We are here getting ready to experience the Arabian Palace

We had the Arabian Experience, and it was absolutely fantastic! The space was welcoming, comfortable, and able to accommodate groups of all sizes. During our visit, there was a family of around 10 dining there, yet the restaurant still felt organized and spacious. Whether you're dining alone, with a date, or with a large family gathering, this is a great place to enjoy a meal. The service was amazing. Our server was kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout the entire experience. We were seated promptly and well taken care of from start to finish. We started with the Mix Appetizer Platter, which included hummus, baba ghanoush, dolma, tzatziki, and falafel served with fresh baked-to-order pita. The portion was generous and could easily be shared comfortably among four people. Everything was delicious, but the baba ghanoush was our favorite. For our entrées, we enjoyed the chicken shawarma and the shrimp wrap. Both were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. We also had the mango drink, which was refreshing and delicious. To finish, we ordered the pistachio baklava, and it was incredible crispy layers of phyllo dough filled with pistachios and topped with just the right amount of syrup. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was inviting, and the portions were generous. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and we will definitely be returning!

What a cute little spot!! It's bright, the decor is appealing, and it's quite cozy! We were helped right away upon arriving. We sat ourselves and they had table service who brought us menus and our drinks. The service was kind and helpful and the food came out quickly and was fresh and hot! Now for the food! Yum! This was so good! The chicken had great flavor, there were also peppers and onions inside that added a fresh crunch. I think the peppers were pickled, which was a fun surprise! The garlic sauce they serve with the wrap is also amazing! I can't wait to try more off the menu!

Dropped in again for some Lamb Ouzi. Well spiced, full of nuts fragrant rice with juiciest tender, off the bone lamb meat. The best, don't miss out on this one. We also had the Chicken shawarma plate this time but it was highly disappointing.

Being avid foodies, we were excited to try this Middle Eastern restaurant! We tried the Babe Ganoush, Shawarma Wrap, Lamb Tikka, and Shrimp Plate. For beverages, we all had the Vimto - which reminded me of a mix of root beer and bubblegum. It sounds odd, but it was very good! All of us liked the food quite well. I will say the rice was a touch spicy. For us, it was enjoyable but for children maybe substitute with basmati rice or a more plain option. The space is small but has nice artwork and simple but vibrant wallpaper/paint, so the atmosphere was nice and all the tables were clean. It has a traditional diner feel in that you seat yourself and pay at the counter once you are done. Our hostess/waitress seemed new though, and a bit confused about the Yelp Elite program and how it worked. I don't know whether our wrap was comped or not as they didn't give us the receipt, but she was polite and seems like she just needs some more experience! :) We got some pistachio baklava on the way out too. It was all very good, and had a variety of families come in for dining in and takeout. Overall, pretty enjoyable!

I liked them when my son brought home a take out from here last year, but I will tell you, the food when you dine in there is twice as better. It is all just so fresh and bright when it's brought out. The flavors are very subtle, and if anyone was timid about trying it, they shouldn't be. You should have seen my guy's eyes when they brought out the lamb shank. If you think it looks big in my pic, I can assure your there is another half of it in the wonderful rice. Everything they make is great. I commented to my daughter that if I were ever to be a vegetarian, this is what I would have everyday.

