Their barbecue sauce (the red one -- I don't put yellow sauce on brisket -- had a good flavor that complemented the brisket's flavor rather than overpowering it.) As for the sides, the chili was OK, but not something that I would order again. I like chili and was curious. Curiosity satisfied. The corn bread was moist and that middle-of-the-road between sweet and savory that is common in much of Texas (at least the parts I have visited). I like mine a little more sweet, but, like the brisket, I am a believer in getting the texture right first. Be aware if you are a fan of the sweet corn breads.

She then kept insisting, "the kitchen is being cleaned, you're going to have to wait 15-20 minutes to order" and my husband and i insisted we were okay with waiting. It was just us two in the restaurant again, over an hour before close. and the woman then again said "do you want to go? it's going to be 15-20 minutes", i then said sternly we are okay with waiting and the woman said yet again "do you want to go" we weren't being given an option. The woman was insisting we leave. My husband got upset and said we should just go. They were incredibly rude, unwelcoming and disgusting in the manner they attended us. My husband and I used to go here frequently when we were dating and the woman did nothing other than ruin a place that had so many great memories for us. I can confidently say now, Panda Express is so much better. we came here right after, 15 minutes before close and greeted with nothing other than smiles and fresh food upon our request.
