I picked up the truck this last time you did warranty work! My mother and I specifically asked the Hispanic gentleman that helped us if the warranty was extended that day to which he responded with I don't know I had nothing to do with this vehicle! "Real professional by the way! " he then looked into the original work and we were told no it's warranted from the original date and you have now run out of warranty..... therefore indicating the work that had been done was not warranted anymore and after the day I picked it up nor did he tell us it was extended because I specifically asked those questions. It is not an us problem it is a you and your shop problem. You over charge for piss poor work! I understand parts wear out but for my truck to be In your shop 3 times within a year of you rebuilding it speaks volumes on the knowledge and work ability of your mechanics! There should be zero issues with the rebuild transmission in the first year when it's literally a town vehicle and is not used to load or tow absolutely anything just a drive around town vehicle. So no it is not on us. We can bring it back if it will actually be fixed but we WILL NOT be paying a damn dime if you want to charge us as you did state on the phone you wanted us to meet you in the middle and pay have of the diagnostic fee! To which our truck transmission start acting up the very next day we picked it up from you! On top of that you contacted my husband asking him to take down his bad review because it was bad for your business but so is lying and stealing hardworking money from honest people! So I took my gmc here just over a year ago. They rebuilt my transmission and months later it went out. Took it in under warranty and not even 10,000 miles later it went out again. Got it rebuilt on the last day of the warranty and barely a week later having issues with the way it's shifting. You figured spending over 3k and after 2 times having it rebuilt they would fix the problem but clearly they aren't doing something right. Now I have to dump another 3k to get it fixed but it's not going back here that's for sure. I could understand if I was towing a heavy trailer or racing my truck around town but I don't do any of that. At this point I would rather just get my money back because they clearly can't fix the problem. read more

I had car problems with my Dodge magnum. When I drove my car on the freeway speeding up to the speed limit, it started revving up. I wasn't quite sure if it was a slipping Transmissions or something else related to it, but they diagnosed it and found out it was the torque converter clutch and solenoid body valve. Because of my miles they recommended that I just replaced the transmission verses getting those two fixed would be just about as much as getting a new. If I planned on having a reliable car for further down the road. I am a short girl and skeptical when going to a shop I've never been to. I been looking for a place to get a transmission flush to my 17 Toyota Camry. I got a quote from the dealer, which changed within 2 weeks, to a price that I wasn't happy about. So, I started shipping for prices. First I tried Midas, they said that they don't have the machine to do it, but referred me to AR. I also when to Firestone and they said the same thing, and they too referred me to AR. So I went to AR Transmission this morning and got a Great quote, much cheaper than everyone else. I was excited also because they had a good score on Yelp. Upon entering the establishment, I talked with Gabe Grijalva (parts and service advisor), who was very attentive and professional. The CEO Randy Aaronian, came out also to assist in getting the information off of my vehicle. Both gentlemen were great and kind, knowing that I was seriously in need. They quoted me a time and cost estimate, and I immediately turned my car over to them for service. While waiting, I talked with Randy for a while. Gabe had to leave the office for business but informed me that Steve Knutsen, the Manager would do the final step for payment. Meeting Steve was a great experience, very knowledgeable and helpful. I mentioned about a review and he was glad that I had a good experience with AR Transmission. Thank you Gentlemen for your business and I look forward to recommending people to your shop. I saw some of the negative reviews and after using common sense and knowledge, it looks like the bad reviewers aren't very knowledgeable about vehicles and that all places will fix what you ask and also tell you about other problems that someone's car has. I was skeptical at first , I was recommended from a friend that these guys are the best at replacing a clutch is vehicles . So I took a chance and went with them . Made an appointment actually right as they open and they were super busy already! I will say it did take longer then the mechanic first. That was probably the only problem I had with my experience. But hey I understand- they were busy and I was just in line like the rest of the vehicles in there . I needed my clutch changed out , got my truck back and it felt just like new .
