 for an eyebrow wax that my nail tech offered. Definitely experienced better, but not an awful place. They did a lovely job on my french manicure, problem is that it didn't even last two days! And I usually put gloves on before I do dishes, clean, etc. My nails usually last a very long time... Anyways, pedicure's lasting for a decent amount of time though. However, they asked if I wanted the callous treatment (?) I don't even have any callouses, they just did the treatment they do at most nail salons that grinds away dead skin... I had never been here before and my friend suggested it so I went along with her. I got a full set of acrylics like I normally do when I go to the nail salon. I have been getting acrylics for years but never have I experienced such bad acrylics till now. Since getting my full set Friday already 5 of the nails have come off in the past 2 days. My white and pink acrylics came out beautiful and still look beautiful a week later and she did an excellent job on my eyebrows! I was in Norwood visiting my son and his family, my shellac needed to be redone for I had broken few nails, they were able to take me on the spot and they open at 9, which is great, Cindy removed the old shellac with the foil wrap and not with an acetone soak which would dry out the fingers. then she cleaned the cuticles, removed the dead skin from around the nail which made my fingers feel so much better, did a lovely job on the shellac french manicure, made my nails look all the same length, suggested a natural color to finish it which looked really nice. She was professional, nice, quick but not hurried, she knew what she was doing and asked for my approval before curing it. I will definitely go to her next time I am in town visiting. This place is awful. The service received there is less then acceptable, not from the workers, but from the owner. They over charge for cheap nail polish. I called and spoke to the owner and advised her of how unhappy I was with the service received, i let know that the nail polish was not good, it bubbled up and i paid too much money to leave unappy, i told her that it l9oks like a 9 yr old put my nailpolish on...not only did she insult me, she stated for me to find a 9 yr old to so. How is this customer service? How does one conduct business in that manner? Needless to say, I will not be going there again. read more

Yesterday I brought my daughter and I to get our nails done. We patiently waited about 20 minutes before our services started. My pedicure was first. They sat me in a broken chair with no massage and while the water was filling up it was so hot it literally burnt my foot. The woman instantly turns the cold water on telling me "that's better". She's starts my "relaxing" pedicure by telling me my feet are horrible and I need the additional callus scrub. I'm sitting in a broken chair with my feet in cold water, your not getting extra! I then said never mind please just change the polish. She then finally stops my pedicure and switches me to a chair that works. While she was finishing my very rushed pedicure another unhappy worker started my young daughters nails. This girl had absolutely no patience or personality at all and again they were trying to sell stuff to her as well. Making sure that she needed to get those $3 designs on her fingers. After my pedicure was done I was brought into a small room to get my eyebrows waxed. I only wanted just eyebrows but I was told that my lip absolutely needed to be done and that it would make my face look so much smoother. I never once said I wanted it done but she kept pushing me. It was extremely rude. I kindly said no and waited while she ripped the wax off my now uneven eyebrows. Finally I sat in the chair to get a basic manicure. Again I had to soak my fingers in a bowl full of cold water that looked dirty. I noticed my daughter smudged one nail and asked the girl to just put a thin coat over it just to fix it. She also smudged the corner of her toe but the girl apparently didn't feel like fixing it as she rushed off the another client. Needless to say I grabbed a little nail polish remover and fixed my daughters toe myself. I had no patience left. The girl sat on her phone with headphones instead of using a little customer service. We dried our nails and I was completely appalled by spending a total of $78 on the worst service I have ever received!!!! This used to be my favorite place to go.. Never again!!!! read more

first time going to aqua nails and last time. im sure some people love it here. ive never in my life gone to a nail salon and got approached with a cracker in someones mouth first, from that moment everything went downhill. my pedi was suppose to be 30 min and it literly was 10min. she burnt me with the water while washing my legs and she didnt even say sorry or omg r u ok. then to the manicure, even worst. it took her 5 min. my appt was at 2:15 i left at 3:00 thats including my nails drying and the manager fixing my messy nail polish. shes lucky i tipped her. she didnt even talk once to me. she made it seem like i killed someone in her family. when we went to pay she slammed my sisters debit card on the front desk and walked away. if i could give a zero star i would thats how bad it was. I did talk to the manager bcz i work in customer service for 13 years and she had no class at all. the manager was nice ofcourse cuz thats her business. to the point yelp placed b4 u go there u less u want to experience it yourself. read more
