I paid $1000 for a 30 minute job of running an auger to clear a sewer line. Sewer line was…read morereclogged within days. There was no warranty on the work and no guarantees on a $1000 job. Their only response was to continue to push the $7k job to crack the foundation. While I agree that there are additional fixes needed, the camera showed enough clearance in the pipes that it should have been able to flow using septic toilet paper as advised. I only wanted the clog to be fixed while I worked on arranging the overall fix, but Dustin did not agree and was very combative regarding my request for a simple visit to guarantee the $1000 job I just paid for.

The price quote ended up being a great value. The two guys that arrived were friendly and professional. Just nice guys. They got to work right away, and were done in about an hour. Included in the valve replacement cost, they excavated and replaced the old and inadequate builder-installed utility box with a much better one. They substantially elevated the water pipe junction to ensure it remains easy to access in the future, installed an additional water shut-off valve, and added pea gravel for drainage. Mother Modern Plumbing will be the only plumbing service that I'll ever call again. I had been dealing with a shower and washing machine drain stoppage for a while. All other drains were fine and nothing I tried was working to clear the blocked shower and washer drain. This experience with Mother Modern Plumbing was as perfect as it gets. The first thing I noticed when I called was a quality of true kindness.. Gabby took that call and she was great. Even with my complicated schedule this week (medical appointments) she managed to work me into their schedule. She was absolutely excellent. And each of their team members that I spoke with, also had that same quality of kindness. Just genuine NICE people. Willie came over to clear the drain problem and he's an awesome guy. He figured out immediately the best approach to get the clog out. And he showed me the images with a special camera down in the drain. He's by far the most considerate person I've ever had over here. This unit has an automatic shutoff if water is detected in drain pan. When we have very strong thunderstorms, the paper cover on the sensor will become wet and shut off the water. I called to ask about this problem and they sent 2 plumbers who spent 15 minutes in the attic, told me there was no roof leak and charged me $86. This is after spending a lot of money with them over the years. These folks have gotten too expensive and so I will looking for a new plumber.