We got the mixed appetizer platter, lamb ouzi, shish taouk, shawarma loaded fries, and beef shawarma. The mixed appetizer platter included hummus, baba ghanoush, dolma, fattoush, and falafel. The hummas was smooth and slightly sweet. It was covered in dill and sumac. I have had better but it was a really solid hummas. The baba ghanoush was smokey and not as smooth. It was really good! Dolma is a rice, herbs, and tomatoes leaf wrapped dish. I like it a lot! It was soft and tender! There was pomegranate molasses on top which was tart and helped cut the earthiness of the herbs! Fattoush was a salad that was sweet, sour, and refreshing! It contained romaine lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, and herbs! The falafel was good! Crispy and herby and paired really well with the hummus! I will say though they were slightly raw in the middle. The lamb ouzi was well worth the price! The rice was fragrant and spiced! The raisins were a perfect addition. The almonds added an interesting texture and taste. The lamb shank was tender and falling on the bone. It wasn't too gamey. It was a bit spicy but in a pleasurable way and not intolerable. It came with a side soup that was tomato based and too spicy for me, but the texture was nice and thick. Shish taouk was probably the best dish in my opinion! The fries were crunchy and warm. There were red onions, sumac, and parsley in the wrap! The meat was juicy and flavorful! Still it had a bit of spice! Shawarma loaded fries were good but simply too spicy for our party. They were crispy and covered in garlic sauce, pickles, cheese, and chili sauce. We did find the chicken was a bit too dry but the sauce did help balance that. The beef shawarma was too hot for the member who ordered it. I will say though that I did enjoy it. The meat wasn't as tender as we liked, it was sliced as thin as I liked. And the spice built up until it was too much. I will mention though if you're not used to spice and spicy food then maybe this isn't for you. Another member also mentioned the meat wasn't as charred as she liked. We got the Turkish coffee which I have to say isn't for a casual coffee drinker. It is akin to sucking on a coffee bean. The tea was unsweeted and I'm not sure if they is an option to sweeten, but it was refreshing. The vitmo was the best drink by far. We actually got more to go. It is similar to a cherry cola! It was fizzy and delicious! Service was great! Our server managed to memorize our order and get our order in a reasonable time with no mistakes. The ambience was warm, inviting, clean, and there was nice music in the background that wasn't too loud. The portions were well worth the price! I got a whole lamb shank for 20 bucks!

Arabian palace has such good food. It's middle eastern cuisine loaded with flavors that will keep you going back for more. They give you a good amount of food for the price you pay and it's worth every penny you spend. Highly recommend.

I tried a variety of dishes from different sections of the menu, which is a great way to explore the flavors and offerings of a restaurant. I was thrilled to enjoy everything I tried, from the kibbeh and chicken shawarma to the lamb ouzi and sweet treats like knafeh and pistachio baklava. The aryan yogurt drink was a nice touch, too! Having more halal food options in Spokane is definitely something for me to celebrate. I'm looking forward to trying more of their menu items soon. Good service with minimalist interior ambiance.

It wasn't that long ago Spokane didn't have much culinary variety to offer. There has been a significant increase in the last decade and even more so over recent years. Tonight we got to experience some lovely food at the Middle Eastern eatery @arabian_palace1 . A bright and clean interior, friendly staff and well balanced/flavorful dishes. Added bonus that the portions are generous and affordable prices! DOLMA- Grape leaves filled with rice, tomato, garlic, and mint served with lemon and pomegranate molasses HUMMUS- Chickpeas, tahini, lemon, and olive oil served with baked-to-order pita. MUHAMMARA- Tomato, onion, ground chili, olive oil black sesame seeds and mozzarella cheese. CHICKEN SHISH KABOB- Chunks of marinated chicken or lamb skewered and grilled to perfection, served with seasoned rice and salad. CHICKEN SHAWARMA WRAP-Tender pieces of shawarma-style chicken or beef. house made sauce, and vegetables wrapped in Lavash. BEEF KABOB- In- house minced beef skewered and grilled to perfection, served with seasoned rice and salad.

Food was so flavorful. I got the lamb and it was falling off the bone. I also enjoyed the rice with all the extras. The nuts give it a nice crunchy texture. It came with a tomato sauce. I'm not sure what all was in it, but I liked it enough to pour the whole thing into my rice. Got the pistachio baklava. Yum! You can tell it was made fresh. Service was good and one gal looked like she was genuinely happy to be there. The place was clean, well lit, bathroom was also clean. Will go again!

It was about a three minute drive from where I was, and I decided to go in and get a Lamb Shawarma. I am a big fan of shawarmas and I have had many different types from many different middle east countries, so I went in with high standards, especially after reading the reviews. The service was friendly and nothing to complain about. Ambiance wise, this is a place where you go up to the counter and order your food and seat yourself and eat. It is not a sit-down restaurant or a place with waiter service. The Shawarma came out close to $20. It came with fries as well. The fries were not anything out of the ordinary but the shawarma itself was not very seasoned. The meat was cooked fine and there were no red flags, but I think the seasoning was very underwhelming. Maybe I didn't order the right thing, but I think a shawarma is pretty standard. I would probably not return, if given the chance.
