I was excited when I found this place and noted that it was pretty close to where I would be working during my time in Spokane. It was about a three minute drive from where I was, and I decided to go in and get a Lamb Shawarma. I am a big fan of shawarmas and I have had many different types from many different middle east countries, so I went in with high standards, especially after reading the reviews. The service was friendly and nothing to complain about. Ambiance wise, this is a place where you go up to the counter and order your food and seat yourself and eat. It is not a sit-down restaurant or a place with waiter service. The Shawarma came out close to $20. It came with fries as well. The fries were not anything out of the ordinary but the shawarma itself was not very seasoned. The meat was cooked fine and there were no red flags, but I think the seasoning was very underwhelming. Maybe I didn't order the right thing, but I think a shawarma is pretty standard. I would probably not return, if given the chance. read more

We tried Lebanon for the first time. It was a late lunch, and my husband was hungry so he was really happy with the giant portion size. He ordered the gyro and fries with feta. I went for a more traditional order of Ful, which is legumes, onions, and spices. It was very flavorful and had a creamy topping that was not tzatziki. The pitas were fresh and warm. Arrived in Spokane on Memorial Day evening and had selected Lebanon for dinner prior to arrival. We arrived a few minutes after 7pm with hopes that we'd have just under and hour to grab dinner but they closed early for the holiday and we missed it :( Was super bummed and tried another "Mediterranean" restaurant in town and super disappointed and still craving the real deal. We tried coming back a couple days later and SO GLAD we did! The staff genuinely care about the customers and engage with us about location, previous dining, and menu items. We tried the baba ghanoush (OMG), lamb shawarma, grape leaves, chicken and lamb kofta skewers, and baklava. I loved everything!! It was sooo much food, we had enough for dinner the following night and stopped by again to pick up a hummus to try. The staff remembered us and made us feel so appreciated. The portions are huge and the staff is really generous with the extras. If I were local, I would literally eat here every week. read more

Lebanon is amazing in so many ways - their food is phenomenal, the service is superb (shout out to Madeline - sweetest woman I've met at a restaurant), and they even had entertainment for us during dinner. We came here yesterday on the last day of Restaurant Week. I haven't been here before, but now I will become a regular. The menu was $35 for three courses. I got the tzatziki dip with naan, chicken shawarma, and a dessert that tasted like candy I grew up with in Mexico. It was perfect. Also, the portions were HUGE. This was well worth the $35 as I now have enough food for another 2-3 meals which I am very excited about that. The restaurant is on the first floor of a condo building downtown so it's within walking distance if you work downtown. 100% recommend. read more

We went here for a pick up order for lunch. The service was nice and fast. The food however, it was a bit underwhelming for the price . We had a chicken Shawarma and a beef Shawarma. The $15 baklava milkshake is worth it. It's loaded with pistachios, cardamom, rose petals, and topped with a full piece of baklava. It's a fancy drink and a dessert in one, easily shared by 2-3 people. Excellent shawarma, service is great and friendly. Was excited to try the food at this restaurant and went around the middle of the day about a week ago and the entire restaurant was empty and we decided to dine in. The service was alright, it was friendly but I very much wish we were informed on the upgrades made because at certain points the waiter suggested alternative salads with the entree making it sound like it is the same price however was additional charges. The menus for me and my girlfriend were both fairly dirty and with no customers inside the restaurant tables were not bussed. Then came the food. The overall portions were great, it had alot of food, but the rest of it, at least the beef and chicken, tasted slightly off. The beef was extremely dry and lacked flavor, but the sauce that smothered everything did a great job masking it. It just tasted like the meat and chicken was old and left me disappointed. Now, guess the price of two entrees and one can of diet coke. If you guessed in total including tip was 80$ you would be correct. This was shockingly expensive, even with big portions, a $80 price tag for two and only getting a single can of soda is alot. I would go somewhere else for similar food for half the price. read more

Very happy to find this place after recently moving to the area. Like most places in Spokane, it's only 10 minutes from my house ... and it's halal too! A Palestinian friend recently joined me there for dinner and he was quite happy (though purists might say the food lacks garlic and parsley :). The beef shawarma was a good tenderness, but flavor and composition of the wrap was uninspiring and easy to forget about. Especially with the lackluster tahini. I had a wonderful lunch experience with my girlfriends at Lebanon Restaurant & Cafe! We sat in a cozy booth and ordered the Lebanese meat pies, gyro, and fried veggie sandwich, and all three dishes (and the fries that came with the latter two) were amazing. The tzatziki sauce was a real standout -- it is creamier and more flavorful/herbier than most versions -- and I'd recommend ordering a side of it with your fries as a dipping sauce! I only wish I'd had enough of an appetite to try the kunafeh, which is a time-intensive dessert to make and thus a difficult one to find on menus, especially in Spokane (I'm not sure if I've seen it anywhere else in this city). Prices were fair for portion sizes -- I left completely stuffed. Our server Cher was attentive and friendly, and I enjoyed flipping through some of the cookbooks in the restaurant afterwards. I highly recommend Lebanon Restaurant to anyone who wants to try authentic, delicious Lebanese/Middle Eastern food! This is a welcome addition to the food scene in Spokane! read more

Our new favorite restaurant! The service was fabulous and the food excellent. My friend and I shared the Lebanese Sampler with Hummus, Tahini, stuffed grape leaves, falafel patties, Tabouleh, Tzatziki and pita bread. For drinks we ordered the Lebanese Coffee with a hint of cardamom, and the Ayran (a non sweet yogurt drink). We finished this delicious meal with baklava and left feeling nostalgic for Egypt. The Entrance to the restaurant is on the Wall Street side of the Cooper George Bldg, the address is on 5th, so it is a bit confusing to find if you just drive by on 5th.
