Juan did a great, professional job providing me with a new pool cover. He worked very hard to ensure that I was choosing the right color for my pool and something that would look good with my deck and landscaping. He always was on time and answered my questions and telephone calls. His wife and partner Roberta is very professional as well. If Juan was with other clients she would assist with my calls and questions. In addition to the pool cover, Juan had to replace a very large pipe because mine was disintegrating from the chemicals. Don't expect your repair to be done correctly or to have this guy Juan come back when his work fails after 2 days. He will just take your money and never return your call. Came to fix a broken rope, charged more than his estimate. His work was clearly deficient even to the untrained eye, and it failed after 2 days. He wouldn't return a call or text about the problem. Never came back, just kept my money. I've never written a review on YELP before but had to this time. Run, swim fast, but don't call them. read more

Three years ago my vacation rental pool cover began to leak and was not closing properly. My pool cover company would not come to repair their cover. I found Aquacover and Juan came to the property and discovered the reel needed to be replaced. He showed me how the aluminum had disintegrated due to the salt in the water. He repaired it and the cover, promptly and was a pleasure to work with. I called him the next year because at the same vacation rental, with guests excited to swim, on a Saturday, the cover stuck and would not open. He came that day and saved the guests' vacation. When the cover needed replacement, Juan found a slightly used one for me. He has gone out of his way to find solutions to every issue I have had. This guy came to my house on the same day that I called, been vulnerable and not knowing much about the hot tub in question because we just purchased the home, I ask to troubleshoot the machine due to a malfunction and not working. He came and after a few minutes he said that I needed to change everything, the reason that I called is because I wanted to obtain data to eliminate any options to spend money, he then said I'll get you a price to replace the items, I said what's is wrong with it, he's respond was I assumed that everything was fried. If I knew I would replace all controllers on my own. He charged me 95$ just for showing up, it has been already 2 weeks and no call or estimates yet, totally unprofessional about it. I will check the reviews before calling someone, I was desperate and fixing the hot tub, but people will take advantage of people not knowing much about the issues, just FYI, don't call them, thanks. Just ridiculous. Called Friday and was given an appointment time for Saturday at 10 am. I explained that I had an above ground pool and I needed their help installing the heater for it. Juan, the "technician", called Saturday at 9:30 to tell me he couldn't make it because one of their regular customers had an emergency. Uh...okay...kinda makes you wonder how they even have any regular customers if they cancel at the last minute with their new customers. He didn't apologize, nothing, just said he would be here Monday at 8 am. Come Monday, at 8:25, no call, no show, I call Juan. "Yeah, I'll be there in about ten minutes. Are you there now?" "Um, yeah, I've been waiting for you!" Again, no apology. Juan shows up, no handshake, no apologies, no personality whatsoever. What's the first thing he says? "I don't install heaters on above ground pools." "Juan? Leave. Just. Leave." What a bizarre and frustrating waste of my time. read more
