    Grilled Tuscan Chicken Sandwich

Not worth your time. Only option within the Pala Mesa Resort, so it's not like you'd have much of a choice if you're here golfing or staying at the hotel. Ordered our food and it took almost 40 minutes to arrive, even though there was quite literally 5 other people sitting down here. The food wasn't bad but nothing special. We ordered the GRILLED CHICKEN SANDWICH, CRISPY CHICKEN SANDWICH, & PRIME RIB DIP SANDWICH.

Located at a golf resort, the ambience was nice and there was live entertainment on a Friday night. It was busy but not overly crowded with large groups. Service was average, but we were checked on and the wait was not overly long. Our meal of Calimari and Choppino was good and didn't have any issues, but would not be considered gourmet. The location was the best reason for stopping there as it is convenient to local Wineries and the Pala Casino.

Decent place to stay if having a wedding in fallbrook like what we did. Frequented the restaurant often for breakfast lunch and dinner. I liked the steak and eggs even though the steak was much smaller the second day. Happy hour had good deals and the service was solid. Wouldn't go out of my way to come here but a great option for staying at the resort

I would much rather golf than eat here. Disappointed that my avocado toast did not use fresh cut avocado, more of a paste. The pickled radish tasted old and the bread was not even toasted. I asked for the egg and feta on the side. I do not recommend the avo toast. The service was pretty slow for early Saturday morning, but the views of the golf course are nice.

Terrible! The champagne was flat, and turned into vinagar taste. They replalced with a new one and better. However, the kobe hamburger was cold and completely RAW! Waitress returned 45 minutes later after others had already eaten. The fries were so salty that it was clear there must have been an accidental pour. The manager sat at a table and drank three wines, and two of the waitresses stood in front of our table dancing, preventing us from watching the concert. The kicker, they charged us for full price for a meal that was absolutely inedible. Yep, $60.00, for that lovely experience and pray I dont get sick. On a good note, it was Holloween, and the band was absolutely incredible!

Dined here on 12/15 at 4pm. Nice ambiance. Female could have been a little more outgoing and not so shy. You could tell she just wanted to take the order and go. She seemed nervous. Baked avocado was ok. I wanted to try it because it seemed interesting and different, but I would not order it again. There was nothing that wowed me with the flavor. The rest of the food was good and tasty. Brussel sprouts are delicious.

The restaurant is inside the hotel in the Golf course. The view is beautiful. If you want to relax and have drinks with friends this is a nice place. The alcohol drinks are great. The bar tender makes them strong. The food I do not recommend. We waited around 30-40 mins to get our food. The food had no flavor. Recommend this place only for Drinking and golfing but not for food.

Spaghetti Squash with pancetta, pomegranate seeds, and balsamic reduction. A must!

I was hesitant because of the recent reviews, but since we were staying at the hotel, and it was raining, we thought we'd try it. LOVED IT! Everything was delicious - squash, steak, drinks, and BRUSSELS (and I'm a connoisseur!). I never leave reviews but felt compelled to. Monica, our sever, is a jewel. Several regulars came to say hello to her while we were eating.

We love Aquaterra Restaurant! We come here every time we are in town! This is our second time we have Andi. She is over the top with attentiveness, kindness and the food is always fabulous!

The place was was nicely decorated. The bathrooms were nice and clean (not funny smells). The dinning area was spotless with updated sort of nautical beach hints. When we were seated, we asked for a high chair three separate times before one was finally brought to our table. The high chair turned out to be too small for our son, so we asked if we could use a booster seat on the end chair instead. The server seemed hesitant, mentioning she wasn't sure she'd be able to get by the chair. We said that was fine and instead placed the booster seat between my wife and me. After struggling to get our son comfortable, we eventually realized the booster seat has two different height settings depending on which side is facing down. It would have been helpful if that had been pointed out when it was brought to the table. Throughout the meal, our server seemed distracted and wasn't around very often. Our food was brought out by other staff members, which isn't necessarily a problem by itself, but combined with the lack of check-ins it made the service feel disconnected. The biggest disappointment came when I took my son outside while we waited. The benches, chairs, and handrails in the waiting area were covered in bird droppings. There were spider webs in multiple places, and the entrance to the restaurant itself looked dirty. I understand the restaurant is going for an old harbor or fishing-boat atmosphere, but there's a big difference between rustic and neglected. Instead of feeling charming or nautical, it felt like years of dirt and grime had simply been left in place. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but basic cleanliness and attentive service are things I expect from any restaurant, especially when dining with a young child. I hope management takes this as constructive feedback because the restaurant has potential, but our experience left us with little desire to return.

I love their happy hour deals. $1 oyster Monday and $5 taco Tuesday are bomb (2 taco will definitely feed you dinner!). The $13 HH burger is an unbeatable deal and I love their ceviche and their fish loaded fries The only reason why I don't rate this place 4 or 5 stars is that the food quality isn't consistent. My mother and I had some disappointment when re-ordering some items in the menu on different days. I am certain that this will improve and wish the best of luck to this business. If you pass by Vista make sure you check this place out. Recommended.

We also tried the gumbo, and it was incredible rich, flavorful, and the perfect complement to the seafood. On Saturday we wandered into TCI for dinner and started with the heirloom tomato and burrata with crostini. It was so fresh and delicious that I briefly considered writing the tomatoes a thank-you note. Next came the Harvest Valley Salad, which somehow managed to make me genuinely excited about lettuce--an achievement that deserves recognition from the culinary Olympics. For our entrée we ordered the Wagyu Steak Frites with chimichurri. The steak was cooked so perfectly it should probably be framed instead of sliced. Every bite was fantastic. We finished with the ube panna cotta, which was elegant, silky, and the kind of dessert that makes you promise you'll "just have one bite" before accidentally eating half of it. Nathan took wonderful care of us all evening. He was warm, friendly, attentive, and struck that perfect balance between making us feel welcome and giving us time to enjoy the gorgeous patio. Watching the sunset with live music in the background and that spectacular view? It was one of those evenings that quietly reminds you why people go out to eat in the first place. Apparently we enjoyed ourselves so much that we came back the very just two days for lunch. (Scientific research requires repeat testing.) We started with the hummus, which arrived looking like it belonged in an art gallery. Fortunately, it tasted every bit as good as it looked. Then came the chile relleno, which was absolutely outstanding. If this dish ever goes missing, I'd recommend checking my refrigerator first. Faith was wonderfully friendly and outgoing, and our food expeditor, David, was so genuinely warm and personable that by the time he left the table, it felt like we'd known him for years. Restaurants can teach hospitality, but that kind of kindness is simply who some people are. My only tiny suggestion: please turn on the patio misters during these triple-digit California afternoons. The food was keeping us warm emotionally; the weather was handling the rest. And on the way out we let Christine know the carpets at the entrances needed a vacuum. Fantastic food, exceptional service, beautiful views, and an atmosphere that keeps drawing us back. Cork Fire Kitchen has once again reminded us why it's one of our favorite places to dine. Bravo to the entire team!
